Hello clown lips! I love MAC's Pro Longwears but this color is not for me. I'm a HHH / C4 / C42 with lightly pigmented lips. On the website this looks like a nice deep brown, but on my lips it looks like one of those ugly bright red Clinique GWP lipsticks. The "mirror" top coat that comes with these lustre formulas I love, but over this color it just makes it even brighter. If I had known this was so red in it, I wouldn't have purchased it.

As with the previous poster, I only wear long wearing lip formulas and these longwear lustres are awesome! I'm a darkskinned DDD and lustrebean is like the perfect neutral, YLBB for me. 98% of the time I have to wear a lip liner with my lippies to make them look right and I don't have to with lustrebean and that is SO refreshing! Its a very neutral and natural brownish pink on my lips. The wear is awesome, i've had it on for 8 hrs now and its still going strong. The lustrelongs came with a clear, microglittery topcoat which I don't particularly care for because I don't like to do glitter everyday but it does make the color really stand out. This might potentially be a HG lip color for me so DDD's defintely go and check it out!!

I won't wear a lipstick unless it's longwearing. I hate being paranoid about how my lipstick looks and having to touch-up throughout the day. Using the Lustrelong formula, all I have to do is put it on once carefully in the morning, and I KNOW my l/s looks great and will stay exactly the way I want it until I take it off. I can eat, drink, or whatever, and it doesn't budge. It's a lot like Lipfinity, but much more smooth and comfortable to wear. It does start to fade if you eat greasy food, so when that happens, I just apply a petroleum based lip gloss, remove it all, and put on a fresh coat.

LUSTREBEAN is a very warm, dark nude w/ shimmer. It looks like a fleshy, light brick color to me. It works very well w/ my super pale NW15 complexion and red hair. The swatch on the MAC site makes it look much darker and browner than it is IRL. The gloss on the other side of the wand has great texture and the typical MAC vanilla scent. It is packed with iridescent shimmer and makes my lips look blindingly shiny. Very cute.
