This was a godsend. It was the only cleanser I have ever used that didn't leave my face tight and dry. I have combination skin. It is also the only cleanser that lessened the bumps around my nose(not pimples. just small raised bumps of skin). I have used clean n clear, aveeno and clinique. none of them compare. I will continue buying this over and over. It was $13 and I live in Australia

I have some serious problem skin. It's really bad. I've been going to a dermatologist since I was in middle school. Nothing has helped. So, I bought this scrub simply for the "invigorating" part. And that it is. I love the cool tingly feeling that it gives when washing my face. And not only that, but I actually have seen some improvement in my acne. VERY impressed.

When I first started using this I thought it was really great. Made me feel very clean and gave me a tingling feeling on my face. And then I'd notice that EVERYTIME I'd use this product I would breakout really badly. I would wake up the next day and it would look like someone's been beating me up through my sleep. I stopped using it a for a while when my breakouts cleared off and wanted to give this a second chance. Same thing happened again. Very disappointed.

Initially, I found this product to be great, as it made my skin feel clean & was definitely invigorating.
Although after about 2 months of using it, it started to dry out my skin & made my cheeks peel. I don't get any breakout's on my cheeks, so I guess it was way too harsh as my cheeks aren't oily. It peeled my skin and left white blotches on my skin so I discontinued use.
It does work in other factors, but I don't recommend using it daily unless you have really oily/problem skin.

I don't know where I've been all this time. I was buying expensive cleanser and they weren't doing anything for my skin.

Then one day I discovered this in the drugstore. I was thinking oh what the heck I've used up everything I had at home. I've tried all the expensive stuff, maybe this will hold me over until I discover the next best thing. Little did I know this was that next best thing.

It doesn't leave my face feeling tight and dry after every use. I use it with my Clarisonic for some extra exfoliation. It's just the right amount of scrubbing I need for my face. It doesn't have any acne medication in it but it stops me from breaking out. I'm just going to guess that the chemistry of this cleaner and my face mix well. My face is very oily and it feels great after using this. I love that tingly clean sensation you get after using this.

This product is so nice, leaves skin feeling fresh and invigorated with a 'cool' feeling.
Cleanses my skin without stripping it of all moisture and leaves it looking fresher and more even.
This is definitely a staple product for me. I have tried the pink grapefruit scrub and I find that one to be very drying and the pink grapefruit scrub also has a different texture compared to this one which is more of a silky gel consistency.
LOVE IT.

Amazing, best face wash. Honestly, don't hesitate, it scrubs without drying your face to peels. The tingly feeling is to die for, I love washing my face with this and if it weren't bad for my skin, I would do it all day. My skin looks and feels better every time I use this! My first time buying it, after trying a friend's a few times, and i won't ever stop.

I've been using this scrub for around 2 years on and off. From around September 2010 - February, I used it religiously everyday, and my skin was amazing, clear as a bell and soosoo even! However from february onwards I had a MASSIVE outbreak of acne (I believe my skin got used to the product) and had acne from February 2011 up to around January this year. Afterwards I went through an intense treatment to clear up my acne, the products got too much for my skin so I had to look for a more gentle cleanser. Saw this in my shower and decided to give it another go. MY SKIN LOOVES THIS. Its glowly and definitely more even after using this! In terms of my slight acne problem (a little bit still) it definitely shrinks the pimples more but would only work in aid of a BP or SA treatment too. I'm still to find my acne cleanser that will really clear up the last few but meanwhile I will just be using this because it makes me feel soso refreshed!

This is not for sensitive or aggravated skin, including those with acne. The reason being, the menthol will stay on the skin for a good minute or so creating a "cooling" effect which may not be comfortable at all for those with sensitive skin, particularly if you are in the shower and you're constantly hit with water running down your face, which prolongs seems to intensify the "cooling" effect. Also, the scent is not pleasing at all. You will notice several different scent included in this product and they're all chemical in nature. The strength of the scent is not subtle so you will have to bear with it.

Aside from the above negative points, this scrub will do its job in getting skin thoroughly clean with its micro beads. I used to use a scrub by St. Ives but after learning that the edges of the finely milled almond particles were not smooth but rather sharp and uneven, I decided to look for a non-natural scrub with man made micro beads instead. The reason being, the sharp uneven edges can cause damage to skin and indeed, every time I used my St. Ives scrub, my skin always felt over scrubbed and soar no matter how gentle I was in cleaning my skin. This is not the case with Neutrogena. My skin feels very nicely cleaned but not soar or over cleansed.

125ml or 4.2 fl oz. The packaging is very practical with a flip top and a small spout at the top that allows the product to come out without gushing out. Also there's a see through part at the front of the plastic tube to allow customers to see the actual product. Size of a 1 cent coin will be plenty to wash the entire face and neck. The product is a gel like formula (with blue coloring) and will turn into a foam but not really foamy like some cleansers -- just a gentle foam. The blue micro beads are evenly distributed within the gel formula.

I would give 5/5 for the product's ability to provide a thorough cleanse without over stripping the skin's natural moisture barrier. But overall, I can only give 3/5 because of the offensive scent as well as the menthol which really is a bother. It's one of those products that you can't wait till it's finished so you can move onto some other product. I'm currently eyeing the Biore scrub after this one. It's really a pity though because scrubbing wise, it's absolutely a dream. It's perfect! But that's the only thing good going for it. It's definitely not a repeat buy for me.

Good cleanser, terrible scrub. Very refreshing and rinses away clean. Not sure why they call it a scrub though. The scrub particles were few and far between. Should just call it a deep cleanser, skip the scrub part. UPDATE: after using for a few weeks, I have noticed problem areas clearing up. My complexion was not bad to start, but there has been a noticeable change in my skin for the better, blackheads are about 90% gone. I use this product after I have washed my face with my olay scrub cleaser and am very pleased with the results.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I've been using it ever since my friend introduced it to me in 2007... yeah that's about 4.5 years daily and I'm still not sick of it! I seriously would go out of my way just to find this scrub cuz i get so paranoid when I run out lol. & I bring it everywhere I travel. Okay enough about how much I love this & why: I love how it exfoliates your skin and gives you that clean, minty & refreshed feel after. I can feel all the dirt & oil coming off of me right after I use it and my face feels so smooth! This product is really awesome :) I've tried other ones like the neutrogena foam & the grapefruit scrub, and the clean & clear exfoliating scrub... they definitely don't do the same job as this one.

I am in love with this product. It gently removes impurities and foams very well. It does not cause any sensitivity. I feel like I'm washing my face with ice, it refreshes my face. Strongly reccomend it.

This wash is amazing.
It exfoilates and made my skin feels fresh and clean. The wash made noticeble difference to my skin. My face looks more even and clear!

I have and always will love this product! You can really feel the clean! I love the cool refreshing feeling afterwards. I have normal skin, it didn't overdry or anything. I noticed an improvement after the first use! I have re-bought this product a number of times. I really like using it before I go to bed because my face feels really fresh and cool. Overall I love this product!

I love this product. I have used so many products, including some really good ones! But, nothing has given me results like this before. After the FIRST wash, literally all of the blackheads on my nose disappeared. IT'S CRAZY. And it totally minimized my pores. Plus it feels so good and cool on skin. My only problem--which is totally minimal--is that it doesn't foam. At all. And it's not good to remove eye makeup, because you shouldn't put it near your eyes, but the product never said it was good for that, so it doesn't even matter. It does what it's supposed to do. It's really great!! It's cheap, effective, and smells/feels amazing. As for actual breakouts though, it doesn't treat them, but it will definitely help prevent them, because it cleans so deep.

I love this scrub. Its perfect for my sensitive skin, it is not harsh. I use it 2-3 times a week and it leaves my skin feeling so soft and rejuvinated after I use it. I liked it so much I bought a back up. I alternate between this and my foaming face wash both from neutrogena when I take my showers at night and I love both. I will keep on repurchasing this product over and over again.

I saw this in our medicine cabinet and thought, why not? I followed the instructions on the back and rinsed it off. I felt a lovely tingling sensation, which I simply adore! It felt like my skin is taking deep breaths. Then, I looked in the mirror and I saw that my skin looked DRY! Like incredibly dry (especially in my cheeks which is the driest part of my skin) I quickly toned my skin and put on moisturizer but it still felt quite dry.

If you have dry skin, I would not recommend this product.
