I picked this up long before I owned any Sigma or Mac brushes and I still choose to use this daily over those brands. I always use this to apply my crease color and it works perfectly for me. It looks a little scratchy and compared to my other eye brushes it is not the softest by any means but it certainly doesn't not scratch. I have no shedding and it's easy to wash. I will purchase another I actually cannot believe I haven't yet. The price is reasonable as well being only $9.

As a starter brush I think it is great. It isn't too harsh at all. My friend is an Avon rep so I try to buy an item every few weeks to support her. Surprisingly it gets the job done. It is comparable to the Mac 224 brush as far as blending goes, but it is no where near as soft. I sometimes use this brush to blend when all my other brushes have shadow on them..or i use it as an under eye concealer brush. Either way, it is $8 and you get what you pay for. I bought this brush around 5 years ago and its still holding strong so it is durable.

I am an Avon Rep and I was skeptical about buying any brush from Avon or Mark, honestly. Well I did and I recieved it today. I just took it out of the package and it's super soft and I think it wll do a great job. I will update when I use it later. :)

I love this brush. It gets the job done by blending well, and I dont find the bristles to be harsh. I would say this brush is comparable to MAC 224. Good brush for a fracton of the price.

Im shocked that this product has good reviews. Now I'm starting to think that maybe I was the only one who had a bad brush.
I was excited about getting this blending brush and I was sooo disappointed when i fianlly got it. The bristles are so rough and scratchy. I washed it and conditioned it so many times for several days and it was still scratchy. It made me mad. Don't get me wrong I love the packaging and it did a good job blending and i feel bad for my poor eyelids whenever I use it.

I like this brush quite a bit, just not as much as my Studio Tools Contour Brush. The fibers are a bit longer so the head is larger. However, it is very good for blending, and blends evenly and well. I would buy this again if mine wore out.
Edit: I'm hardly using this at all. I keep using the Studio Tools one.

One of my favorite brushes! I put a nude shimmer on it and blend out my darker colors, then put a light gold or white and highlight under my brow bone and inner corners. Love it :)

I've had this brush now for over a year and I can't say enough positive things about it. I just love it. Since I've learned to really blend my eyeshadow out and play with stronger color combinations it has been invaluable. I haven't had any shedding so far with mine and I wash it about every two weeks. I also find the bristles to be very nice and soft. At only $6. I think you'd be crazy not to at least try it! :D

I have the complete set of brushes from Mark and I have to say I LOVE them! I use this brush everyday and it is amazing. These brushes are so much cheaper compared to mac's brushes and in my opinion they are the same quality.

The brush is too flimsy to be used for blending; it seems that the hairs are too long. I gave it a haircut (I'm not kidding) and now it works for blending. I like how it doesn't take off eye shadow when I use it for blending. I haven't had a problem with loss of softness after washing.

I've had this brush for 3 months now...and a bit sad it didn't last me longer. At first I thought this was such a fabulous brush at an even more fabulous price. It was a bit scratchy from the first time I used it but not that big of a deal. But after the 3rd time I washed this brush with MAC brush cleanser it has completely lost all of it's softness! My other Mark brushes have held up well through numerous cleansing. I would suggest getting E.L.F's blending blush ($1) than Marks...E.L.F's blending brush is imo much better brush in quality and function and has survived many washes.

I have the avon and the other mark eyeshadow brushes so I decided to give this one a try and wasn't disappointed. It's perfect for blending eyeshadow in your crease. Does it quickly and amazingly, I previously used a shorter brush to blend which didn't work as well and took awhile. I'm glad I gave this brush a chance, it's only $5 too. Mark has great quality brushes. Forget the more exepensive brands if you can get quality brushes for this price. Brush hasn't shed and is soft, not at all scratchy. Perfect for smokey eyes!

As I have always been rather fond of the smokey eyes, this was the perfect brush for it. It literally allowed me to blend the harsh edges without excessively picking up the eyeshadow I had already applied creating a seamless look in the colors. I hate a hard edge in my crease and this really did the job. It's nice and soft, a litte fluffy as well so it doesn't press too hard against your already hard done job in applying your look.

i think for the price, its a pretty good brush. for me though, it was a little scratchy. plus, it seemed kinda large for crease work and too flimsy to do good blending. its worth a try, though, since it is so cheap and has gotten some good reviews.

I loved my Mark eye shadow brush so much that I bought a second one...I wanted to love this one too. I nurtured it, I cleaned it, I used it again and again. It was awful. So scratchy, so rough-looking - it was like a cheapo Crayola paint brush from one of those watercolor kits for children!!! Did I get a bad one (I mean, a BAD one)? I have returned to my super-soft Prestige crease brush with a greater appreciation and love....

amazing eyeshadow blender. also great for applying highlight and for creating an all over soft wash. i use this brush more than any other eye brush now. it can soften lines, shadow the crease, contour and highlight. mine is in no way scratchy or harsh. blends beautifully with little effort. go buy this one NOW!

I must say that I am puzzled by all of the positive reviews. I found this brush to be incredibly scratchy and of cheap quality. I gave it a 2 (rather than a 1) because it does do the trick of blending eyeshadows together and also works for applying highly pigmented shades sheerly, but the bristles are so scratchy that it almost hurts when I use it around my eye area. For inexpensive makeup brushes in general, I much prefer Essence of Beauty over Mark.
