This has worked for me. I see a lot of mixed reviews on this product so I guess I will try to explain what kind of dark circles I have. Mine are definitely the type that don't go away with extra, it may fade slightly but it's generally there for life (I have come to accept). This eye cream has not completely eliminated my dark circles, but I have to say they do look better than without using it. I was patient with this product though, I could only see a noticable difference after a month of using and I used it religiously each day. I have to say if you are expecting to never have to use concealer again on your dark circles, then thats probably too much expectations for this product

I am Indian and have the usual dark circle problem. This actually does help and only after a couple of uses. However, anything I apply around my delicate eye area makes it feel heavy and eventually gives me a headache. Gotta swap!

It doesn't work for me. In fact, it makes them worst and even made them became reddish and felt like burned and became too dried. This is the most expensive eye cream product that I ever bought, a complete waste of time and money!

What I dislike about this product:
-It burns underneath my eyes. Jeeeez. I should have just put some bengay or iceyhot under there....because even after using a gentle facewash and a gentle touch in applying this on clean skin, IT HURT.
-It doesn't work.
-It is expensive. The current price at Sephora is $59. Wow, so there are many, many more expensive beauty products out there....so the cost could be worse, but paying $59 for something that burns under my eyes and doesn't work isn't worth it to me.
-Turned the delicate eye area RED. Who needs tears and crying to get redness around your eyes....even though I made sure to only use this product under my eyes and keep it from getting anywhere else....and even though I abstained from rubbing or touching my eyes after application, my entire eye area turned red. People were asking me "what's wrong???" and thinking I had been crying.
-Most importantly, it didn't work for me....at all. After a month of us, my circles are the same, my under eye area is worse, and I have $59 less in my bank account.

I wish I could give this product a -10000 review.

This eye cream is AMAZING! i'm a product junkie and i go all out looking for the best of all skincare. I've tried countless of eye creams - picked out whatever looks good at sephora...but this cream really does what it says. Rids dark eye circle. i like the tube that it comes in as it squeezes out just a bit each time - easy to control just the exact amount u need.
anyway, I really do recommend this for ppl who are looking for an dark under eye treatment.

If only I could give this product -5 stars! I dabbed a little of the tester tube under my eyes when I stopped into a Saphora today and a moment later I had dark Petechia (blood spots) all under my write area! Not only did it do nothing for my dark circles but it actually looks as though I have hickies under my eyes! And I begin a new job tomorrow. I'm devasted. Hopefully it clears up quickly. If I don't see any improvement tomorrow I'm calling a derm :(. Will edited post with update.

didn't do ANYTHING it claimed it would - and at this price point, it should've massaged my back along with reducing dark circles, puffiness and crow's feet. A complete waste of money - one of the very few products I have ever returned!! I let a mua at Saks talk me into this purchase, and she assured me that I could return at any time if I didn't see results. I think I may have used it for a month or so, and most of that time was spent saying "well, i'll give it one more day and if I don't see any results, back to the store for you!' I don't even think it moisturized very well. I have yet to find a HG eye treatment, but this was the absolute bottom of the barrel! FEH!!!

This product did NOT work. It is supposed to address dark undereye circles. It seemed like it mainly just tried to conceal them. That would be fine if they told you up front that was all it did, but for the cost and its claims, I expected it to do more than that. It also didn't work well under other makeup, and "pilled" (like a sweater, kind of) when anything touched it. It didn't even seem to have any other benefits -- it didn't moisturize, or have any antiaging ingredients that I recognized. I will NOT buy it again. Steer clear!

PS -- I gave it two lippies because it didn't do any harm. But that's about as much as I can say for it.

I bought this off eBay as I haven't seen them in Australia yet. I have very dark circles under my eyes which must be caused by genetics as I've only had them for 7 or so years and I get more than enough sleep, etc so I think it may be to do with being half Indian with the pigmentation and everything. I scar easily and usually dark too. I've been using this twice a day, as directed, for a couple weeks now and not seeing any difference whatsoever. I think what someone said below is true: if it works for you, it really works and if not, not at all. Very disappointed as it was very expensive and thought it might be my ticket out of this problem.. :( Will update if I see any results.

UPDATE: Have tried this every day for 2 months and NO result at all. VERY disappointed. Waste of money.

I usually don't write early reviews, but this one really blew me away. I have dark purple looking circles under my eyes, it's not due to sleep or diet, etc. They're just THERE. A friend recommended I try this and being desperate I ordered it online. After using it for two days I could SEE a difference, my circles were lighter and I didn't have to use nearly as much concealer. Every day they seem to get a bit better. I will update a few months down the road - but for now I'm married to this stuff. I really can't believe it works!

This is one of those products that if it works for you, it works like a miracle but if it doesnt work, it does absolutely nothing. My mom actually discovered this and it worked AMAZING on her. It not only decreased her dark circles (visible decrease within a week) it also got rid of her eye bags. It worked so well for her that she bought 3 backups the next month. Since she bought so much of this that the sales rep. gave her 2 sample sizes (it's half the size of the full size).

So she gave me a tube of the sample for me to try out. After trying this for over two months, I have decided that this is not a miracle worker for me. Although it does help with the appearance of my dark circles and there is a small improvement in the appearance of my eye bags, it is nothing compared to what it did for my mom. This product also has a brightening effect due to the shimmer particles in it which makes it ideal to use in the morning under under eye concealer. I found that this provides a great base for my concealer and works with it to improve the appearance of my circles.

Overall, this product works amazing for my mom but it doesnt work as well for me. I would suggest you try this product out if possible before purchasing it since it is quite expensive.

It's the only thing that's had any real effect for me so far, though I concede that I might have the right 'type' of dark circles for it to work. I've been disappointed by eye treatments so many times in the past that I nearly fell over when I looked in the mirror and saw that my undereye shadows actually did look diminished - and it couldn't be explained by the lighting or a sneaky dab of Touche Eclat (I wasn't wearing any.)

I've almost used up my sample and will be purchasing a full tube this week with Christmas present money. I've given Hylexin four stars for its performance so far - holding off on five until I see how it works over the long term.

I got this for free; otherwise, there is no way I would have dropped $100.

It does lessen the darkness for me & helps with puffiness. My eyes get a little puffy in the morning, and this relieves the uncomfortable feeling associated with eyelid bloat, ew. Garnier makes a cheap eye roller for that purpose, so I wouldn't buy this product merely for puffiness.

As for the dark circles, it really does minimize them. I don't use it consistently, and I think I'll try to use it regularly over the next few weeks. I'll update with my results. My undereye area is slightly sunken in, so I know it will only do so much.

This is the only eye treatment that has worked even a little bit. Those with dark circles know that even a little bit of a lightening can induce a little bit of euphora. I would've given it 4 lippies, but $100..? Come on! For that, it better take me out for a dinner and a movie!

Like the packaging, simple, and it allows me to easily get the desired amount with no waste.

I was actually just going over reviews searching for eye creams and when I saw this one listed I just HAD to review it. This product did nothing for me at all. I felt scammed just like someone mentioned below. Perhaps it might work on slight darkenss but I have very dark circles under my eyes...so much so that in 7th grade kids would ask me if I got punched it the eyes..lol. I'm thinking of trying 100% pure coffee eye cream and if so I will review.

First of all, ladies and gents, THERE ARE SEVERAL KINDS OF DARK UNDEREYE CIRCLES! To expect that one product could cure every kind is simply ridiculous. This is not a miracle product for every type of undereye darkness. If everyone realized this simple fact, I bet 90% of the negative reviews on here would be obsolete. This product is mainly designed for people who have dark, purple, bruise-like, veiny undereye circles. The kind that is generally understood to be caused by poor circulation in this area. Not from melanin pigmentation, lack of sleep, dehydration, etc!!!

Phew. That said, I am one of those with the dark purple circles that haven't managed to find anything out there that works for a extended period of time. I've had them for about 10 years now (I'm only in my early 20's), and I decided to give Hylexin a try after reading reviews on here from people who appeared to have similar stories to mine. Dermatologists have told me there's nothing I can do about them, that my money is best spent on good concealers to cover them up. I just find that so hard to believe, that absolutely nothing out there works. My current derm says that my family history of allergies is probably why I have such dark circles, although I have no allergies myself and no one else in my family has dark circles (yeah, I got genetically gypped). I picked up a tube of Hylexin at Sephora because they have a 60-day return policy that says you can return anything in that time period for a full refund. Oh and you have to try this and every other skincare product for at least this amount of time to reasonably judge results accurately. Please don't even review something if you haven't done this. You will not see full results in a week!! A tube comes out to about $100 with tax. I don't consider that a massive price to pay if it means reducing my circles. If you have them like I do, you'd understand.

I've been using Hylexin for about a month and a half now. I noticed the biggest change after about 2 weeks. They were significantly lightened and many times I found myself completely unable to see some veins at all. I was ecstatic!!! Make sure to shake the tube before each use as it tends to separate. It comes in a needlenose tube that is very sanitary and convenient. More importantly, it's a concentrated formula, so you need VERY LITTLE for each application (morning and night). For as long as I've been using it, I'm only about 25% through the tube. So that $100 it cost will be stretched out over about 5-6 months. So less than $20 a month for noticeable results? You bet I'll keep using it!

My results have stayed about the same since that change at 2 weeks, but I'll keep using it until the tube runs out at least and then evaluate it again. I don't believe my circles will ever completely disappear, but this is as close as I've come to it happening. I'm sure if I stop using it, they will go back to as dark as they were before. Besides, Hylexin has made them so much easier to conceal with makeup.

The packaging also mentions how it works for puffiness, but I can't testify to that since I don't have any. It also says you may experience a feeling of warmth as it starts to work. I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary.

I rated it a 4 because it's not a miracle product. I am not cured of undereye circles. But it's the best product I've found yet, so kudos to Hylexin. All the haters to the left!

UPDATE: It's been a FULL YEAR since I started using this product and I'm still on the same tube, and still have the same great results. So about $8/month for the only thing that has worked for me? YES PLEASE & THANKS! :)

Been using this for a couple of years now, and have not seen any change in the darkness of my circles. Very disappointed at the results, and how I got suckered into buying this despite knowing hideous hereditary dark circles are almost impossible to vanquish…I guess I’ll just have to carry on the search for something that actually works. The only redeeming feature of this is the moisturisation factor, and for the price I paid, its just not worth it!

This is my absolute can't be without product. I've been using it for more than two years now and I'm only about to finish my third tube.I went about two months without it though, and realised that I should have never stoped using it. My dark circles run in the family, and I absolutely hate them. Before Hylexin nothing I tried worked. I use it religiously twice daily and whatever shadow is left is fixed with Touch Eclat. This last one is an amazing highlighter but I need to use them toghether for my dark circles to dissapear.
Only a tiny is needed so despite the high price it lasts for about 10 months. The packaging is great because you can squeeze the last little drop out of it. I learned Sephora gives samples, give it a try using it as instructed every day. Good luck.
