I have dry skin, never oily, and this felt like an oil slick on my face. Even an hour later I was wiping it off and it left greasy smears on the pillow. Sure, it works as a moisturizer, but it felt too gross to use again.

PROS
- squeeze tube = hygienic
- I found moisturizing enough for winter (dry/combination skin)
- natural without a lot of bad ingredients (parabens)
- fast absorption
- did not break me out
- no dry patches in the morning
- not too greasy under daytime makeup/foundation

CONS
- smell - did not bother me too much
- expensive ($55 ish I think, I got it as a package don't know how much it cost specifically)
- no SPF

Unfortunately, it did not work miracles for my skin, very status quo with usage. Do enjoy the fact that it is natural and worked great alone as night time moisturizer.

I picked this up as a sample and I REALLY should've read the reviews first. The smell is SO BAD. And quite strong!

If I could get past the smell, it would probably be quite nice. The texture is creamy but light and seems to absorb well.

But YEESH THE SMELL!

This could be a great moisturizer, but the smell like others have said is very off-putting. I have a very sensitive nose and it was a bit too much. Make sure you get a whiff before buying like I did!

That said, it is a nice, slight moisturizer that smooths on/absorbs quickly. It's probably better for people with oily/combo skin. I don't think it's moisturizing enough for dry/winter skin.

I didn't notice any improvements in my skin after using for a few weeks (day time only) but I didn't have any adverse break outs either. I wish it came in a pump but the tube was easy to squeeze the last bits out of.

I have to agree with others that this does smell quite bad. Even my husband commented on it. What I do like about it is the consistency. It's not too heavy, but not too light. I use this at night because it is a bit too greasy to go under makeup in my opinion. A little goes a long way with this. When I finally finish this tube, I might rebuy this.

I can usually get past a less-than-lovely smell if something works well. This does seem to work very nicely but I haven't used this consistently. Each time, I have to wait until I forget just how awful it smells before I dive in again. The smell is some kind of gross and has impressive staying power. Vile stuff. Luckily, it was a freebie with the cleanser so no loss.

I was using a sample of this and I broke out. Not 100% sure this was the cause but I will not be using it again just in case. It does have a nice feel and might work well for people who don't have sensitive/acne-prone/rosacean skin like me.

I've been using this moisturizer for a while and have repurchased it many times. It's not a miracle product. I don't mind the smell-- I actually appreciate that it is an all natural smell and there aren't any perfumey ingredients in the cream. My only gripe is that it tends to pill up over my acne treatment, so I have to wait a while before putting it on. If it didn't pill up, I'd give it 4 stars. I'm probably going to go back to my Body Shop Aloe Cream, which has the same effects as this one, only no pilling up (and cheaper.)

I must have a terrible sense of smell...I don't smell anything bad here. Hmmm. Anyhow, I think it has a nice consistency and isn't too heavy. In fact, it's a good formula for wearing under my tinted moisturizer. It could be a tad richer, but I'm OK with it. It's not a miracle worker, but the packaging is a nice tube which is hygenic, it's a decent size, and the price is also decent. Plus, I also think it helps to even out my skin tone a bit.
UPDATE: I started breaking out from this around my chin and mouth area pretty badly after about a week. Too bad because I really liked it :(

First off, I didn't buy this. I got a sample from Sephora. Secondly, it really does smell like feet! I used it the day after I received it, so I know that it wasn't old. The smell did eventually dissipate, but it is so disgusting even if it was miraculous (it wasn't), I would never buy it.

Pros:
spreads easily
skin feels so soft and moisturized
my skin drinks this
Has not broken me out
not greasy nor too drying for my combo/dry/sensitive skin

Cons:
Smell- like feet
notice when my face is not wet, it does not absorb as well

So I love this product except for the smell. I am going to continue trying more just because I would like to not gag when putting on my moisturizer.

I received a sample of this with my Sephora order and just used it today. I will NOT be buying a full size. The moisturizer is light and feels nice on my skin, but nothing that my current moisturize doesn't do. And the smell of this is absolutely AWFUL. The package says cucumber and rosewater, but I think it smells like old people's foot lotion. It's so strong and pungent, I can't stand it.

I love this moisturizer. It's light, moisturizing and does not irritate my skin at all. It's great under foundation, although at night I prefer something a little more moisturizing. I don't mind the smell at all. I actually like it, to each their own I guess.

I am on my second tube of this moisturizer, and I plan to keep using it: it is perfect for morning moisture under my foundation, and unlike so many others, it does not compromise Any foundation I use. It has been good through all seasons, all weather, and has Never irritated my rosacea. I guess I could use it at night, too, and plan to do this once I use my more expensive creams....I never thought I'd use anything like this, I am typically skeptical of "natural" product lines claims, but I am happy to be using this.

I don't get how people found the consistency to be too heavy. This felt nice initially, but did not provide enough moisture after about an hour. Now purchasing Guerlain Super Aqua Serum. I usually use Neutrogena SPF 15 lotion, which works well, but I'm 27 and noticing a few little changes in my skin texture/tone.

Like many other reviewers here, I was initially very turned off by this cream because of the scent. However, the keyword is INITIALLY!

I received this for free as a Sephora skincare challenge item. When I first opened it, I immediately made up my mind to not like the product because the smell was so funky-- a weird herbal, slightly sour, woody combination. I don't know what brought me to even put it on my face that night, but I'm so glad I did because the next morning, I woke up to the softest, smoothest face ever! My skin is usually rough in the morning, and I used to have to exfoliate pretty often, but this makes my skin noticeably smoother and more supple. Now it's part of my daily skincare regimen, morning and night, and I've gotten over the smell. I actually find it kind of comforting.

When I ran out of my original bottle in March, I waited a little bit before buying it again because I thought there might be a Sephora F&F sale soon. My skin noticed the difference right away, and I couldn't wait to purchase it again. When I finally did get my 2nd tube, it went right back to being soft and smooth in the mornings, thank god.

I hope they never change the formula! Though I'm a sucker for all things that smell good, I could care less about the smell of this cream because its effects are just so amazing.

Seemed nice and creamy, but I wasn't able to get over the odor. I got a sample; I threw the rest away after one use because I was afraid that the lotion had gone bad. It stunk that much!

I actually bought this at the fresh store in dallas. My bf loves fresh stuff and I love a few, but this caused me to have an allergic reaction that lasted over two weeks! I have okay skin, oily and an occasional small breakout. Well I tried his umbrian face mask and loved it. So I thought what a nice face lotion! No!!!!! Horrible, full of cheap preservative additives and caused more acne than I've ever had at one time.

I am asian with very sensitive skin. This moisturizer sinks in. I put it on my fingers and rub my fingers together and pat it on my skin. There is some smell but it doesn't bother me. It moisturizes my dry skin enough for the spring/summer time and I have not had any allergic reactions unlike with Ole Henriksen Herbal Day Crème SPF 15. It doesn't leave me oily later on the day either.

I received this item in the Sephora skincare challenge. I was hoping the product would be a lot better than it actually is. Though I'm not bothered by the scent like other reviewers, I do agree that this is a bit too thick for a facial moisturizer. I wouldn't purchase this in the future and now just use this sample as a hand lotion.
