I received a small tube of this from Sephora as either a birthday present or a points gift...can't remember. And I really liked it! The smell was very nice and fresh...slightly floral, and the gel lathered up very well. It did take off my makeup, but not so much my eye makeup (the packaging promised it would remove mascara but it didn't) and left my face feeling very clean. If I can fork up the cash, I'd definitely buy this again!

The first few uses of this product I wasn't too impressed for the price, however after continued use I began to notice improvement in my skin tone. Primarily the fact of how incredibly soft my skin began to feel. I also like how little of the product you have to use to cleanse your face. I have sensitive skin and this product does not break me out, irritate my skin, or leave my skin red, it is a very gentle soap. The only draw back is that it does not 100% remove all of my black eyeliner. Another concern is the user post below regarding the ingredients, will need to check out the site referenced, cosmeticsdatabase.com.
Update - after reading the users post below regarding the ingredients and visting cosmeticdatabase.com I came across a cleanser by Be Natutal Organics made with rose hip seed, as I really loved the roses from the fresh cleanser. It does an excellent job of removing all makeup without irritating my sensitive skin and leaves it just as soft as the fresh cleanser. I highly recommend visting cosmeticdatabase.com to learn more about the products you're using.

I have really dry, sensitive skin and this cleanser works pretty well. I was looking for an alternative to my Cerave cream cleanser since I felt like my skin needed a change. Like others have said, it has a gel-like, slimy texture to it and smells pretty earthy. It's a combination of cucumbers and something I can't quite put my finger on. I know others are put off by the smell, but I sorta like it. It's non-drying and take all my make up off, but I don't wear a ton to begin with so it may not work as well if you do. The price is pretty steep, but unless I find something better I'll stick with it.

An absolutely "meh" cleanser. Took off my makeup, but not very thoroughly. The scent is very strong, and not to my liking. It was gentle, and did not strip me of any moisture, but I don't feel that it cleaned deeply enough. Will not be buying again.

This was very pleasant. It was kind of like aromatherapy. It smelled so good, like roses. It was very gentle and it left my face feeling so fresh and clean and smooth. It did a great job of removing my makeup, even my waterproof mascara. Too bad it didn't really help with my breakouts.

I do like the way this makes my skin feel after use, it does feel clean and soft without being stripped and doesnt leave any kind of film on me. BUT I cannot stand the smell of cucumber! Not the fake cucumber smell but like actual cucumbers. For this reason alone I would stick with philosophy's purity made simple. If that werent enough, the price tag is too high for a cleanser that doesnt manage to get my waterproof makeup off.

I like this face wash. It works really well with my skin, removes my makeup well. It cleanses really well without over drying. I was caught off guard with all the ingredient concerns on other reviews, but honestly, it doesn't bother me too much, and my skin looks great.

nobody buy this product it has a hazard rating of 7 on cosmeticsdatabase.com, look at the ingredients guys loaaded to the nines with parabens!!!!! also contains BHA AND BHT which are banned in several countries they are known carcinogens. always check your product on that website before you buy anything!! the beauty industry is self regulated they load their products with all kinds of cheap crap that make it appear like their working good but they are really aging your skin and causes many long term problems. i love kiss my face exfoliating cleanser its made of only fruits and water :)

This is a truly wonderful product. It is nearly impossible to find a cleanser that meets my requirements, and this does - exceeded expectations in fact.
Basically, I look for a cleanser that will clean (some leave a film or just don't clean my pores!) while not stripping the skin (most cleansers leave my skin tight, dry, with white patches after using a while.) My cleanser also must be SLS free, and it's a huge plus if it will actually remove makeup.
Well the Fresh Soy Cleanser does all of this! this makes it valuable indeed, though I'm not happy about the $38 price tag...a little excessive, but I haven't found something that leaves my skin looking and feeling this good, except for a Bioelements cleanser that's the same price anyway. If you look at the ingredient list, it has some very good ingredients, so that counts for something!
this is also great for travel because I can just take this one cleanser instead of taking a morning cleanser and then a separate cleanser for evening for makeup removal -this does both, AND doesn't dry out my skin! A lot of people complain about the scent - I don't mind it at all -it smells just like fresh cucumbers.

Alright, I think this one may be a winner. I have been using this for the last several days, and so far it does not seem to be too drying, and as long as I wash my face twice, it does remove all traces of makeup. No problems with breakouts so far either. The only kicker is the price. $38 for such a small amount of cleanser is pretty ridiculous. Still, would probably repurchase unless I can find something just as good for less money.

this cleanser is enjoyable, but not worth the pricetag. It cleans makeup fairly well, but i always have to take off makeup first with an oil based cleanser, then use this pdt , then cleanse my pores with another pdt or use a mask after this because it doesn't seem completely clean. This product would be better in a pump version.

I'm not huge on Fresh products. I find them to be overpriced and only mildly pleasing. I was drawn to this cleanser because of the inclusion of soy in the ingredients. Soy is really good for the skin and the balance of its pigment. This is a makeup removing cleanser and it's suprisingly light and rather watery for something that claims to remove makeup. It comes in a white tube you have to squeeze and when it comes to liquid cleansers, I prefer they come in a pump top bottle. The cleanser itself is completely clear. I squeezed about a quarter sized dollop into my palm and began washing my makeup laden face. I was immediately stricken by the lack of lather. The nonexistence of lather would be a better way to put it. I think I'm simply used to a cleanser lathering up, which is likely the underlying reason for my not liking this cleanser's inability to lather. It actually did a fairly good job at removing my makeup. However, I don't believe that it did anything more than that. My skin itself did not feel clean. It had simply gotten rid of my makeup. You're going to have to follow using this with your regular cleanser or soap to get your skin clean. Also the smell was bizarrely nice. I didn't know whether I liked it or not. It smells akin to the soap in dispensers in a bathroom of a really swanky bar or restaurant. That kind of bathroom soap lathers, but if it didn't, I would seriously suspect Fresh was selling it off as a "Soy Cleanser", haha.

What can I say, I hate it. Sorry to rain on the parade but it just does not work for me. When a product goes out of its way to say it will remove makeup, then guess what, I expect it to get my makeup off! But it simply doesn't. (And it's not like I wear waterproof makeup, either.) I ended up having to wash my face again with my old HG, Clinique Rinse Off Foaming Cleanser. It also has a weird, slimy texture and doesn't foam up at all, which really bugs me in a cleanser, unless the cleanser is an oil, which of course you would not expect to lather.
I'm glad I bought the ten dollar size. I'll use it up on days when I don't have makeup to remove, just daily grime. Hopefully it can at least handle that. Needless to say, no way will I repurchase.

This really takes off a lot of my residual eye make up that is left behind from liquid removers...
My face always feels fresh and "happy" after I use this stuff. Really happy with this product, although the texture is a bit odd. LOL.

I have very oily skin and most cleansers for my skin type either dry it out (resulting in more oil production) or leave it feeling still dirty. This cleanser is the first that I've tried that I loved the feeling of my skin afterwards. And several hours afterwards. I liked the fresh cucumber smell but I could see how others might not. It is pretty pricey and like a pp said, it doesn't go far. I went though the small tube in less than a month.

My skin is super oily, yet sensitive, so anything too harsh just makes it put out three times the oil and shine. Face washes for oily skin leave me red and irritated, followed by super oily within the hour. Face washes for sensitive skin leave me with clogged pores, acne, and don't seem to remove makeup. This is absolutely perfect and does everything I want it to. I've used it for over a year and LOVE it

This is a wonderful facial cleanser/make-up remover combo. The scent is unique and refreshing - it smells kind of like fresh plants. My only complaint is that I find you have to use a relatively large amount to cover your face - the product doesn't stretch. I bought the $10 tube 2.5 weeks ago and it's almost gone, so I would recommend that anyone who wants to purchase this to invest in the larger tube. Overall, a great choice of cleansers.

This is the face wash I have been searching for my whole life. My skin is so oily that I can't tolerate any moisturizer, so I need a face wash that doesn't irritate or strip moisture away yet still cleans thoroughly. It removes makeup so well. I haven't noticed any smell in particular, and I love the texture and the way it lathers. Amazing
