This scent is dark and sharp, but mellows to a woodsy, leathery finish. It's not particularly unique or wearable, and on top of that it doesn't last very long. I purchased this as part of a set, and this is my least favorite.

dark, mossy,leathery on me, no sweetness not sure if there's supposed to be any, but it coudl used some. kinda bitter on my skin.

The opening of Kink is ghastly - conjures up visions of torture chambers. It took guts to leave it on. However, similar to one of the SIP scents this off putting opening mellowed and Kink became a scent I initially found tolerable and then actually found to be extremely attractive and interesting. The Beautyhabit site describes this as being, in part at least, a leather and tobacco scent. I'm getting a light, powdery leather feel, but no tobacco. They do say that these scents will be different on everyone who tries them. I envy the person who will be getting the tobacco. However, I'm feeling happily compensated by the woodsy vetiver, the slight zing of the black pepper, the soft lotus and the beautiful, sweet, incensey resinous base from the elemi. The lasting power is my one major complaint - definitely not awe inspiring.
