I have used this remover for years and I do like it very much! I use the clear version of pure acetone because I love the sparkle polishes and this stuff is great at removing it faster than any of the others I have tried. I always use a base coat, 2 or 3 coats of polish and a good top coat. Sometimes it takes a while to get it off but when I use this remover it comes off faster. I always wash my hands afterwards and then start with a good mineral & vitamin base coat. I can imagine that if you have very thin nails this remover could be harsh for them but my nails are so thick and hard, I have had little or no problems such as some reviewers have mentioned. I find for the money this remover is the better deal. I buy the large bottle and it does last me about 2 or 3 months but I do my nails 2 or 3 times a week if I am in the mood for a different color. The only thing I would change about this remover is the lid on the bottle. I think a flip cap would be better for applying to my cotton balls with less waste from getting too much on the balls sometimes. Other than that, I hope the formula remains the same! Works best, great value!

I use the pure acetone version of this, and let me tell you as a fan of glitter and sparkle on nails, NOTHING I have ever used removes glitter from your nails better than this. Phenomenal. I just soak a cotton ball with it and press to my nail for a few seconds, and swipe, off it all comes. No scrubbing required! I always wash my hands and nails and moisturize both after use. I think it's a good idea to let your nails "rest" for a day or so after removing polish. Great stuff, I will absolutely re-buy when I run out. Which won't be for a while, since the bottle is huge!

I finished a bottle of this and overall I felt it was good, but won't repurchase. I found it didn't preform any better then less expensive brands I have tried and enjoyed over the years, such as Sally Hansen and Equate (Walmart's brand).

This is good if you want to quickly remove your nail polish, but it's probably good not to use this longterm because it can be a bit drying to your nails as it is a pure acetone product. Nonetheless, it zooms through thick layers of nail polish and can be used to create french manicures and designs because of its contents.

Just finished up my first bottle of this stuff. I had the moisturizing formula (purple) and I have to say it's the best nail polish remover i've tried (at least for the price, i haven't tried any myself but i imagine the expensive zoya or opi removers might be better but who really knows). It certainly beats the no name brands and sally hansen. It removes polish easily and quickly, and much faster than the sally hansen removers. If you used a cream (no glitter color), two dampened cotton pads would do thhe trick. Three for shimmery polishes and five or so for really glittery polishes. The value is amazing, the bottle lasted me a year!
I'm so impressed with the quality, i'm going back to repurchase. I'm getting the pink one this time to try something new and the pure acetone one for glitter polishes. I'll update when i've tried those

I've used the purple type as well as the 100% pure acetone version and they both work really well. They quickly and effortlessly remove your nail polish. Although I do recommend using a good nail moisturiser between manicures since the acetone dries out the nails quite a bit.

This did not work for me at all. Took forever to get my polish off. I prefer acetone from Sally's so I don't have to scrub or dry out my nails by having remover on them longer than I have to.

I was so surprised to find that this product had such great reviews! This nail polish remover did not work well for me at all:( it did not remove my nail polish well, even after scrubbing on my nails for a really lomg time! I also didnt care for the smell at all. The only good thing about this product is that it was only $3 at my walmart.

I love this polish remover! <3

I have used it in both the Moisturizing and Salon variaties. Now, I didn't buy this expecting it to smell like lavendar or strawberry, so it wasn't a huge shock to me that it didn't. The moisturizing kind is purple, and is labeled for natural nails with a lavendar scent. The salon kind is pink and also for naturals, but with a strawberry scent. I liked them both! The salon however, is a bit drying, but then I do my nails very frequently. I have to say I prefer the moisturizing formula over the salon, but both were fabulous! The salon removed glitter and got polish out of the edges of my nails better, however.

They were very cheap ($3 at Walmart for a 16 oz bottle - huge!), and it doesn't hurt that they look so cute with the colors. =) Go try them, you'll be happy!

I picked this up at Walmart for under $4. It's the Strawberry scented remover in the Twist & Lock Pump. I didn't notice any strawberry scent, but that doesn't matter to me. The remover itself works just fine no complaints. BUT OMG i love the twist & lock pump. it works very well. Even better when I use up the remover that's in there I can very easily refill it. that's what sold me actually was the pump. woo hoo.

I bought the Onyx Professional Nail Polish Remover (16 FL OZ) in the Strawberry Scent. ♥

• I know others have said that they can't pick up any strawberry scent but mine absolutely leaves behind a scent of strawberries after I remove my polish. It is quite lovely!
• Packaging is just fine, and the price is wonderful for such a giant bottle of polish remover! I have tried other more expensive brands of remover and this one is comparable if not better, I am always pleased. It removes glitter well.
• Five lippies from me, as the cheap price, pleasant smell, and it being so easy to find & purchase make it a winner in my book.
• I will and have already repurchased for the above reasons.

got this in the strawberry scent (which doesnt even REMOTELY smell like strawberries)....extremely cheap for such a huge bottle...not the best polish remover ive used, but its not exactly the worst either...it took off my nail polish, but not as quick as the pink one at sally's...good to use if u need to soak the neck of the nail polish when it gets stuck....total steal!!

I have this in the Lavender scent. Bought it at Walmart.

PROS: Does a fantastic job of removing nailpolish! Doesn't smell that bad for a nail polish remover. Inexpensive ($2.50 for a large bottle).

CONS: None!

This is the best n/p remover I've ever purchased and will definitely be repurchasing.

I purchased this nail polish remover "For Natural Nails" in the strawberry scent. I actually really, really like this remover, although I can't smell the strawberry scent at all. It is a salon formula and takes off my nail polish really well, even with Seche Vite topcoat on it. It's very affordable too.

I don't like this one in Salon Formula. I like Sally Hansen better. Onyx is cheap but is full acetone. You should use acetone-free/alcohol free remover.
This one dries out my nail and fingers making my nails brittle peeling off in layers. No, I don't change nail polish every day but every 4-5 days.
I was a not a nail polish fan until recently when I feel for some intersting colors. So until then I never used this remover for more than once a month or two. And I failed to know the drying properties of this one! I hate the packaging of most removers. They just have a single cap and no protective cap in between. This makes the remover dry out soon or allows it to leak if laid down or makes it come out a lot more than you need.

This is a very good remover. It does what it is supposed to which is remove nail polish very quickly. This is not 100% acetone, so it is not as harsh as the regular Onyx Acetone. Though I don't know what is up with the colored ones, my pink one is supposed to smell like strawberry? Not even close, but that's okay it's very pretty and pink!

I use the purple bottle. "Moisturizing Formula". It takes a bit of pressure to get dark nailpolishes off but its definitely worth it. I used a nonbrand 100% acetone before this one and it left my nails/cuticles completely dry and horrible. This one is keeps my nails/cuticles soft and moisturized. Definitely worth it! :)
