I absolutely fell in love with this mascara and was heartbroken when Max Factor discontinued sales in the US. I am still holding on to the little bit that I have left. It is rich, full, separated, and doesn't dry my lashes. It does not smear of flake. I was using the Cover Girl version of this before discovering this product. I would go back to CG but I liked this one so much better. I just hope I can still order online, even if it will cost me more in shipping charges.

This was great while it lasted...nice lashes that didn't clump, flake or smear and washed off easily! Now that they have been discontinued in the U.S., I've switched to Cover Girl as their website recommends. Lash Blast or Volume Exact are pretty good comparatively to this.

I was hesitant to buy this after all the negative flaking reviews, but honestly the flaking issue is only noticable after 10 hours. I REALLY like this mascara ! it separates so well i hardly need to use a separator, and it lengthens quite noticably. I only swipe a little bit on too, im sure if i went all out they'd be nuts. Too bad this is obselete !picked it up last minute ,and i have no regrets.

This mascara was great! It separated my lashes perfectly and the wand was strong and did not bend. I used this mascara for about 2yrs (give or take) and I recommended it to all of my friends. The waterproof formula was amazing! Unfortunately it is discontinued! This held up for me all day, gave me volume length and everything. Amazing product.

As a youngin' I wasn't obsessed with any product like I was with mascaras. Whilst my counterparts were glossing their teeth with the sparkliest, pink glosses and my metalheads were lining their lids with the most deadly, intense eyeliners, I remained a billboard for a new mascara every weekend. I was so focused on finding the answer! Back then, I didn't have MUA to tell me the good and bad, just the sales ladies and the commercials/advertisements. (oh me and oh my) I wasted so much money on worthless mascaras, and that's saying a lot because I already had a lush set of lashes. I held each one to the highest standard. From high end to low end, this stood the test of time. Interestingly enough, both of my favorites are very cheap. A pleasant surprise might I add realizing that this lifetime longing toward the thickest, longest, most illustrious lashes was not only affordable and accessible, but possible!
The yellow bristles brush is eye candy to the first time buyer, as is the price tag.
But perhaps, nothing speaks more voluminously as the quality. Unlike Rimmel's big fat red tubed one, this one doesn't clump ever, and is a very convenient go-to.
I use this often when I'm vying for the down-to-earth, girl-next-door type of vibe. Very natural looking, yet exceedingly flattering. You have nothing to lose by trying this.

I was pleasantly surprised with this one. I'd never used Max Factor before, and was in desperate need of a mascara to hold me over until I could buy a "proper" one. This was 50% off at CVS so I thought, eh, what the hell.
My lashes are already really curly and thick and long, but this mascara made them even more so. I love the brush head...it's not a comb, but it's not a brush...it's really soft, flexible plastic bristles that separate and coat each lash. I've worn it all day today and I haven't experienced flaking, smearing, or smudging, which is wonderful, since that's the number 1 problem I've had with almost every mascara I've ever used. Definitely going back to CVS to pick up a few more, since I hear they're discontinuing this one. And I'm happy I don't have to go mascara hunting too! :)

Why or Why didnt I try this sooner? I have tried sooooo many mascaras from HE to LE . I happened to be walking around my local Duane Reade and stumbled across the Max Factor clearance display. I saw this picked it up at 1/2 price and am in love with this mascara. I havent tried the ,mascara on its own. I always use a primer on my lashes and this works so well with it. This mascara give sme thick long lashes, I kid you not I hit every single Duane Reade in my neighborhood plus the ones around my job in midtown manhattan and they were all sold out. I was lucky enough to find a stray Volume Couture and 2000 Calories (with the curved brush) and it works beautifully too. So sorry I didnt try MAX Factor sooner, Its like the old saying goes, you dont know what you have untill its gone ;( If anyone knows of anything comparable please let me know.

I'm so sad that it was discontinued in the US! This is my favorite mascara -- I love the wand. The black is inky, it doesn't clump, and it's so buildable. I don't really love any other mascara right now, so I'm not sure what I'll try next (and I'm open to suggestions).

Max Factor Lash Perfection is perfect! I adore this mascara. It makes my lashes long, black and no clumps. I've tried them all. From Dior to Rimmel. This one is the best everyday mascara I have come across. It doesn't smudge or flake. But somehow it comes off easily when I wash my face.

Good mascara - one of my favorites right now. To me, the results are very similar to Cover girl exact lash mascara. I actually like the wand on this one better than the Cover Girl one because it is smaller.
If this line wasn't discontinued in the US, then I would repurchase this mascara.

This is my everyday mascara because it goes on lightweight and it doesn't smudge or clump my lashes like the volume couture version. It stays all day without smearing and giving me raccoon eyes like some other mascaras. I also use it on my brows to darken them before i go over it with powder. If you want an everyday daytime mascara then look no further but I wouldn't recommend this if you're looking for dramatic bold lash look cause this won't give you that.

I will not be buying this product again. It doesn't show up blue as it is supposed to (Royal Blue). The wand is so cheap it is pathetic. I took it out of the box for the first time and the wand was already bent and about to break. I had to take extra care so I could at least have something to use to put this stuff on. It doesn't thicken, lengthen or even show up that great. Maybelline's Great Lash Blue worked better than this. Cheap, cheap product.

This mascara is affordable and lengthens my lashes but it gives me no volume whatsoever and it clumps, making my lashes look spidery

I love this mascara for everyday uses. It really helps define and lengthen your lashes. It gives my lashes great seperation. It never clumps or flakes. It holds my curls well and it doens't give me that crunchy lash feeling. Another thing I love about this mascara is that it takes no time to remove. Some warm water can easily take this mascara off, so I guess this is not very friendly to people that have to work in humid/wet environment.
However, I would not recommend this for people that like the dramatic look. It gives a more subtle effect in comparasion to mascaras like LashBlast.

The best inexpensive mascara ever!! I've used Lancome Definicil and it's the best but it's get quite expensive when they dry out after two months. This is just as good as Lancome but better price. It stays on all day, no smudging, no clumping. It makes my lashes look darker and longer. I love it and wish CVS/Walgreens have them because for now, I can only order them online. I don't live near a walmart or target.

THIS is the best mascara I have ever had.
It stays in good condition for whole day and easy to remove with just warm water.
I have try many expensive mascara before I got this one, and all those expensive ones works no better than this max factor one which just cost me around $8.

This product is really good in the beginning and separates perfectly, but after three or four uses it starts to get clumpy on my lashes. Not only that but it seems to flake off and I have very sensitive eyes and found myself rubbing at my eyes. It also doesn't seem to hold curl very well.
I really do like the brush part of it though, its tiny end makes it easier to apply mascara to the inner corner.

The name implies far more than what this product delivered to me. In defense this dries quickly, very black, separates, removes easily (cries off in a pinch) and is inexpensive. What I don't like is that it took me at least 4 applications to achieve the look I wanted, which is fuller lengthened lashes. I anticipate blowing through this twice as fast for that reason alone. No lenghtening occurred here and at the end of the day a few very small mascara remnants graced my under eye area. I don't dislike the brush but think the design error is that it doesn't hold enough mascara to adequately coat the lash at a given application and is only concerned with not creating clumps on the lash, very noble. More thought went into the packaging design than product performance and for the heft of the mascara there really isn't much product contained. I store mine upside down, as I do all my mascara's, so I get every last bit. For a d/s mascara I prefer L'Oreal Telescopic non waterproof. Would purchase again if any lengthening had occurred.

I'm on the fence with this mascara. I don't think there is anything wrong with the mascara itself but the thing about it I really don't like is the brush. It has tiny bristles that are too short so the mascara tends to clump a lot when it's applied. I'm just not crazy about this one and don't think I'd use it again.

This is my favorite mascara. I have not tried another since I began using this a couple of years ago. This gives me long, smooth lashes. It wears well, but washes off easily at the end of the day. Great product.
