Very elegant colour. Good for work/studies. Takes about a week to start chipping (which is pretty good i reckon). Smooth application and good formula. No problems with it whatsoever. Could wear it all year long.

I gave it a 4 because after only a couple of days, it's chipping. Plus, I got it professionally done at a salon and chipping soooo....
but anyway, I actually adore this colour. I picked it on a whim at the salon and love it. Think I'll buy a bottle now if I can find it.
It's a great neutral that is not overly shimmery. The light catches it and makes it look gorgeous. I'm Nc15-20 for reference. I think this colour would look amazing on all skin tones.

I have over 60 bottle of OPI. And this is in my top 5 without a doubt. It looks really polished and great albeit sheer'ish at one coat and is almost completely opaque at two. Dries quickly and applies flawlessly. I love it and have received a lot of compliments on it. It suits my dark olive skin tone really well.

This is such a beautiful color! It is a light, pale champagne-gold color with a bit of shimmer. The shimmer is not too obvious, immature or childish at all. Two coats of this polish and it is very opaque. I hate polishes that require a million coats to look opaque *cough*ChinaGlaze*cough*. Although you can still see a bit of your fingernail line underneath it, it is not obvious at all and you really have to look hard to see it. The polish is not streaky at all and lasts for days without any chipping. OPI really is amazing! I bought this nailpolish to wear for my graduation pictures. The color looks really classy and I think wearing a coat of this would be appropriate even for work.

Up Front and Personal is an understated pale and shimmery champagne polish with gold-silver microglitter. I'm wearing one coat and this is perfect for me. Any more than that and I think it would be too blingy for every day wear. As others have said, Up Front & Personal is the same finish as Happy Anniversary and Princesses Rule, so if you don't like a lot of shimmer, this may not be for you.

This is my favourite polish of the whole OPI range. It looks beautiful! I can combine this colour with every outfit I'm wearing, I get a lot of compliments on it. I always apply 2 coats, you can also use it over another colour. It's a little bit sheer bit but it doesn't bother me, it's ment to be like that. It dries up pretty fast, the only bad thing about me is that I always scratch my nailpolish off after a day (It's some kind of bad habit I can't seem to stop!) so I have no idea after how many days it chips.

I got this in a swap but would have bought it myself sooner or later since it is such a pretty shade. As other reviewers have said before, it is sheer, you will most likely have visible nail line but imo the shade makes up for these minor flaws. It's a light light gold with silver shimmer which gives this polish a lovely color ambivalence of pale gold and soft silver-ish white. The way it sparkles on the nails reminds me of China Glaze "Frosty" and "White Cap". Love it!

I love this color! Surprised at the number of negative reviews. Yes, it is sheer, and yes, you will see your nail line. But it is such a pretty, shimmery, light gold with fine glitter, that is amazingly, mostly-work appropriate! If you have OPI's Princesses Rule, well, this is like the light gold cousin. I wanted to upload a picture, but found that no pictures do it justice. I agree that if you are looking for an opaque/ buildable gold you should look elsewhere (e.g. OPI Glitzerland). But otherwise, get it! You won't regret it =P

I got this after so many reviews and video review. I tried it at the store and it was so nice, lots of shimmer, and the color was very light bronze/golden. I love it, its amazing color, something really unique. I wear either one coat or two, both ways looks good and does not chip that fast as some other OPI colors. I also wear it over brighter color, like pink one "Italian Love Affair", for example, apply this on top and gives new beautiful shade! It's really amazing color, I wear just as is or on top of another. And add some glossy top coat - it will be super perfect.

It is a champagne with a very rich and notice shimmery.
It looks like gold in the bottle but it's not totally gold when you apply to nail.
It just looks like a transparent with rich of shimmer.
You'll need 3 coats to get the color bottle. I told you it's very transparent color rich of shimmery and glitter.
It's perfect for party but it's not suitable for my Asian skin tone.
I usually mix this with navy shatter.
It's just stands out the navy shatter!

i received this as a gift and it totally took me by surprise i did not think i would like this polish but it is amazing, while it would certainly look better with medium or tan skin i like to think i can still pull it off. this polish has an amazing amount of shimmer i wear this over one coat of coney island cotton candy and it had great opacity for me, i only need one coat. wore this shade during the christmas time and it gives me fond memories when i wear it now.

This color is a cool gold/champagne shimmer. You need 3 and more coats to full coverage or you can use it as a top coat over some creamies. I think it's a nice neutral color, appropriate for work/school, but I won't repurchase.

This is a pretty champagne/gold/silver sparkle polish with a clear base. Sometimes if I'm just looking to add a bit of shine and sparkle to my nails I'll just use one coat with a clear topcoat. It does chip easily however.

I agree with many of the other reviewers here....if you are looking for an opaque golden hued nail polish, this is not it. Up Front & Personal is very sheer, and with two coats of polish, I can still see my natural nail line underneath. Now, if you look at the polish in the bottle, it appears to have a more opaque finish to it, but it doesn't. I'm sure if you applied 3 or 4 coats of polish, you could get a more opaque look, but that seems like quite a bit of work. Personally, I really like the sheerness of UFAP. In direct light, it's a neutral champagne color with a beautiful sparkly effect. In indirect light, it looks a bit pearlescent on me. I actually purchased this for a party I am going to in Vegas, and I feel that it has just the right amount of drama for me (I don't like the vampy or darker polishes.) As far as staying power, I applied a top coat, and my polish lasted for about 4-5 days which is fine with me. So, overall, I am very pleased with this color and am even wearing it to work now.

This is the gold version of "Princesses Rule!" It is a clear base with gold and silver, slightly irridescent, microglitter. It is not a garish tone of gold; more of a true champagne gold. This is a great layering nail polish over other colors, or just on it's own. This has a bit less durability than a non-glittered nail polish, however. Because I am cool-toned, I prefer the pink/silver coloration of "Princesses Rule!" to this, but this is now a staple in my polish wardrobe. Will repurchase if it is still available when I run out.

UFAP is a very pretty microglitter silver/gold platinum sheer shade (yeah, that's a mouthful)...It's really very sheer and I usually apply 3 coats when I wear it. But the glitter is very pretty, not garish at all, and this is a nice break from the vampy colors I tend to wear. I don't like the staying power on this so much...I usually have to touch up after four days on this one. I don't have that problem with Dazzle Me, which in my opinion is UFAP's blue/green cousin. This is nice to have in the rotation, though...

A sheer, sparkling champagne color, Up Font & Personal is nice over a french mani for a sparkly finish or wih three-four coats is opaque and pretty for longer nails.
i got mine at Trade Secret for $7.50 and considered taking it back because sheer colors irritate me ( i dont have TIME to do fifteen coats to achieve an opaque look.) I decided to keep it though because im a sucker for sparkle. The best thing about this is that when it starts to chip and wear away, it wont be so noticeable!

LUV! Up Front and Personal is an uber sheer platinum gold (silvery cool gold, not "yellow") micro glitter. It leaves your nails glistening, as opposed to in your face-type glitter. I find this shade to be the perfect understatedly elegant gold np shade for my special occasion wear. It's very similar to my all time favorite OPI nail color: Society Island Sterling Silver, as well as similar to OPI Happy Anniversary (the difference being that SISS was more of a shimmer vs micro glitter. UFaP has a bit more grainy/gritty shimmer in comparison. HA is also an uber sheer silver, but the micro glitter is almost identical in type. If you are looking for a sheer shimmery wash of cool gold np, you will definitely want Up Front & Personal!! No doubt that this polish will make a great topcoat over other shades, but I much prefer it alone, and with just 1 coat application. It's just gorgeous.

Up Front and Personal looks so lovely in the bottle, just like liquid gold. Which is why I had to purchase it. Unfortunately there's no gold visible once it's on your nails. The glitter particles are silver and that wonderful beige/golden colour which carries them is 100% transparent and not noticeable at all. Up Front and Personal looks like pure glitter on my nails. I tried it over my white nail-polish in order to bring out the gold, but it didn’t really work. I don't hate it, but I've seen too many 8 y old girls wearing similar glitter-based nail polishes and I just can't take this seriously. I won't repurchase.

I love to layer this over Essie Naked Truth or Sugar Daddy to make it more spectacular, and it gives a higher shine factor too. Or when I want it more understated, I like to do one thin layer of Naked Truth, one thin layer of Up Front and Personal, then one thin layer again of maked Truth, and followed by Poshe Topcoat. I love neutral understated nails with a kick. UF&P gives my manicure that extra kick! I love that it's more gold and not so silvery.
