A very wearable palette. The colors are sheer and somewhat buildable. No matter how much you put on, it won't look extremely pigmented though. I like it for work and a simple day time look. The staying power is average even with a primer. It faded over a 12 hour shift without touch up, but that's understandable. The Milani quads have very nice color combinations, will buy other color quads.

Pretty shades, but the staying power is terrible, even over UDPP.

I loved this quad! I wore this one daily for the longest time. They apply nicely and last pretty good thru the day.

This is a great quad. It always makes me look fabulous. I tend to either pick the pink or the shimmery peach as a base, and then use the matte taupe and the shimmery brown with the base color. Excellent quality shadows, blendable and buildable.

Only buy this if you dont want to look like you are wearing eyeshadow.
The two matte shades, a light light pink and light brown, basically just even out the tone on the eyelid, and add a little color, and they do look nice, but I like my eyeshadow to be visible. The two shimmery colors, a light peachy highlighter and a dark peachy brown are pretty but SHEER.
This quad is nice for what it is, but I don't especially like it. I'll keep it around if I even want to look boring but pretty.

I love Milani quads because they're always full of no brainer complimentary colors. I own more than enough eyeshadows but I seem to always pick up Milani due to the cheap price, convenience, and quality expected. I seriously had to search for this quad because Milani always seems to be sold out where I'm from (NYC). I wanted something simple and fresh for my busy mornings without excessive shimmer or having to dig around my giant palettes. While this quad isn't anything particularly too unique, it's a gem for $5-$6 because this something I can pick up in the morning and an apply quickly or throw in my purse.
I like matte eyeshadows a lot for a polish look so I'm in favor of the 2 matte shadows in this quad, the cool pink and taupe. The frosty pink and brown are very nice too to mix it up for an ultra girly look. I was afraid the shades in this quad might have been repeats of single milani eyeshadows but so far it might be a bit similar to some single shadows of theirs but not quite! So pink this up especially if you want a fresh, clean, and/or work friendly quad for a great deal. NC15, Asian with neutral undertones for reference.

I prefer the two darker shades in this palette for myself(DDD NC50 or HIP820). However, used all four today on TV show and photo shoot(model/actress NC35 or Black Opal 'Heavenly Honey'). Gorgeous, romantic, matte pale pink. Paired with Milani 'Moon Over Paradise' matte l/s, chestnut colored lipliner, WetNWild 'Bali Bronze' as highlight, and WetNWild 'Medium/Dark' Bronzer as contour. *****4/29/08 UPDATE:***** Mostly using Milani singles and NYX e/s on me & my clients. Will not repurchase.

This is just ok, and nothing as spectacular as many of the reviews describe. Don't get me wrong, the colors in this quad are complimentary, and are appropriate for a neutral eye look. I just wasn't that impressed with the actual quality of the shadows; they don't seem to last that long, and the brown colors seem to have a peachy undertone. I also thought the applicator sponge was rather flimsy, as it seems to be falling apart after just a few applications. I paid 5 dollars, so for such a small investment, this eyeshadow quad is decent overall. This is not a bad product, but not a great one either. It's a safe bet if you're interested in trying.

I bought this last summer based on reviews because I like a neutral eye. I'm glad this works for so many, but on me all of the colors looked chalky exept for the brownish-sparkly one. I was dissapointed so I tossed it.

Great eye shadow quad for my NC35 Asian skin. I do admit that I tend to use the dark brown bronze and brown more often than the pinks. This is my 1st Milani purchase and I'm impressed!!

I bought this based on reviews and am not disappointed. This basic neutral brown/bronze/gold/pink quad is perfect for every day use, and the quality and staying power (like every Milani I've tried) is so impressive I've been swapping out all my shadows, even my MACs! Between this and Wild Violets, I have every color I'll ever need. And who can complain about the price??

Great for creating a very pretty, everyday look. For reference, I'm asian with a golden tan skint one. It works perfectly as an everyday shadow if you use a light hand and I'm sure it'd be great for evening look as well. The deep bronze color is very pretty and all the colors coordinate really well. I almost never use all the colors in a eye makeup set at the same time, but I actually do that with this one and it just looks very natural and pretty.

I bought these eyeshadows based on the reviews, and the quality is impressive, but the color isn't; they're an everyday, warm neutral. These colors look orangey on my lids (except the pink) because I'm too cool-toned, but I can see how they can work well on warm-toned complexions. This is going back to CVS.

I LOVE this quad. It has all the right basic colors for me for any time. While I of course love variety, if i ever have to go out of town, this quad has it all for day looks and evening. work and play. I use all of the shadows mixed with my h/e products. but when in a hurry, i often just reach for this quad for a fool-proof polished eye. i would and will buy this again. although, i do kind of wish milani wuld make their packaging a little nicer.

I love this quad. It never fails to give me a subdued yet polished and pretty look, perfect for professional settings. This is my go-to quad for work! Plus, I've heard it's a dupe of the Clinique Pink Chocolates quad. The price is great and the packaging is sturdy and easy to open. Would definitely repurchase this over and over again!

Pretty and subtle shades in the brown and pink/natural family. Perfect for work. I love this and my 4 or 5 other Milani quads for their pigmentation, gorgeous colors, staying power. I only wish they made more Quads....

I really like these shadows. I am new to Milani; for the past several years I have pretty much been using MAC and Stila shadows exclusively. I have to say the Milani shadows are pretty much as good as the high-end brands. They have lasted all day on me with no creasing. The colors are smooth and blend well. The shades are pretty, wearable, and complement each other very well. I've been using the matte peach as a wash, sometimes adding the taupe in the outer 3rd or if I feel like it, the darkest shade to line. The frosty shade is a good highlighter and hasn't migrated all over the place like some cheaper shadows.
Overall I am very impressed. I gave it a 5 because I really can't tell much of a difference from the high end shadows I own. Stila may be a bit more sheer but that's not always a good thing. The packaging is OK for a drugstore brand. For the price you certainly can't beat it. It's almost dirt-cheap (W&W being truly dirt cheap, so I gave this a 2 for price). I would recommend these to anyone. It's a great feeling to splurge on some new colors and not break the bank!

The dark brown shade in this quad makes such a sexy neutral smokey eye. I messily lined under my eyes with it the other day and stood back and looked at myself and thought: mmmmMMMMM, but you look GOOD! So cheap and the colors are very rich looking. Great buy!

my first review! Never tried Milani before I started lurking here about a month ago, but I'm glad I did! I got several of the single pots, a couple of Luminous blushes & this quad because I'm going through a pink/purple phase with my e/s. I use the matte pink all over lid, the shimmery light shade as a browbone & corner highlight, the taupe on the outher third & the dark brown as a liner. Can't believe how well these shadows go on & stay for a d/s brand!
