This is my first experience with Milani shadows and I got it cuz it was like 75% off.
Wow it's great. The colors are kind of more reddish toned/brown (especially the last 'crease' color)
The feel on these shadows are really different from most I've tried. It feels really SILKY seriously! It feels really soft and it's not chalky at all for me. Blends really well and it's just great for a neutral look. I really love this!

i've had this quad for years, and its still is my go to product for an easy eye combo. i take it everywhere, including on vacation. the packaging is a little cheap(my mirror fell off a long time ago), and its pointless to use the little brush/sponge applicator that come with it, but the eyeshadows themselves are great. i'd recommend everyone trying out this quad.

This Milani quad is great for making every day looks.

There are four shadows: a shimmery dark reddish brown, an almost matte medium brown, a shimmery light copper, and a shimmery yellow highlight. The shadows are very smooth and blend easily. They are not heavily pigmented though, so its difficult to create a dramatic look. These four shadows work very well together to create a nice neutral eye look.

The packaging is standard, but sturdy. No mirror and the applicator is worthless (sponge on one end, brush on the other)
Overall I'd recommend and I'd buy again.

Great set of eyeshadows. Highly pigmented. This was on clearance at cvs so I could not pass it up. The reviewers before me did a good job of explaining the colors. These are comparable to HE brands...put this in a pricey container, and it would sell for much more. I think the whole Milani line is superior.

WOW! This is on clearance at CVS 75% off. I'm assuming it's being discontinued. I passed it up once, then went back for it. I knew I was risking it. It could have been a frosty mess. But it's much better than that. Lovely for a warmer neutral eye. There is one matte color (the brown), a copper with some shimmer, a peachy pink with some shimmer, and a pale yellow with some shimmer. The quality isn't amazing but it's way better than I expected... and much better than the e/s I've tried in other brands at the drugstore.

This is really a great quad! I've actually considered buying it for about 3 years now, but always put it down because I suspected that it would be too frosty, and the darkest color would be too warm and orangy. Surprisingly, this goes on really beautifully with very little fallout, and the finished effect is very soft, flattering, and just downright pretty :) The two colors I thought I would like the least, the shimmery peach and the rusty brown, are actually really gorgeous once applied! There is also a shimmery golden highlight shade, and a medium matte tannish brown. And for $1.75, I can honestly say I'm very happy to have added this to my collection.

CVS has this palette on sale at 75% off right now. I only bought it because it was $1.99, but I'm glad I did cause it is really pretty. I do love the earthy tones. The colors are rich and the texture is smooth.
It is a great purchase.

I use this quad practically every day. The matte brown shade is great for the crease, as well as the burgundy brown color. I use all shades on my lid as well. When I use it with UDPP, lasts all day :) Definitely would repurchase.

Even though the shades make my cool-toned complexion look sickly, I'm still giving it a 5 for quality. The quad has a white-gold highlighter shade, a shimmery bronze, a matte taupe, and a shimmery burgundy brown. The shimmer in those 3 shades is very subtle and I find them pretty wearable. I am very impressed with the pigmentation and longevity of these shadows. I will absolutely be checking out other (cool-toned!) quads.

I do use the matte brown both to fill in and soften my brows and as a regular eyeshadow as it's pretty neutral and doesn't wash my out. Does anyone know what a similar shade by Mac or any other brand would be?

I brought my quad at CVS. You get four colors a soft pink, a cream, a burgandy and a highlight. Except for the lightest color if your NC50 the colors show up beautifully. I have severe discoloration on my lids and without a base colors showed up. I didn't pay attentionto how long the color lasted on my lids so I can't speak to that. I won't repurchase because I'm trying to build a MAC collection.

I just bought this today and I didn't expect to like it as much as I do! The colors come out on my skin beautifully.. and they are shimmery but not over the top. I think this can be perfect for an everyday look. I gave it a 4 because I just put it on, and I'm not sure how much staying power it has yet. Also, the case isn't that cute.. but i like the two sided brush! Deff worth the 6 bucks!

I, like many others, have become very fond of Milani eye shadows because of their great colors & great quality. Here is how I describe the colors (because I wouldn’t describe them the same as the previous reviewer) There is a frosty cream/off white, an almost matte medium brown (there is a hint of barely there shimmer) a peachy-pink frost and a shimmery burgundy/brown. This has been sitting in my stash for some time unused, I was getting ready t swap it, until, on a whim, I used it today for the first time in a while. I like to call this my “Bright Eyes” look. Like others stated, it really brightens up the eye, without being overly dramatic. Here is how I wore it today, and I am VERY pleased: Peach on the lid to crease (bottom left), matte brown in crease (top right) cream to highlight brow bone and inner corners (top left), and the burgundy (bottom right) smudged into eyeliner and accented at outer corners. Then, of course, blend it all together and load on the mascara. Beautiful every day look. I have made this work for more dramatic looks also, so it is also versatile. They are easy to blend, easy to build. For this reason I would recommend this, especially if you are a person who likes to keep a smaller m/u stash, of if you need an on-the-go kit, or if you just love eye shadow. Also, the packing is durable, and has been able to withstand my abuse, without being too bulky or butt-ugly. The gold packing actually makes it seem a little classy.

This caught my eye as DS cosmetics are getting ridiculously expensive. Milani eyeshadow quad for under 7 bucks? I've seen some good reviews for them, the packaging looked good, and the colors looked beautiful. You get a matte dark brown, a shimmery rose, a shimmery light burgundy, and a shimmery cream. Colors actually come off well on my tan skin; this never happens for me :o) Staying power isn't amazing but is pretty good; and for a DS, cheaper-than-L'oreal-and-Revlon-cosmetic, I am pretty satisfied. Gold-beige packaging looks chic and it comes with a two-headed brush; one head is an eyeshadow sponge thingy, and the other is an eyeshadow BRUSH. Very handy.

This is one of my favourite Milani quads. It was the first I bought and still remains a favourite. I don't know if my quad is particularly different but it has 3 shimmery/frosty shades and only one matte (the light brown). The gold/cream colour is gorgeous as a wash. It really brightens up the face. I like using this during lazy days because the shades have a very rich and warm quality about them that you can play up your eyes in a subtle way without it being too smokey or flat. It's great for anytime of the year or day. I don't find it to be too shimmery, it's just right and provides a nice sheen instead. I own a few other Milani quads which are truly too shimmery/smokey and night time only. Sedona Sunset is a great quad when I want to look more awake in the mornings :)

I already have Spice (coppery color) and Desert Sun (Shimmery champagne) as singles, but this pallet was worth it for the Almondine (Matt cream w/ slight iridescence) and my fave, the Medium taupey brown with the slightest gold luster. I never knew how some women would use just one color as a wash and be done with their e/s application. I would always have to combine my neutrals with something else to keep my eyes from looking dull. UNTIL this color! It is just pigmented enough to create a nice "my eyes but better" look by itself on my med-dark, warm skin tone. I love that this and mascara is the only eye m/u I need to lug around anymore.

Very pretty colors, can be combined in all sorts of ways with my existing shadows and liners. They are highly pigmented but VERY shimmery so I dust them down with translucent powder and that tones them down. Between the 4 colors its really the only brown e/s you would need (not saying its the only ones I own). The only reason I wont repurchase is I want something more matte.

I love all my Milani quads - great color and pigmentation. This is not my favorite one (I like Touch of Brown and Earthly Delights more, as well as Wild Violets for those whimsical moods), but this is still great. I took one lippie off b/c the colors aren't as flattering on me as Touch of Brown. But really, with its dirt-cheap price, I'd really give it 4.5 stars. My favorite shade is the apricoty-champagne one -- beautiful in the crease for a very subtle day look. Plus it's only $5 at Target!

I love this quad. The packaging sucks but for around $3 who cares? The shimmery peach is perfect for an allover wash on lids and the matte light brown is perfect for my eyebrows.

I purchased this eye shadow at my local walgreens about a year ago becuase I loved the colors and they would match perfectly with the color of my homecomming dress. I still have it today and it is my fav eyeshadow that I own. Together the colors make my blue eyes pop. Also lasts long and dosent crease.

I love this quad. A hard plastic compact with four shades: light yellow gold shimmer, matte milk chocolate brown, medium peach with a gold frost(BEAUTIFUL to highlight brow or inner corner), & dark auburn frost(similar to Spice e/s single). I have all of the singles, but happy to have the quads too. Perfect all purpose, everyday colors for me; DDD NW45 or HIP#818. Looks very pretty paired with Milani Sunset Beach Blush or Copper Sunshine Bronzer.
Highly pigmented, smooth texture. Easy to blend just like all Milani shadow. I like the color combinations. Makes it easy to coordinate. Comes with a tiny brush/sponge good for touch-ups. Will repurchase. *****4/29/08 UPDATE:***** Mostly using Milani singles and NYX e/s on me & my clients. Will not repurchase.
