I've been using this product for over 10 years now. I're repurchased a couple of times already. I'm NC30 with brown eyes and it looks a touch darker than my regular skin tone but leaves the lid appearing natural and gorgeous with a slight sheen to the skin. I love the fact that it comes in a tube (these tend to last a bit longer than the paint pots as they won't dry out as quick), that you need the tinest amount to use, and I also love that they tend to stay on the lid longer than the PP's. I have oily eyelids so longevity is key for me. The application of this paint is very easy as well - and very hygenic. I love paints in general and wish MAC would make more of these.

This was the first eyeshadow primer I ever used, and after trying others such as the much-hyped UDPP and Laura Mercier Eye Basics, I've returned to this as my HG eye primer.
.
This is unsurpassed, in my opinion, for longevity, non-creasing, superior blendability and ease of application. The packaging is my only gripe, and I had the same experience as other reviewers here: on first opening the product, I squeezed a little too hard on the tube to get it going and the air bubble pushed out about 2 weeks' worth of product into the bathroom sink, which ensured I couldn't salvage it. It lasts a moderately long time though. I also realize that the tube, which can be rolled and squeezed, is probably best for ensuring minimal wastage. This is especially good for shadows like MAC Club, which really needs a good base to show up true to colour, and to show off the beautiful multi-dimensional undertones of teal and brown and bronze. Have already repurchased and will continue to do so!

I use this in the summer to even out the color or my eyelids ( I don't use anything over it). Color payoff is is great, applies easily with my fingers and blends well. Gives a put of shine to my eye lids without being over the top and reduces the darkness of my lids. The packaging it useless. It is hard not to waste product. That being said, one tube has lasted me a very long time even though I use it almost every other day in the summer

Ok so years ago I used to use Magrittes and loved it as a paint. Then I switched to paint pots and I use groundwork every day. The only problem is that when I have an event I end up with oilier lids and the makeup gets in my crease. I tend to have oily lids, but the paint pot is fine for every day. That being said I wanted a color for either summer or when I have an event and I must say that the paint in Sublime Nature is definitely the way to go. The color is close to my natural lid and is a bit lighter than the groundwork paint pot, but does its job. I will say that when you first open the tube it can ooze because of an air bubble, but you need to squeeze from the bottom of the tube and only with minimal pressure. You don't need a lot of the product. I did put too much on and it made my eyes look aged and cakey, so keep in mind to use as little as possible and to rub it on your finger before putting it on the lid. I will repurchase.

Best primer ever! It matches my skin tone perfectly and doesn't crease. My only problem with it is that the packaging is a squeezable metal tube and even by squeezing slightly, more product than needed gushes out. I think this would be better in a plastic tube.

I love this paint!! It goes on smoothly (a little goes a long way) and the color is perfect on it's own but it's a great base too. I've been using Untitled, but wanted something a little darker. This is the perfect nude beige to look natural, but better. I've been using a lash growth product & it's irritated my lids so they're a bit discolored. I wanted a paint that I could use alone to cover the discoloration but not make me look too made up. This is the perfect product to do just that! I hope they never stop making this! Highly, highly recommended! (The only downside is the tube. You have to be so careful about gently squeezing it so you don't get too much. The first use popped out a glob that's enough for all week!)

I stumbled across MAC paints a few years ago thanks to a fellow MUAer who sent me one as a ROAK and I've had a love affair with paints ever since! Yes .. I have flirted with lots of eyeshadow bases in my quest for the perfect product .. and I still somehow always go back to paints. On my NC40 skin .. Sublime Nature is the perfect fleshy color that just blends with my skintone. It's not an exciting shade by any stretch .. it's a flesh toned light beige kind of color. Very tiny hint of shimmer that just about disappearts once applied. This is the paint that I use the most because it just works .. It doesn't compete with whatever color I wear over it, but provides the perfect foundation for powder shadow. I've gone through a couple tubes of this already .. my kit will never be without this paint! Sublime Nature is definitley my "my eyelids but better" cream shadow!!

I needed something that was lighter than groundwork without it being too white for my skintone. I can wear this on its own or as a base....usually I wear it as a base. Very creamy and easy to apply. It's a light beige flat color. The only thing that I don't like about this product is the packaging....it sucks! A couple of times, I must of pressed the tube just a little too much and a good amount of it came out. I think I dropped more than I've used......

I think I've finally found my HG paint!!! I bought this with the Dame Edna Wisteria palette to make the colors pop for my NC45 skin tone. Not only does it work well with intensifying eye shadows...it's a great all over color for days I don't have time for full makeup. Today I'm wearing Sublime Nature with the brown section of the Inter-view mineralized eye shadow and I'm loving it. I'll make sure to keep these well stocked in my kit

I've been using MAC paint in Sublime Nature for over 2 yrs now and I adore it. I love the color and that its easy to blend. I have no problem with the price since it last me about 4 months so its $16.50 for every 4 months isnt a bad deal for me espeically that I love the fact that I can use it with any eyeshadows but I mostly use it with my eyeliners. I have oily lids and I have found that even when I just put eyeliner it tends to smear a bit even the highest brand, so once I found MACs paint in Sublime Nature (nude beige) now my eyeliners look fresh all the time. The only problem I have with this product is the packaging because if you squeeze it a lil too hard it will all come out and its annoying because you cant put it back so its a waste. I tried to convert it to a container and make it look like a MAC PAINT POT but it dried out and was harder to apply. I would really love it if they would change the packaging to something that can be easier to fix if too much was taken out the container, maybe not a paintpot but maybe make it a tube with a sponge brush like a lipgloss container.

I have quite badly discoloured eyelids and struggle to find cream shadows that are the right shade for me (NC42) to use as an eye base without making my lids look either dirty or ashy. Sublime Nature is the closest I have got so far although it is still a bit too dark for me to take right up to the browbone. Like all paints, it is very creamy and easy to apply and has just enough shimmer to stop it looking flat. You also get more product for your money than you do with a paint pot. I find that paints have the edge over paint pots in terms of texture but I deducted one lipstick because this causes the tiniest bit of creasing whereas my PPs do not. I'd repurchase, although it seems like paints are being phased out so who knows if this will still be around when I run out!
Edit: the creasing I mentioned happens only without an additional primer underneath. With UDPP or something similar it is usually fine.

This is the first paint i bought and i love it. UDPP didnt work for me...i actually needed a thicker base and this works well for me. i choose it in this color because it closely matched the color of the back of my hand. (Im a medium tan color) This blends e/s a lot better than UDPP and although i dont like how it is packaged, this leaves my e/s creaseless for the whole day. i would definitely buy again!

This is the first Paint I've bought, and I absolutely love the consistency (easier to apply and blend evenly than Paint Pots, although I also love those). I have somewhat oily eyelids, so the it drys to a smooth on my eyelids, but I could see how people with dry skin don't like Paints.
I use this mainly as a neutral base for other e/s. The color is slightly darker and cooler than my skintone (NC30), but it does appear lighter when applied and it brightens up my eyes nicely. A TINY bit goes a long way. It doesn't crease at all, so I usually use this as a base during the day. On its own, it's an alright color, but I have better neutral shades. I'd repurchase this as a base, and its wonderful consistency and application makes me want to buy other Paints.

This slightly shimmery, medium beige paint is honestly one of the best things in my make-up bag. It brightens up my eyes, and, teamed with black eyeliner and mascara, it looks sleek and polished. Smooth, easy to apply (no precision instruments needed), and stays put all day. But, compared to the other paints I've tried, it's much harder to control the tube - either refusing to come out, or oozing unstoppably. Unfortunate, but I'll put up with it.

My first MAC paint and I LOVE it! I use it as a base and it gives a nice color but doesn't compete with any other shadow colors I use to layer over it. Goes well with my skin tone (NC30). I will def be buying other paint colors but this was a great starter for me. Makes my eyemakeup last much longer.

Blahh!! This is horrible! I am looking for a neutral cream shadow with no frost (52 and PPP) and this stuff is horrible and drying, frosty and does nothing for me. Please let me know if you find a matte cream shadow.

Great neutral, reads as slighty darker than my NC27 skin tone with a hint of silvery shimmer. It works well as a base, but I also like it alone as an e/s color. I can't stand the tube, though. It's hard to control the amount and it's messy. Even so, I would repurchase, but MAC might really want to consider changing the packaging...

Not bad neutral.. but not great. Not too dark, not too light, not too obvious, not chalky, not shimmery but not dull either. i'm a cool-toned CCC: NC42/45-ish or CoverFX I40/B15. But: consistency and performance is dissapointing. i end up with buildup in my eyelid crease. Makes a rather good eyeshadow or eyeliner base... but i don't plan to repurchase.
