Fantastic fragrance for the Fall/Winter seasons. Starts off sweet but dries down to warm, musky scent. This is a non-sticky or greasy body lotion, that has a thinner consistency than other BBW lotions.

Like all of the B&BW body lotions, this one strikes the right balance between being emollient but not too greasy. But I'm not enchanted by the fragrance. I've had the container for a long time and just cannot seem to finish it. It's neither brown sugar, nor is it fig. I'm not sure what it is other than very sweet and it reminds me of a fragrance that my grandmother would wear. I hate to waste things, especially a half-full container of lotion that cost $9.50. But life is too short to wear a fragrance that I don't like. Five lippies for product quality, only one for fragrance - averages to three.

This body lotion was a gift. I like the light, emmoilent feel of the lotion, but the fragrance is overly sweet for me.

I always thought that warm vanilla sugar was my favorite scent from B & BW... until I tried this scent... brown sugar and fig! My only regret is that I never gave this scent a chance before... my loss... until now!!! This scent is everything that I wanted... coconut and vanilla with a touch of sexy! It's warm but not really foody... very creamy and dreamy! It's sweet but soooo pleasant! It's definitely a sophisticated scent... I must have overlooked it because of the name... Thanks B& BW! Wish you would bring back the EDT! It's just beautiful!

I am head over heels in love with this. I am not really one for the gourmand/foody type scents, bs&f is definately a sweeter scent but it just smells warm and cozy on me and not distinctly foody. I wear this to bed right now mostly because it is so hot here right now, but I wore it during the day once and it wasn't overwhelming at all. I am going to be all over this one come fall/winter!

my friend actually gave this to me for christmas, i cannot thank her enough. it smells like coconut, a hint of brown sugar, and maybe a little bit of cinnamon. it smells delicious, and it's not overpowering. i recommend this. it's REAL moisturizing too. ahhh, delicious.my nose is stuck to my arm now. great winter scent, but also great for anytime of the year (:

This review is based on smelling it on someone else. I was at a store and something smelled wonderful at the checkout. I asked the checker if it was her that smelled so good and she told me she had just put this lotion on. It smelled great.

OH MY! Unfortunately there are NO Bath and Body work's store's around me BUT when my family takes trips down to the US I always make sure to pick up a bottle of this stuff...
Mind you, I haven't tried many fragrances from BABW but I am SO addicted to this lotion that I feel no need to try anything else!
I have gone through many phases of wearing this and only this, and then I'll give it a break, and eventually come back to it! I love it so much.
It is a great lotion and the smell is unbeatable! It's not to sweet, but smell's delicious!
I will also rub a little through my damp hair before I blow dry and it makes my hair soft and people pick up on the scent a little bit better!
All in all, this is a staple in my body products, and i recommend it to anybody and everybody!

This was another extra I received in a swap and I am absolutely in love with the fragrance - a musky vanilla coconut scent. It's my second favorite scent (Black Amethyst is my most favorite). The lotion is light and non-greasy, and moisturizes well.

I've passed this up time and time again because it really didn't smell like much to me. I've been on a shopping kick lately, so I bought this at the semi annual sale since I go through lotions like crazy. To me, it's a very light fragrance. I'm not a a huge musk fan but I just think of this being not sickly sweet instead of thinking of it as musky. I think I will be able to layer things over this (hopefully) and I don't think it's an offensive fragrance, but to me there's nothing amazing about it, though the name sounds pretty inviting!

Wow, it took me years to finish the large bottle of this that I bought on sale! Mainly because it's much more a fall and winter scent - sweet and musky. The musk in Brown Sugar and Fig is the reason I took off one lippie - I don't care for musk and its definitely a base note in this fragrance. I do like the combination of brown sugar, fig and coconut milk, though. It makes for a sexy, warm, sweet fragrance. I don't know if I'll ever repurchase a large bottle of this, but maybe a travel size one. :)

The Brown Sugar and Fig lotion from BBW is my absolute favorite. I almost cried when I found out that it had been discontinued. It has a very sexy, warm scent that is great for date night. I know this is more of a winter scent but I wear it all year round! I cant get enough of it!

I called all over town to find this!! I was a little late to the game because this is being gradually phased out. I should've gotten some of the Ultimate Silk body lotion when it was on sale at work!! This scent is so creamy and comforting and will definitely be a staple in the colder months!

This is the absolute worst scent from bath and body works I have ever smelled. I really do not like this and it manages to both give me a headache and a stomach ache as well. It is very nausea inducing and increadibly foody. Would not recomend.

This is such a fabulous lotion. It smells so warm and sweet, it's perfect! My mom loves it, too, and we go through it like crazy. I also have the body spray and it works very well with the lotion. This lotion could do no wrong. Bottom line: moisturizing, smells GREAT, non-greasy, and lasts long! Get it!

This fragrance is described as "rich" and the bottle describes that: "this enticingly warm fragrance combines ripe fig, coconut milk, caramelized brown sugar and soft, velvety musk." Brown Sugar & Fig is nice and rich without being too heavy. Sometimes I love it and other times I am not into it as much. I believe the reason for that is the musk notes (which I sometimes like and sometimes don't). The musk balances out the sweetness. The fig scent is sweet, but not especially fruity, and freshens the syrupy sweetness of the sugar. This is very popular for a reason. (I even have a co-worker who can immediately detect this on me because his wife wears it.) This is a nice alternative for those not wanting something fruity, floral, or vanilla. I can see this appealing to people of all ages. This is a great fall and winter scent. Although I have several lotions in rotation, I will definitely continue to repurchase this one. [Edit: This has now been discontinued and I am very surprised and disappointed, especially as this seems to be such a popular fragrance. Get it while you can. This had better make the "classics."]

WOW! This smells so good! I bought this just randomly at this past weekend's sale. I wish I would have bought more items...like the body splash or EDT. I want to go and get every product in this scent.
