I've been obsessed with vampy reds lately and my nail polish collection only contained bright reds so I had to get this. Its an amazing blue red colour that is a perfect blood red! I needed to do 3 coats to get the exact same colour as the bottle but it applied very nicely, smoothly and didn't bubble.
As with all OPI nail polishes the brush is amazing! Like most dark colours though, I noticed wear at my tips after just a few days but it didn't start chipping until just under a week. Looks great as a manicure - very classy and wearable for work or going out. I also love it as a pedicure for those same reasons! I can't wait to use this for some Halloween nail art coming up in the next month or so!
I got it for $10 which is totally worth the money when purchasing OPI because you get what you pay for! I will always have this in my collection and will definitely repurchase!

This is the dark red creme I've been looking for! I love the way a nice deep red looks on my lighter skintone, and I had purchased OPI Mrs. O'Leary's BBQ (which is a beautiful color) but just too dark for me - with two coats, Mrs. O'Leary's BBQ looks almost black in some lights. But then I found this! Perfect, deep red creme that doesn't look black. Almost looks like a jelly when you have it on.. a very squishy look to it! With 2 coats it's the perfect red for me, but you could make it even more vampy by layering on 3 coats or more. This is now my HG red for the fall/winter, and I'm already sporting it on my nails and toes! Love it.

I picked this up at a local salon based on reviews and swatches I had seen, but it has disappointed me. It doesn't appear as the same beautiful blue-based blood red for me as it looks in the swatches. Mine looks like more of a deep roan red colour (far more brown than red), which is not flattering at all on my fair skin. It just doesn't register as a red shade at all, in any light. Also, it took 3 coats to become opaque, and 4 on some fingers to look even, which is a LOT for a dark polish!
Unfortunately, the salon I got it from doesn't accept returns so I'm stuck with it now, even though I know I'm never going to wear it.

My HG red. Dark and rich. Love.it.
I picked this "off the rack" at the nail salon, fell in love, then had to run out to a store and buy my own bottle.

I had a manicure today and chose this color and am in love with it! It is a deep blood red, unabashedly bold and intense, one of the truest reds I have ever seen. Looooove it!

Perfect.
Classic red in brighter lights, dark blood-red in darker lights.
With 2 coats it looks exactly as it does in the bottle.
I wear this color so often, it matches almost all my moods. Looove it!
update: i've had this nail polish for about 2 years now and it has changed color, into an extremely deep, dark red. it almost looks brown in most lights .
update #2: it's too thick and gooey to use now. but thats ok, all nail polishes do that over time.

Very dark vampy red that looks a lot darker then the pictures you see online but I like it. I always have a darker and a lighter red in my stash and this is a perfect dark red. It applies smoothly, covers within two layers and it dries fast.

The search for that perfect red nail polish is over!! This is such a great color! Looks very dark in the bottle, but is this perfect shade of red when applied. Will definitely buy again and again and again.

This is my go-to red for when I want classy and grown up, rather than bright (I like Vodka & Caviar for that). It's easy to apply and holds up well to wear, with base and top coats of course. It's just a great dark red.

I have many reds. I always thought Magdala wine was my top contender...until gtbfr came along. I'm a PPP and almost all reds look good on me but none as perfect as this. This is a true blood red. Vampy and classy at the same time. Not vampy goth. It differs from Magdala wine as in it's more of a rich red mw isn't as red as this. It's not a bright red and it's not a really dark red. It's just right there in the middle and vampy. This is a must have for any red lover also you can layer extra coats to make it deeper.

I own many red nail polishes but this is my favorite. The shade is perfect for me. It's not fire engine red and it's not too dark. I will repurchase this over and over again. I wish OPI polishes were a little cheaper but they are totally worth the price so I can't complain.

My HG nailpolish. I'm medium with yellow undertones and it's as if this color was made for my skintone. The amount of compliments i get when i wear this is insane. The color is just a gorgeous deep red that looks really classy & chic. Pure love. Lifelong repurchase, of course.

Love is an understatement when it comes to this color. I'm NW20 and it was hard to find a red that looked good with my skin. I've tried to find one that wasn't too dark (though I love dark nails in the fall). I had tried looking for lighter reds at the other end of the spectrum, but they would almost look orangey. This color is the perfect red; not too dark, not too light. I've been wearing it every single day for the last week and a half and I'm constantly complemented on how gorgeous it looks. That being said, I'm almost in the market for another bottle.

This is the MOST AMAZING red I have ever seen! For me, it's a true Hollywood red, intense and deep, but not too dark. Classy, flirtacious and descretly sexy at the same time. Goes so well with my yellow toned NC 25 skin, it's highly pigmented and has a wonderful texture. A timeless grown up elegant colour that can be worn in summer or winter. I'm in love!

I'm a red-lover and have more red nail polishes than anything else. SO glad I picked up this one, though! I feel like it's the perfect thing when I just want RED. No shimmer or sparkle, not fire-engine bright, but just true, classic red.
You can really control the color of this one, which is great -- you can easily get away with one good coat for a lighter color, or layer a couple more coats to really deepen it up to a dark, vampy red. Very good quality and consistency, too, so even if you do one coat, you're not left with dreaded streaks and spots. As with all OPI polishes I've tried, the wear is excellent.
The color looks very blue-based in some lights, with almost a subtle berry cast to it, while in other lights it can lean slightly brown-red. It's such a gorgeous color -- to me it's very unique, but classic at the same time.
I have to recommend this as a must-have if you love red and red polishes. I have many and this is one of my absolute favorites. Get it!

My favourite red polish - stunning, blood-red, highly wearable, long-lasting and versatile. It passes my "2 coats" rule (more than 2 and it's a bust!), and results in an opaque and glossy finish. I have olive skin, which generally means that orange-based reds look better with my skin tone - this polish is a big exception. I wear this polish without an undercoat or topcoat and have had no issues with staining, or premature chipping. As well, I find that this polish (perhaps it's the formula?!) dries more quickly than most of my other OPI polishes.

I found this colour too vampish for me. I was expecting something a little bit brighter like on the picture shown above, but on my tan, olive hands this looked like a deep wine red, which is pretty but not what I was going for. I would recommend it to someone with blue undertones to their skin.
