My dad swears by this and keeps it in our bathroom. I finally decided to try it and have to say I was plesantly surprised. It absorbs fast! It really moisturizes my skin but doesnt make my skin greasy I could put my jeans on 20 minutes later with no sticky problem. I was most worried about the scent but another pleasant surprise! It smells really good. Its not strong and the fragrance doesn't make my skin red like most scented lotions- even on my super sensitive chest area or after shaving. I'm not a fan of vanilla scents and I liked it so thats saying a lot.

Good quality ingredients, very smooth and creamy, it absorbs just fine unless you really like to put on lots of cream after a shower, but that's not the lotion's fault. But the smell is terrific. I don't know if any of you remember the way Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar USED to smell, like when it first came out (when I was in seventh grade) but this smells exactly like the first version of it, before they did all the cheapo reformulations. Yum.

♥ i got the curel renewing for dry skin and i love it.. the ingredients are great it has milk protein, evening primrose, jasmine and vitD but it is not natural at all coz it has parabens, paraffin and dimethicone and for me it doesnt matter.. i love
how smooth and creamy it is.. it absorbs nicely and it moisturize enough without heavy feeling. i also love the smell, too light and sweet.. no complaints, period! ♥

Honestly, I bought this product at Big Lots for $4 and expected to dislike it. I typically dislike products that claim to he natural, even though the company is not known for its natural products.

I actually really liked this product. It feels better on my skin than normal Curel. I have very dry skin that I have to moisturize after every shower or washing. I love this and will definitely buy it again. The scent is pleasant and it is less greasy than the normal Curel.

Any time my skin starts to feel a bit itchy or irritated I reach for this lotion............the one with lavender/chamomile/oatmeal. In just one or two uses my skin is calmed down and feels great again. I especially like it on my legs after shaving. It absorbs quickly and leaves a soft feel. The smell is subtle but nice and clean not a medicated scent. I use other lotions but this is one I need around and will buy again for sure.

Good product. Lightweight. Can use it on my legs after shaving and it doesn't cause bumps (very hard to find one that works well without bumps). Takes a little to soak in. I have the shea butter one (honey/vanilla) and the oatmeal one (lavender/chamomile) and I much prefer how the shea butter one works, but smell wise I prefer the lavender.

I purchased this in the lavender, chamomile, and oatmeal scent. I say the price is great because I got the 99 cent travel size. :) Seriously though, the price is not bad. Similar to what Lubriderm, etc. costs. I like the texture of this lotion. Not too greasy, but not too light. So far, I've only used this as a hand lotion and it's worked out great. The scent is nice and clean. Smells VERY similar to Davidoff's Cool Water for women. I would repurchase.

I love how creamy and moisturizing this is, but it is WAY overpriced for a lotion. I mean it used to run 5-7 for the larger bottle, and now it goes for 9+, the cheapest one is at W@lM@art for $9.97. Because of this I am looking for alternative products to replace this. I may have to rob a bank otherwise, I do use this constantly, hence the reason I dislike the price.

I won this product from an Allure giveaway... and regardless of the fact that I got this for free I think its AMAZING!!! There's SO many lotions out there, why is this one of the few that actually performs to this level?? Moisturizes for HOURS AND HOURS and just lasts and lasts! This is a keeper! I'm glad is a drugstore lotion too.. no need to spend big bucks for a great lotion with this one around. I got it in the Renewing with milk and evening primrose & jasmine extracts. Try it!

I have tried two versions of this lotion, the honey, vanilla & shea butter version as well as the renewing with milk, jasmine, and evening primrose extracts. I find the scent of both to be very pleasing and soft, however it may be offensive to others. I reccomend that you sniff before you buy. I found the honey, vanilla and shea version to be very light and only sufficient for the summer months. Of the two lotions the renewing version with milk, jasmine and evening primrose extracts to be both better scented and more moisturizing. Both versions are quickly absorbed, however it is only the honey, vanilla and shea version that will not clog pores.

WOW! I am impressed, I truly like this product! I have the honey, vanilla & shea butter lotion..it is a new HG (at the moment!)

First of all, this is a very light lotion. If you are looking for a heavy duty winter lotion, this is not it!
It makes my hands smooth and silky feeling, without being heavy or greasy, which I like. I feel that my hands are in the "winter transition mode" of being slightly scaly and dry, but not yet ready for a thick creamy lotion...this lotion fits the bill for me! I almost didn't try it, because I have not been a Curel fan in the past (bad smelling lotion IMO!)
but this is a great product! I do have to disagree that it smells like Warm Vanilla Sugar. I think this product has a very light, faint smell that is reminiscent of WVS, but in no way as strong...I wanted to also compare it to BBW lotion..just as a comparison, the lotion is not as creamy and thick as the signature line lotion or the hand cream, it is alot thinner
One more thing...you can buy a travel size of this lotion at Wal-Mart (or other places I'm sure) for under a dollar..I did, and it prompted me to buy the larger bottle! (which, by the way right now is on sale at Walgreens for $5.99, and the store had $1.50 off coupons on the bottles!)

First of all, the basics: I have this in the "Honey, Vanilla & Shea Butter" scent. I have normal-to-oily skin on my body. In the cold and dry winter, my skin tends to get a little bit drier and needs a little bit of extra moisture every once in a while. I think my bottle might be a little bit old (even though I just bought it yesterday at SuperTarget), because it says "New!" on the bottle, and I see reviews for this product from a little over a year old! Unless maybe they still haven't changing the packaging? I don't know.

Anyways, I find that this lotion doesn't sink into my skin all the way. It leaves a waxy film over the top of my skin. It feels rubbery to the touch, so it's definitely noticeable. It's not greasy at all, but the waxiness isn't all that pleasant. I can handle that on my hands, though, so I've decided to use this as a hand lotion. I just cannot stand to use this anywhere else. This does work well as a hand lotion, but only if my hands aren't extremely chapped. So I mostly use this in the warmer months when there's a lot of humidity in the air. This smells like plain boring vanilla to me.

I might repurchase this for a hand lotion. I'm not too big on some of the ingredients, though. But this is a ton better than the Curel Targeted Therapy Fast-Absoring Hand & Cuticle Cream.

I love the green tea version. It goes on smooth and doesn't feel very sticky at all. I got it from Costco for 6.99 CAD and have been using it as a body lotion after showers. Moisturizers well. I'd definitely recommend and rebuy.

Eh, I didn't care for this. Sinks in too quickly and didn't do much to moisturize my skin. I got the Honey, Vanilla and Shea and really find the burnt, fake vanilla scent unsettling to my stomach. Yuck.

Bah! I got a little sample of this with my usual ultra-healing lotion, and packed it in my backpack for when my hands got dry. The lotion is probably fine unto itself, but the sample was the green tea scent, and I -hated- it. If I used it in class, I felt like everyone in the room could smell it. It was really strong, and, maybe it's just a matter of taste, but I thought the smell was ridiculous and old-fashioned (and not in a cute vintage way, either). I didn't even make it through the tiny sample bottle.

This is the best lotion I think I have ever tried. It absorbs well, is not greasy, has a light, pleasant fragrance, and it leaves my skin very moist and soft, and it stays that way. I am using the honey and shea one.
*Update 2009/11/08: I no longer am using this. I have been unable to purchase it where I am here in Canada. I am using Naturally Upper Canada in Vanilla Fig as it has no chemicals.

My favorite lotion at the moment! I have the honey, vanilla & shea butter. Smells so good and moisturizes so well. Sinks in leaving nothing sticky behind. I even did a test. I asked my son to feel each hand and tell me which one was softer, I only put lotion on one hand, and he picked the one I put lotion on. AWESOME STUFF!!!

I bought this lotion because I couldn't find Jergans cooling moisturizer, which feels so good in the summer. I am glad to see one other person did not like this product. I bought the one in cucumber, aloe, and green tea. It cost me around $11 CAD for the bottle.I put it on after the shower, and it felt a bit sticky, but I figured it would sink in. An hour later, I couldn't even get my clothes on, I was so sticky and tacky. It felt like I had a layer of wax on my body, and it was not a soothing lotion. I actually had to have a shower to get it off, especially after my boyfriend said I felt sweaty. I have good reviews on Curel, I was very dissapointed in this one. I would never buy this again.

I bought this on sale for 8CAD which I think is too expensive for everyday use. It's a large green pump bottle which I like.

The product is what I didn't like. It was a soft lime green lotiony product that smelled really weird. Like green scents, but weird as if it were tea or something. It sunk into my skin really fast, which I would've liked except it seemed to make my skin rough in a sense as it didn't feel nice.

I liked putting this on my face (which it says you can) but everything it accidently goes on my lips, I can't put my lip balm over it! It gets very rough and none of my lip balm product sticks to it. It made my so angry because my lips are drier than my skin... so yeah. I didn't like this.

I have the honey, vanilla, shea butter version of this lotion and I love it. It moisturizes really well and is fairly thick for a lotion however for me sinks in rather quickly. I love the scent but it fades by mid morning. I will definately repurchase.
