I received this product as a gift, so I can't really comment on the price. I've been using this for one year more or less, and although not for daily use, I'm really happy with it. It's a mildly exfoliating sponge cloth that helps achieving a thorough cleaning along with regular cleansers. I find this especially effective when used with a cream cleanser (not so much with foaming washes), as it removes every possible trace of cleanser and make up from your face. I wet it with hot water, squeeze it out and pat it on my face. It feels like an express facial! Leaves skin soft and smooth, and improves the appearance of pores. I can't use this everyday as I have sensitive, thin skin that would get stripped, but it has found its constant place in my bathroom shelve. Also, I would repurchase if I had to, but I don't think I will since this can be washed with warm water and soap leaving no residue, so it basically lasts forever.

Mild exfoliation action and it doesn't suck up a lot of cleanser. Rinses clean after almost everything and it really lasts. Works great with pretty much any cleanser. Loved it and definitely will buy again.

I've been using this product for a couple of months. At the very first time i used, it thought that it's useless, but after i washed my face out and moisturize it, i figured out that cloth makes a good job for cleaning whole face deeply. I like it and will buy it again.

I really love the sponge chief! It can be used for all cleansers, even non-kanebo cleansers. It gently exfoliates...I had a fresh scab from a zit (I know I shouldnt be picking, but I do anyways!) and after using kanebo's sponge chief with the silk peeling powder, and my regular face wash (and the cream cleanser at night to remove makeup)the scab was gone within one day. So that was after using it to wash my face at night, and in the morning. Also, my dry winter patches are gone! Sponge Chief is like a squishy white face towel that dries hard b/c of it's antibacterial properties, according to the SA. Use it to wipe off your face wash (it works with any kind of face wash) after lathering your face, and then rinse your face with water. You can re-use over and over again, and just wash it with plain soap and water. Even though it's white, and it looks dirty after using to remove make-up...the make-up rinses off so easily w/ water...fresh and clean, leaving it white again. It's $15 USD. Not too bad, considering it's re-usable!! I will definitely repurchase (if I ever NEED to...it definitely won't be for a very long time!)

I love this thing! Takes off all traces of cleanser, and I can feel a mild exfoliating action as well. I love how makeup can't stain this cloth! Just remember to splash a lot after removing your cleanser with this product to really flush out the pores. A keeper!

If you're used to wash cloths, maybe this doesn't appear too strange. I wasn't, however, so this was a new experience. But it's so great! My skin used to be flaky all the time, although it's not very dry (combo/dry in winter, combo/oily in summer). But the flakes have disappeared since I started using the Sponge Chief, I guess thanks to the mild exfoliation it provides (you can't really tell that it's exfoliating, b/c it's so soft, but you can tell from the results!). This sponge/wash cloth removes ALL traces of cleansing product, and you don't have to rub – you only wipe your face with it, and it all comes off instantly. It took a little getting used to for me, and some might consider it a bit impractical, since it stiffens when it dries. But the results – soft and perfectly clean skin – are so worth it.
