Great, great product. I have naturally wavy hair that tends to hand lifeless as it get longer. A little bit of this on the ends and use my curling iron and I get beautiful curls that last all day. Best curl product I have tried!!

I have mixed feelings on this product. First of all, the smell is disgusting- kind of tequila-ish. I think if you were hungover and tried to use this product, the results would be ugly. Also, if you try to use the spray on dry hair, you'll wind up with some really gross, crunchy, sticky clumps.

However, it does work to really bring our your curls. I have wavy, almost curly hair, but when I use this product, I think people would describe it as truly curly.

This is how I use it- after a shower, I let my hair air-dry for 20 minutes or so. Then I spray this product all over my hair, don't be afraid to use a lot of it. Finally, I blow dry and scrunch a bit. It's very effective, with very pretty results. I just wish the texture and smell were better.

I just bought this to use with my curling iron. I was only able to use it once, because after the first time... the pump broke and the entire thing was useless. I had to return it. The one time I did use it, it definitely held the curl... but was really really sticky/hard.

I have fine, somewhat naturally wavy hair. I first used this product a couple of years ago while in Hawaii. I bought it because of the humidity there, and I wanted something that would enhance my natural waves. I have a love/hate relationship with this product. I have to say, it definitely does help to define and bring out my waves, but the down side is that as mentioned by a few other people, it makes my hair look and feel a slight bit "crunchy" and brought out some static. (I used very little product and still had the problem. ) So, overall, it's not bad - I've been considering buying it again, but it is not one of my HG products.

I have thick hair that if I don't blow dry turns into a mass of uneven waves. I often throw some gel and hairspray in my hair and scrunch it for the curly look. This often leaves my hair with that "hard" feeling. However, with this spray, I can get by with NO gel. After I shower, I brush my hair, loosen it up with my fingers, coat my hair with a few spritzes of this, scrunch, hit my hair with some hairspray, and dry my hair upside down with the dryer. I am left with very soft natural looking curls without the layer of gel product in my hair. It works just as well. Too bad the bottle is so tiny.

I have naturally very long fine straight hair with extensions and curl my hair often to put soft waves and ringlets in it. I never used any curl defining product before this one but I have been very satisfied. I spray this on about a 1-inch section of my hair before wrapping it around my curling iron. It holds my curl very well and leaves my hair looking conditioned and shiny, as opposed to spraying my hair with hairspray before curling it which can often leave it looking brittle and dry. I spritz my hair with a bit of hairspray when I am finished to add a finishing hold but this product really does keep my curls curled and soft! It sprays out in a mist which sometimes gets my hair a bit too drenched and wet when I am applying it and I get it all over my arms but other than that I have few complaints!

Okay, this is my favorite curl defining product. I have very kinky curls, but my hair is baby fine, there's just alot of it. This curl spray really helps define my curls. I spray it into my hair after I use Redken Outshine (anti-frizz polish) and it really helps. My only complaint is the pump, it hasnt clogged yet but I'm positive it will. I will repurchase, of course.

im asian and i've got wavy and super frizzy hair, the kind that can turn into an afro if i sleep with it wet. however, my roommate had this laying around in our dorm and i decided to give it a try since she told me it didnt work on her super straight asian hair...i took a shower, squeezed out the extra water and then sprayed this all over my head. i scrunched it just a couple of times and twisted a few front sections around my finger just for some shape. then i went to bed with my hair damp and woke up the next morning with perfectly soft curls!!! i was so amazed. however, i give it a 4 cause i did have to do some touch ups with a curling iron...but i guess its just some parts of my hair are straighter than others. but im still convinced theres a 5 out there waiting for me.

First of all, let me just say that I think it's so important that in all reviews people should state what hair type they have. All products work differently with different hair. I have wavy hair. I don't usually wear it this way because the curls aren't really tight enough to look good. I bought this hoping for some shape and I think it works fine. As with anything, nothing is a miracle but it left me with tighter curls and nice body. After the shower I let my hair air dry a bit and then sprayed the product on my hands. I did a scrunching motion throughout my hair and let it dry completely. No heating products as I believe they will poof it out. It's a little crunchy but overall okay :)

The Curl-Vaceous line has been launched a few months ago. The spray is the 4th bottle on this picture.

This is probably one of the worst hair product I've ever tried. I've used it 3X so far and I think I am going to throw the bottle in the garbage. It it supposed to enhance, curve and shape the curls. It's also heat-activated. But let me say this product worth absolutely nothing. Not even a few $.

I sprayed it through damp hair, then use my blow dryer + diffuser as per the indications on the bottle. It left my hair so crunchy, as if I had applied tons of gel and hair spray. Ugh. When I use this stuff my curls aren't manageable at all and my hair is fluffy as a poodle or as if I had a very bad perm (my curls are natural). The texture is awful. The bottle claims that it's perfect for "soft, touchable curls" which is absolutely false.

And I had no luck with the bottle either. The pump doesn't work properly and the spray tends to leak.

It smells like green apple candies. Not bad. But the overall product is crap. Won't buy this again. Not recommended unless you want crunchy 80's big hair.
