After reading up on Fusion Soft Lights - Intermix, I was pretty much convinced it was to be a good buy. It promised 'radience', 'illuminosity' and a 'lit-from-within radience'. Sadly, it did none of these things!
I firstly used it as a blusher, swilrling all the colours together with my brush and applying. But the darker, bronze colours seemed to eliminate the pink and yellow highlighter completly leaving only the bronze to be seen! Annoying :p After that I tried to just use the colours seperatly, bronze for contouring and pinks/yellow highlighter for blusher. But the closeness of the colours made this impossible, picking up colours I didnt want.
On the plus side it does last for a long long time :) But I definatly wouldn't go back and buy it again.

I was hoping that combined I'd achieve more of a blush color with the shades of pink, but all the browns are prominent so I would recommend using only as a bronzer. I've tried concentrating this on the center pink stripe but get too much of the others next to it. But, the pink works well in it as there is no orange. I don't mind shimmer on my cheeks as blush but all over for a bronzer doesn't look good on me so I plan to give away.

I've only been using this product for about a week... I always check with MUA before purchasing anything. My rule if it's less than 60% rebuy - i will not buy. Anyways, I thought I would be blown away by the intermix shimmer due to all the great reviews. But I haven't been ! It leaves me feeling that I am not using it properly or with the right brush.

I like having reallly pink cheeks... so i've been using this allover - although focusing on cheeks (on top of my smashbox blush) to get the "glow" that everyone is talking about. It "kind of" stands out.. but nothing exceptional. I barely even notice it and it definitely doens't last all day.

I'm going to try this alone - without my blush and see the color / maybe i'll see the effect more. If I change my mind.. I will update.

Right now.. I can't see me repurchasing .. although I will definitely use the product until it runs out. Then I may reach for a different highlighter/shimmer product.

And although it's a little expensive.. you definitely get a lot of product .. so I can't complain there.

I bought this based on the great reviews and how nice it looks in the pic...I do like it a lot and will use it up but won't purchase again....it's not HG material for me and there are so many blush/bronzer choices out there to try.

This product is amazing. It gives my cheeks the most amazing glow! And if you concentrate on the pink, you get a gorgeous blush color. The yellow is an awesome highlight. And better yet, the sephora that I went to had this on their display for black friday. I got it for only $10!!!!

I love this! When I get all the colors on my brush, It appears like a really lively blush. This is one of my new favorite products, and I can't see how this wouldn't work for any skin tone. Its hard to describe how it looks, because if you put it on differently it can look quite different.

Wow do I love this stuff. It is a fantastic blush. Always flattering winter or summer. Magical!! I swirl the brush through all the colors and it is gorgeous. A little spendy but worth it. HG for sure!!

I am a finishing/highlighting powder junkie and this is one of my very favorites! I have been through about 4 of these already and will continue buying as long as Smashbox makes this- and will totally stock up if they discontinue it!

I swirl the brush equally through all the colors and I get a great brightening effect that makes me look healthy and awake- even when I'm not, lol! It doesn't look heavy or even like I am wearing powder. This is one I always buy another of as soon as I open one, so that I always have a spare on hand. I even dropped and broke one, but fortunately with the lid on, so I just put the broken pieces into an old sifter case, crushed up the remnants and used it up as a loose powder- and it worked just as well. GREAT stuff!!!

Hands down one of the best products i've bought recently!! I love using the darker two shades on teh bottom as contouring powders, and the top two as the highlight- it works so perfectly. I bought it because smashbox don't sell their contouring kits in Ireland, so this was the next best thing, and i'm completely in love with it! It's the first bronzer-type product that doesn't make my face look dirty, which is always a plus. A lot of people use a normal powder brush, but honestly I recommend using the Smashbox #22 fan brush, or something similar, especially if you use it for contouring like I do.

A product well worth the 28 euros I paid for it, and it last for ages.

so pretty in the pan! and pretty on skin too
depending on which side or strip you use more this can be a blush or a bronzer so its really clever and nice
medium to high pigmentation, applies smoothly and lasts on face all day
however this is not for sensitive skin because some of the ingredients will break you out if you are someone who is allergic to certain iron oxides
packaging is sleek black and velvety as that is the signature packaging of smashbox, very great product overall

I use this as a bronzer. The color is good for me, not too brown, not too pink. The only thing I don't like is the packaging, you can't be sure how much product you are getting and I hit pan quicker than any other product, also once you hit pan and drop it it shatters into a million pieces. Overall I like it and will purchase again.

This is one of the best products ever. I've been using it for god knows how long and finally hit pan. The top two stripes--yellow and beige are perfect for subtle hightlight. Middle stripes are perfect blush. Bottom are a lovely, also subtle, bronzer. The colors get a little blended as I swipe across the pan, which makes application seamless. People have repeatedly told me I look like I'm in love when I wear it (I wish). Got one for my 84 year old mom who uses it the same way and it looks fabuous on her too. Yes, this is a little pricey, but soo worth it.

Was prowling the aisles at Sephora, intending to purchase NARS Albatross. When I swatched the Albatross, though, I was... underwhelmed.
Next on the list was TF Pink Leopard which was, of course, out of stock.
Finally an SA noticed my forlorn face and asked if she could help, and I explained what I wanted.
Bless her, she brought me the Intermix to try, and it was deep, abiding, and immediate love. (Not for the SA, though she was nice enough, but for the Intermix.) ;)
This product is just *gorgeous,* and lends the face a beautiful luminosity that is not glittery or brash. It smoothes everything over and together, providing the illusion of flawless, glowing skin. I can't imagine being without it, and will repurchase for as long as it is available.

This pan is akin to an Amex card, I never leave home without it. Ever. I've been using this for a few years now whether I am very tan or not and it is lovely. Powerful little multitasker that I use for eyes, cheeks, face and dusting bronzer. Because there is a palette of color in the pan it is a great choice for travelling and easy to carry your full face of makeup in one round pan. Love it and can not live without it. If I could I would buy each of the colors in individual jumbo pans as I do use a little more of the yellow and adjacent color a tad more than the others due to using them a little more often as I use them as shadows. This is a serious multitasker.

This is so good I think I will buy more than 1 just in case my dog steals one, my house catches on fire or the company discontinues it.
I can usually find something wrong w/anything, I am soooo picky but this is perfect for me. If I sweep my brush from the pink stripe towards the lighter stripes I can highlight. If I sweep towards the darker stripe I can do my apples and get the most perfect color. It isn't pink, mauve, brown, dirty, orangey, rusty-- just perfect healthy glowing warmth. It doesn't settle into my lines and isn't glittery. I have a heavy hand and it doesn't look overly done and doesn't need overly blended out.
I think it is fairly priced but as far as the packaging is concerned the screw off lid isn't the best. Flip top would be more convenient (something like BB's blushes would be really nice). What would be clutch would be if Smashbox made something where you could buy as many as you wanted and you could pop them into a big palette and have them in one place like LM or BB or Chante.
I don't mind that it doesn't have a mirror since it is so long wearing I really don't feel the need to touch up. For this reason it doesn't really bother me that there is no brush included. On the upside if you have more than one of these it is nice that the top is clear so you can see which one you are reaching for.

I love this blush! I was originally going to buy Dusk but when I tried it in the store it wasnt flattering on my skintone but when I tried Intermix, it gave me that beautiful natural glow with a hint of pink colour on my cheeks. I was worried it wouldnt show up but this product is very buildable which makes it versatile...I can wear it for a natural look during the day and build it up for a more dramatic sexy look at night!

I am totally in love with Intermix. Such a perfect combination of colors, such a great product! It's my favorite choice for contouring, as a highlighter and blush. I own Fusion Soft Lights in many colors, but this is my favorite one.
Not much shimmer - I definitely like this fact. I would always repurchase (I already did - I got one for my sister as well). The only thing I don't like is the package. I managed to break three of my Fusion Soft Lights. Of course it was my fault, but still I would love to have this product in another, less sensitive package.

love this! i'm on my second container. this is my everyday blush or when i want to look like i dont' have make up on. this gives me extra color and a natural glow. i use it all year round but i esp. love using it in the summer. i will keep purhasing this product.

I was drawn to the pretty stripes of colors, so I had to get Smashbox's Intermix. I love how it highlights my cheeks with a healthy, bronzey pinky tone. The one drawback would be that it's made in China, but I'll still use it on a regular basis.

This is my new HG blush / highlighter. I use it for day and night... it's just that great. When I swirl it all together, it appears to be this gorgeous golden pink tone. On my medium toned skin, it turns out so lovely. It makes me have this wonderful, healthy glow that I love love love. Sometimes, I lightly apply it all over my face, particularly where the sun would hit me and it turns out really nice. I don't look like a glittering disco ball but instead, it gives me a radiant glow. Very very nice! This is awesome. Packaging is good (I don't hate it) and the amount given is perfect (it lasts forever!). For $30, this is worth it. It has replaced my $5 NYC mosaic powder in highlight.
