This is definately not "mauve". BUT, it is a beautiful colour, more peachy with a but subtle shimmery glow, not glittery, and will be seriously a good colour in the summer. Definately a winner!

very pigmented, but i -apparently- chose the wrong color on NYX powder blush. this one is wayyy to gray-ish pink. but i believe this will look pretty on someone with pink undertone.

very pigmented, easily build/blend, slight shimmer.

Really great blush. I can contour with it nicely or get a healthy pink to my face. It's quite pigmented though so I lightly tap my blush brush on it once, brush excess onto the back of my hand and blend away on my face!
Mauve was my first NYX blush and since then, I've never looked back. NYX blushes are truly great.
I got this one for $9.99 CAD at Phoenix in Pacific Mall (for my fellow Torontonians!). I'm a little sad as to how NYX isn't readily available everywhere in Canada so I do have to make a mission to get there and buy NYX products. I know it's a little bit pricier than in USA, but it's still a reasonable price and for the same product you could get for much more at MAC.
I've never had any trouble with the packaging. This blush will probably last me forever since I use so little at time but if I were to suddenly run out, I'd probably buy another colour. Not because this one isn't great (because it is) but because I'm starting to love these blushes so much that I want to experiment with even more of their colours!

Its an alright blush.... its cheap and good to have in the collection. The reason why I wouldnt buy it again is because you dont need a lot of product on your brush.... you wont need to buy it again!

I like the packaging, not so much the blush. Not really a mauve to me and I have to apply several layers to get it to show up. Would probably not repurchase (doubt I'll even get through the one I have)

While this is a good blush, and I am generally attracted to any color in the mauve family when it comes to cheeks and lips, it's not my favorite. It is a beautiful color, and I will wear it but it is a bit on the orange side for my skin. I think it would be perfect for someone with more pink undertones. I think a better alternative in the same price range for light olive toned skin is 'Mellow Mauve' studio blush by ELF.

Mauve (muted rosy pink) is one of NYX blushes that is very pigmented. I needed to use a little hand with this matte blush. This like all of NYX powder blushes does not last all day, you'll have to reapply after a few hours. Continue for swatch. My coloring is NW/NC 25

This is a really nice blush from NYX, especially for the affordable price of $5 on cherryculture.com. It's a rosy pink shade and the texture is very smooth and silky. This blush is ideal for fair-to-medium complexions. It may not show up very much on darker complexions. This blush is perfect if you just want a nice, rosy, natural-looking flush.

LOVE, LOVE. I'm NC30 and this blush on me is perfection. So perfect, in fact, that when I went on a month long trip it was the ONLY blush i took. Never had need for another. The name is deceiving. It's more or a warm muted pink, or muted watermelon type color. Regardless. gorgeous. On my skintone, one of those blushes you can just throw on without thought and it leaves you looking natural but alive. Would definitely purchase again. All NYX blushes are great, but this one is one of the true gems.

I love this blush, its my first NYX blush but it has left me wanting more! Lovely wearable, builable colour which really warms up my NC37 face, for a very wearable everyday look, or can be built up for more color at night maybe?
I wouldnt have called it Mauve, its very misleading. Like other reviewers have said, its much more of a dusty pink. Completely matte - no shimmer - so its great if your oily like me and the last thing you need is more shine!!
Great consistency. I dont find it chalky at all. Its easy to apply and can be layers easily for a more intense look, having said that its pretty well pigmented.
I have oily skin and most blushes need to be re-applied (even MAC, Chanel etc), so I was not expecting this blush to have particularly great staying power, as its cheap compared to some other blushes I use. BUT the staying power has been FANTASTIC and on me, this blush lasts longer than ANY MAC blush has ever done!
I am acne prone too, and it has NOT broke me out, which is another huge plus.
For the money you get a decent amount of product, in nice black packaging. I have travelled with this blush a few times and it hasnt broken on me, and its in my make up bag, in my hand bag most days and its been fine, so its sturdy.
If you have never tried a NYX blush and dont want to spend too much money, give this one or another NYX blush a try - for the price you dont have much to lose?
I am definately repurchasing- and I cant wait to try more NYX blushes :-)

Love the color (dark pinky/mauvy matte color). In the garbage. Why? It broke me out and I was not happy with the texture of the blush. From my experience, NYX blushes tend to have pretty good color payout but are really really soft. For instance you cannot use a skunk brush without having the blush crumble on you...which (lets be honest) sucks. In fact any blush brush I used seemed to damage the blush. Also, I had a bad reaction. If you do not have overly sensitive skin and don't mind having a $6 blush fall apart on you....give it a try. But honestly, I think you can get better quality from another drugstore brand.

Very beautiful color in the pot, but its just not pigmented enough. It is slightly buildable on my skintone, but then with enough color showing, it gets too powdery looking. Not really a mauve color, more of a dusty rose color. To get this color to work, I had to use it over a creme blush. That is why this only gets a 2 rating for me. This might be better for fair women. WOC stay away, and don't waste your money.

This is my everyday blush. It is a natural pink color that is perfect for my everyday natural glow...it stays on and goes on smooth with no extra amounts of blending needed....so i feel like its pefect amount of pigmentation for the face.

This has become my favorite blush. I used this for a wedding and the bride was very excited with her look. She was a NC45 skintone. It was beautiful on her and now beautiful on me. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

I really love the color of this blush. It's a beautiful rosey pink color that would look good on just about anyone. I actually wish it was more pigmented though--I'm pale as all get out, and I guess I'm used to applying more pigmented blushes. Anyway, this one is more "buildable" than some of the loose mineral blushes I use. For such a cheap blush that is so easy to travel with though, I must say that I love this one.

"Gorgeous" should be the name of this blush. Very pigmented, so its better applied with a FOB. I dont find this one to be a mauve? To me, it is a deep and muted but still true rosey blush. Very pleased with the earler reviews, as they convinced me that this was one i should try. It is really pretty, and im definately going to get some of the other shades too!

Love this blush, love this color! No matter how I apply it, it always looks completely natural. Blends smoothly and looks good both under fluorescent lighting and outdoors. Plus the price and the packaging are excellent.
