An average salt scrub... Seems to be the good old formula of coarse sea salt mixed with some oil. The fragrance is bearable, though I have to say it's definitely better in the scrub than it is in the body butter. I've tried almost all the body scrubs from TBS and none of them are particularly good.

I love the smell, but hate the oily feel it lefts behind.

The Body Shop's 'cranberry' scrub is a disappointment compared to the body wash and the shimmery lotion in the same series. It's not a good exfoliant, as it doesn't seem to strip away dead skin evenly, so after shower some parts of my body are slightly greasy while other parts are dry. It's not effective either, because I need to apply a lot to feel a difference. The texture is pretty harsh, too. It also gets diluted by water very easily and only lasts through about 5 applications.

Horrible. I bought this a few months ago but never used it until last night. Smelled great in the shower and did a decent job of "scrubbing" but it left the most disgusting, gross film on my skin. YUCK, YUCK, YUCK! There's no way I'd buy this again, in fact, I don't think I'll bother to use up the one I have... it's that bad. To sum it up in two words... HATED IT!

I really enjoy the scent, and was surprised - I thought it would be too tart, but it's really quite sweet and foody. I love this scrub. It feels great and has bits of cranberry peel it in, and yet isn't too gritty. Comes in a gaint tub, and I wish they'd make the scrub year round - it goes great as a base for a lot of fruity lotions and creams.

Although I would love it if this scrub was more moisturizing it is the perfect complement to the body butter. It smells delicious and I love that it has real cranberry seeds in it!

Okay, in general, I dislike scrubs in a tub...water gets in there, it gets under my nails, etc. Sephora had a great idea putting that Coffee and Cream scrub in a tube. But I am not talking about that, I am reviewing The Body Shop's Cranberry Salt Scrub. The scent is AMAZING! I am lemming this stuff every year by July for the past 4 years! I never stock up enough and it's super hard to find year-round. It feels great and this is one of the only Body Shop lines I am really crazy about (besides the Hemp).

I hated this. It was hugely disappointing because I generally like Body Shop scrubs. It left a sticky icky film on my skin that no amount of soaping and lathering would remove. Bleah.

I purchased this as a gift last year - and by the time I went back to buy some for myself it was sold out! Apparently the Body Shop sells whatever holiday items it gets and does not restock. Older and wiser, I bought a tub of this yummy scented scrub in advance this year! ;-) It smells SO nice - a good combination of sweetness, tartness, and fruitiness. The texture is much 'scrubbier' than the other body scrubs I've been using, but it isn't unbearable.

This scrub makes my skin sooooooo smooth, especially when I rub it all over on dry skin pre-shower. The cranberry scent is tart, tangy and delicious! My only complaint is that the jars are very small, so I only get 3-4 uses out of one jar. Fortunately, I can get this stuff cheap after Christmas at the Body Shop Depot (the cranberry tends to sell out first, but they also have the Pear and Snow scents, which are also quite nice).

After not having bought anything at The Body Shop for YEARS, I ventued back there during Christmastime and discovered the Cranberry stuff. Love, love, love this scent! Why was it only a limited edition? And, more than that, why did I not stock up? I went crazy looking for this stuff at the after-Christmas sales and it was mostly gone.

Okay, back to the actual product review: Besides the fresh, zingy, tart cranberry scent, the fact that this scrub really does the job exfoliating WITHOUT turning my tub into an emergenncy-room-visit-waiting-to-happen oil slick is a huge, huge plus. Oh, Body Shop, do bring this one back year-round!

I can't wait for next Christmas to stock up on this scrub! My skin is so soft after using it and what a great scent. Although I do find I have to use a lot of it at a time but overall makes your skin feel great.

This is by far the best slt scrub out there! My best friend got me this for Christmas and I LOVE IT! It as a wonderful scent, the salt granules aren't too scratchy, but best of all, it is not too greasy! There is just enough oil mixed in to soften your skin, but when you open the tub there is not a big pool of oil on top. Too bad this is only a Holiday item or else I would definitely buy more!

After reading the great reviews on this product and already loving the cranberry scent, I decided to purchase the scrub; expecting it to be as great as the other reviewers said it was. Well... it smells very good but a)it's way too harsh on my skin, b)it makes it sooo itchy, c)the jar is not convenient at all in the shower and d) there is something wrong with the consistency of the product because after a few uses, it started to become very liquid. The salt went right to the bottom of the jar and that "gooey" white stuff was floating on top... Anyway, I'm really not satisfied with this scrub. I prefer, by far, the Africa Spa salt scrub. But I think that after putting the cranberry crap (sorry for those who like it) in the garbage, I will go out and try Clinique's soft polish body exfoliator. It looks like a good one.

I love this salt scrub, I hoarded 4 jars since this is a seasonal item. Thescent is amazing, a very crisp cranberry, and it exfoliates very well without being harsh.

This smells delicious though it doesn't stay after your shower! It makes my skin smoother and pretty much works like other salt scrubs.

This is so so nice, and smells so so good! A great scrub, not too abrasive, and in a more shower gel base as opposed to oil. Wonderful, washes away clean, and leaves skin lightly fragranced. I hope they start doing this with their other scents as well!
