I never buy anything I wont use...well not on purpose atleast. But sometimes colors just did not work with my complexion. I have noticed you make less wrong choises after more you try. But this palette is perfect! I am cool toned which this palette also is except for the bright orange stripe. I love the orange stripe with the green and blue. It is such a gorgeous combination! I use the orange always on the outer corner and the blues and greens in the inner corner. But I NEVER ever wear all the colors same time. These colors are great to be used as highlight colors (except orange) with any neutral eye shadows. Only color I feel like it is " just ok" is the lilac one. It is so boring and I really havent used it. When I bought this I also thought that the package is really good because it does not have any stupid ( mostly useless) applicators that would take the place from the actual product. And this is very easy, basic shape to store. The staying power of the shadows is also pretty good and I was especially surprised that there is also nice amount of pigment in these color stripes. I would repurchase if this was not a limited edition.

I got this as a gift. The truth is, while the turquoise and blue shades are absolutely spot on, the orange one doesn't work well with them...at all!
If you wear this in combination the result is exactely the name of it "bayadere"...it has different connotations in different languages, but in Spanish is often use to describe a woman whose only purpose in life is to attract male attention and please them, by singing and dancing...
So points off for making the combination not work, I always think if you are going to bother doing a limited edition combination, it should really be a lovely one, not one where you have to cherry pick the colours...
