This blush is lovely, it applies so naturally and creates a natural warmth and peachy flush on my fair skin. I was a bit hesitant about the shimmer, however it lends a subtle dimension and glow to the skin rather than a disco ball effect. Blending it in is easy, and it's a difficult blush to overdo. Unlike with many products, I haven't had any issues with skin irritation or breakouts either.

Unfortunately I have a couple of minor complaints too. It might be shallow, but for the price I would like the packaging to be a little bit more "special". It doesn't have a sturdy or expensive feel to it like similarly priced pressed powders. The powder feels very soft too, like it might shatter into a million pieces at the slightest bump. While I treat all of my makeup with care, I'm very clumsy and I feel like I'm walking on eggshells when I use this!

I would definitely recommend this as a work-friendly, daytime blush. I am interested in a few other colours, despite my complaints because once I find something that works for me, I like to stick to it. If anyone is interested in swatches and a more indepth review, just PM me!

I first tried Whisper in the trial kit and I loved it. This blush works well and I love using it on the apples of my cheeks to give me a nice glow. The color is awesome and works well with JI bronzers for the sculpted cheek bones. Love it.

Too many sparkles for me, plus it's too hard to wash them away... If I'll buy any blushes from JI again it won't be a Whisper for sure, maybe some matte shade.

This is what I imagined Nars Orgasm to have been, minus all the wasteful layers. Orgasm took a lot of work to show on my skin- TONS of layers, and by the time I got some color I was shining chunky gold, mostly. This gives me a great glow (like coming in from the cold). The only complaint- not tightly packed, so if you drop it, it will pulverize into a sack of loose powder- no joke. And it highlights your pores, so if you have enlarged pores, I would avoid. Not sure if I would re-purchase considering all the hassles involved since this is not make-up bag friendly.

This is a beautiful blush. It was the first JI blush that I tried. I was told at several places that sell JI that this color is their answer to NARS Orgasm. The color is very pretty and natural. The turn-off for me was that when initially applied, the subtle gold flecks/shimmer is noticeable. So if I wanted a bit more color, I got more shimmer and I didn't like that part. (I found NARS O to have much finer milled shimmer, but i looked like the tin-man when I used NARS O so I moved on.) IME, the gold flecks/shimmer faded (I mean that in a good way) as the day went on. Clearly, I have an issue with shimmer and flecks on my face but others may love the look of this blush. I know this is one of JI's best selling blushes so I would recommend checking it out and deciding for yourself.

I'd buy this again, but I give it a "1" for packaging since it crumbles in the pot with everyone, me included. So you end up rescuing pigment from crumbs for months, trying not to spill. The trade off is, you really can sleep in JI makeup and wake up with better skin, if it's the odd party night and you take good care of your skin any way.

Looks sparkly in the pot, not in person that I've seen. Looks beautiful on everyone I've seen it on, no matter the skin tone. Was my favorite blush hands down for years. Bet a nutural bristle fan shaped brush for expensive blushes like these. Makes it last for ages.

I got tons of compliments when I wore this. People tell me I look really happy and glowing. But I only wear this when I feel bright, happy and cheerful. It's kinda expensive and it breaks easily. My boyfriend dropped it and it shattered into a million pieces and couldn't be saved. I have now a little small chunks left in the blush case.

i cant believe the good reviews on this blush it is so shimmery it just sits in my pores not to mention the slightly orange tint it leaves on your cheeks i worked with this makeup line at my salon go for something like sheer honey or tawny for a peachy glow minus the sparkle anyone over twenty five avoid whisper

This is a gorgeous blush! It is an amazing color and makes me glow. The only issue I have with it is it broke up in the compact within weeks of purchasing. I don't even carry it in my bag! The same thing happened with Moonglow....I ended up buying a small container from Sephora with small holes on top and put it in there. Has anyone else had issues with her products breaking up? I keep them on my bureau so I see no reason for this. Anyhow, other than that I highly recommend!

love this blush, pretty shade on my very fair skin, great on top of bronzer too. be careful not to overapply, i find JI mineral products warm up and 'bloom' after a few hours melding with your skins oils. I like that, but i make sure i 'under apply' taking that into consideration.

Absolutely beautiful. So natural. Is shimmery but not over the top. Gives you a nice healthy glow.

great peachy-pink blush with gold shimmer. i'm not a big fan of shimmer but it is very understated and looks very natural with the right application. the first time i used this blush, i put too much on and i looked a bit orange. a little goes a long way, and i like to put a few thin layers of this on until i gives me a healthy, natural looking glow. i also love that it makes my bare lips look very pink.

I have tried so many blushes, from drugstore to high end and I must say I think I like this better than even my NARS or chanel! This color is so pretty! I am warm-toned, though fair (probably in the mac 20-25 range) and can never find a pink that I like. Also, this product STAYS better than most blushes. This is the only shade I've tried of this product, but I'm eager to try some more since the formulation seems to work well with my skin.

It's very understated - a peachy-pinky color with a hint of glow provided by gold specks; it is NOT in any way 'shimmery' like NARS orgasm, torrid or deep throat. Plus, I don't think you can go wrong with mineral make-up. If you accidentally fall asleep with it on, it's not the end of the world.

This blush is gorgeous on the skin for summer. It is pink with slight flecks of gold. I like it as well as my Nars orgasm!

I love the colour, consistensy and the way it and feels. But I dropped it on the floor and it smashed so that now if I'm going out and put it in my makeup bag it spills everywhere. I'm definitely repurchasing though because it's the prettiest blush I've used: subtle, peachy/ pink with the teensy teeniest bit of sparkle... definitely not prostitute like... gets lots o compliments :)

This shade looks nice on the apples of my cheeks but I can't seem to pull it off as an overall blush. While it has real food grade gold flecks in it, they don't seem to scream "glitter" and that is definitely a plus.

I love this blush. I have 2 JI blushes. Sheer Honey and Whisper. I use Sheer Honey as a bronzer and use Whisper on the apples of my cheeks for a pop of
color.

This is a lovely peachy color with a tiny amount of shimmer.

It looks great with my pale complexion.

Very pretty peachy cheek colour. Great for Spring and Summer. The shimmer is not obvious. It just brightens up my face. Love it!

I have 2 JI blushes (this and sheer honey) -- I like them both but this one really rocks and looks excellent. I am sooo fair that I'm always sorta afraid of blushes, but you MUAers were hyping up NARS orgasm so much that when I learned of this mineral makeup alternative, I decided to give it a go. I never ever would have gone peachy except for this site -- so glad for your input, it really does look great! I have ridiculously hypersensitive skin, and this poses no problems for me.
