LOVE this nail polish! I got it on sale at Sally's for $1.99 and I couldn't believe how gorgeous it looked. It is super sheer but I like the way three coats looks on my bare nails. I absolutely love it over different things, it toally changes polish colors - giving them a golden sheen and sometimes making them a shade lighter. I'm so glad I have it, definitely suggest you try it!

I got this polish in sally's on a special discount thinking that this will be fab just like opi and essie is, is a goldy colour, looked more peachy nude in the pot with sparkles so was quite unsure of the colour at first, i don't mind golds as i have OPI CURRY UP DON'T BE LATE. so i got this regardless. paid for it took it home and noticed the bottle wasn't full to the top. i was totally shocked because it almost seemed somebody had used it before but of course hadn't because this is new product on the shelves. its A 18ml polish so i did not complain. i heard from someone else that their china glaze also seemed less full. so that's ok, the colour is quite sheer as disappointing. opis polishes even sheer seem to have more colour depth. so on my application, i noticed that it was quite a sticky and gloopy polish. unlike my essie which is a milky and very easily mixed polish, and opi which is also quite milky in texture but has more durability. i was unsure of this polish but it was not a clumpy polish so have to give it props for that. but i probably wont be repurchasing. its a very 'tacky' polish. what i mean by that is if you use two coats of this it starts to tack up and is very disorientating.
Thanks but no thanks. i'll give it a 3 due to the fact its a ok quality product if you want to rush out and go shopping wearing it. nothing for a formal event. girls if you are unsure. give it a miss. essie is a lot milkier and easier to apply

I was completely taken by how this looks in the bottle - a gorgeous peachy-pink shimmer. On my bare nails, however, it's completely unflattering. It's much more yellow and makes my nails look dirty. But! This polish's saving grace is that I like it layered over other things. I put it on my fingers over a sheer shell pink and it looked gorgeous and delicate; on my toes I layered it over a brownish pewter color and it gave it a nice gold finish.

So on its own: 1 lipstick. Layered over other colors: 4 lipsticks. I called it 3 overall.

Still not sure if I'll repurchase, but nail polishes last me forever so I doubt I'll have to think about it for a while.

Looks utterly unflattering on me. Looks so nice in the bottle - peachy golden colour, but not for me. It looks like I have jaundice when I wear this as it turns yellowish-peachy. Not impressed!

This is such a gorgeous colour - peachy with gold shimmers. I love wearing this on the fingers and the lasting power of this for me is better than any other China Glaze colour. It is sheer so it takes more coats to get complete coverage - not a big deal to me..especially since the polish dries rather quickly. For this colour it is worth it! I recommend this to anyone who wants something subtle on their tips - I'm sure it would also be very pretty to layer.

It's so gorgeous in the bottle, but it's too sheer IMO. Works best as a top coat.

Because I have to constantly monitor my manicure..
(professional reasons), I'm always on the look for good quality
and fashionable colors...

Because I love OPI "Nomad's Dream" and CG "Sex on the BEach"
and "Chiaroscuro" I thought this was in the same frame..

But I was disappointed. Like all CG, it went on like a dream.
The finished product was nice.. but... disappointing?
It was 'meh' on me.

And, to make matters worse: it flaked off after 2 days.
This was after applying 3 coats, and a Seche Vite top coat.

Maybe it's me...

I understand the concept they were going for with this one, but they didn't quite get there. This is very pretty in the bottle but goes on pretty sheer (even after a few coats) and ends up looking like the jaundice. I think that if they put something in the formula to give this a little more opacity it would be a hit.

This is such a gorgeous color...it's a beautiful peachy nude with a warm, but light, golden tone to it. It's not frosty, but shimmery and a little metallic, but still beautiful. I like it because it could go with any season...it's golden hues look beautiful in the fall...in the winter, the icy sheen looks gorgeous...and in spring & summer, the orange and peach colors look awesome.

If I want a fun look, i'll wear this shade alone, two coats & a top coat, but when I want a more polished, solid look, I'll use this over 'Putty in my Hands' from Finger Paints...this is a tanned nude color that just makes the China Glaze color pop beautifully.

The color doesn't chip over two coats & a top coat and will last longer than a week. For less than $5, I got this at Sally's with my Sally's Card when I bought 'Putty in my Hands' from Fingerpaints...they compliment eachother beautifully. The bottle is cute, the color applies nice & even and it will look fabulous with any skintone. (I'm a very fair tone with pink undertones & freckles, & it still looks great on my hands.)

I definitely recommend this color if you're not into using bright, bright colors for daily wear...it's a pretty color but not overbearing.

*The only reason I'm not going to repurchase this is because I never buy the same shade twice, haha. Though this is a beautiful color, I'll be experimenting once I'm out of it.

Meh. On my tanned olive skin, this is sometimes very pretty and other times, depending on the lighting, almost yellow- not attractive!

I love this golden peach/nude shade. IMO Golden Meringue is heavy on the golden element and lighter on the peach/nude side. I wouldn't call the shade glittery but it is opaque. Golden Meringue is a very warm toned shade but still looks lovely on my cool toned pale or self tanned skin.
I haven't experienced any streaking with this color but find that it requires three coats for full color impact where other China Glaze polishes only need two coats.
As with other China Glaze polishes, this is more liquidy than other brands but the wear is excellent. As a pedi, I get at least 7-10 days. I've gone well over two weeks when on vacation or feeling lazy without a problem.
If you're looking for a soft, opaque golden neutral this is a great choice. I will definately repurchase Golden Meringue.

This is a sheer peachy-gold iridescent shimmer. Very pretty but not my style (i'm partial to cremes on my tips). A good iridescent polish for those who don't like the usual iridescent shades that flash blue/pink.

I love this color, it's a pearly peachy gold color. It looks great against warm skin tone. It's kind of like a revved up version of OPI's Kiss the Bride polish. It's easy to apply, even for a color that I think could be potentially streaky.

So, so many compliments on this one--it is truly beautiful with it's apricotty/peachy/gold pearlized self! Hands down, absolutely one of the most gorgeous polishes I have ever seen! Golden Meringue looks spectacular with hand jewelry and really compliments warm skintones. Two coats and I have the bottle color, which is divine.... Love, love, love Golden Meringue! Truly a Holy Grail polish for me. Respectfully submitted, colormepink

Golden Meringue is a really good name for this polish. It is a sheer warm gold with a hint of peach with a pearly finish. 2 coats didn't give me full coverage. It's pretty on me (GGG) but I don't think particularly unique. Work appropriate and it wears reasonably well with base coat and topcoat. I'd probably give a 3.5 if I could.

I'm on the fence with this one. Maybe because it's different than what I usually wear and I just need to get used to it, or it really does absolutely nothing for me. It has a golden-peach shimmer to it, and for layering purposes I think it will make a blah colour look great, but for wearing on it's own, I'll pass. I'm fair skinned, warm toned....maybe I'm just not trendy enough to carry this off. ~grin~

Pretty sheer peachy shimmer that looks a bit too orange on me right now; I'll have to try it on in the summer when I'm more tan. It looks like the perfect polish for toes and for layering over other colours; I just haven't had the chance to try it yet. (Edit: Layered over black, it goes green!)

Color is a sheer peachy gold with slight rosy tones, but the yellowy-gold color is predominant. No shimmer--more like a sheer, slightly pearly finish. Very pretty, though not that great-looking on me at the moment. I'll probably end up using it a lot in the summer when I'm tanner. These are nice nail polishes (great color selection!) that are inexpensive (around 4 USD each) and good quality.

This is a beautiful rose gold sheer nailpolish. It reminds me of MAC Nymphette lipglass which is a HG product. Golden Meringue is a touch too warm for me with two coats so I think next time I will stop at one. Overall this is a very prety, neutral polish for those days where you want to have pretty nails but not a specific colour on them. It truly is a rosey gold colour.
*EDIT* This chipped less than 24 hours after putting it on my nails. Will try again with different base and topcoats cuz I really want this colour to work
