Imp : Lilly, lilly, lilly. Oh please let this not be all lilly.
Wet : Lilly . . . and something else. I'm used to carnation being a spicy scent on me but there's not spice in here. There's a floral in here that my nose just can't peg. It smells as if I stuck my nose deep into a very fresh flower. Interestingly enough when I put my nose to it its a floral yet all around me I spell something akin to greenery and dry pasta.
Dry : Why hello there sweet pea, you apparently smell like dried pasta and are giving me an allergic reaction. This has got to be the most wonky perfume testing I have ever tried. What the heck is going on with my body chem??? This smells like a very nice green floral overall though - like one of those bouquets you can buy from the florist.
Overall : This just isn't me. That combined with the mysterious dried pasta and ever growing reaction which is growing more burny on my arm as I type means its off to the swaps with this. This would be a really gorgeous scent on someone else though. I wanted this to be a good nighttime scent - oh well.
Big Bottle Worthy : Ha ha ha ha ha - no.

Way too soapy and strong on me. One floral (I think it's the lily) came to the forefront and stayed there *all day*. Definitely was long lasting (6 hours and still going strong). But I got really sick of the lily after only 30 minutes.

In Vial: strong perfumey floral
Wet: Blended florals
Drydown: The sweet pea is the strongest with the other notes playing in the background. Great floral if your a fan of sweet pea.

This was a free imp. I haven't tried any lily/sweet pea/carnation combo scent before, and I'm sure I haven't tried any at all with the first and last notes period. I want to know what made this so sickeningly sweet so that I can avoid it in the future; I am indifferent to sweet pea, it must be the carnation or lily, but whatever it is, it is strong. And like usual, this BPAL lasted a looooong time on me. Regardless of the unfortunate pick, I'm happy to have tried this and even happier I didn't pay for it. Better luck next time.

This is a delicate, pretty floral. Waterlily and carnation are what I am sniffing, although I'm not sure I'd recognize sweet pea. The waterlily is very clean, and the carnation spices it up just a tad. This is the tragic scent of what could have been.

shakespeares desdemona was othellos wife and brabantinos mother. she was innocent and pure, a foil to iagos wife emilia
notes: sweet pea, carnation and water lily.
in the vial: im not looking forward to putting this on my skin. it has a high and sickeningly sweet artificial scent.
wet on skin: verrrrrry cloying, yet magically watery at the same time. i absolutely love carnation, and i smell none. its pure sweet pea (and an odd smelling rendition at that.) if i smell any lily at all, its accounting for the stinky scent way in the background.
dry down: still no carnation. still artificial and just plain gross.
verdict: im really starting to see that BPAL florals (save rose and a select few other notes) dont agree with my preferences. many of the scents have the tendency to go powdery, and this is no exception. i suppose i can see how this would be an innocent scent.

Sweet, heady, overdone lily (first impression was gardenia) ... all I smell at first. Then surprisingly clove/carnation (deep spice & floral-sweet) moves in after 30 minutes to center the fragrance, settles, and blends with white floral to a fresh, v. femme scent, like laundry/dryer sheets. This mixture stays close, little sillage - a surprise given the strong beginning. Spiced carnation leaves the final impression, subtle and deep. Decent 4-5 hour staying power.
