This is a nice shampoo that smells absolutely divine. It's a gorgeous, slightly sweet citrus scent with a strong tangerine base. It really wakes me up in the morning and most importantly, leaves my hair feeling soft and clean (but not for long). It doesn't give much volume to my fine (but lots of it) hair that's really irritated, itchy and flaky. But I can't use this over and over again because it gives me buildup and doesn't soothe my scalp at all. it would be a lovely product for those of you with normal hair types; you'll probably be able to use this, no problem. Unfortunately, all of the Herbal Essences shampoos (and conditioners) I've used always leave my hair feeling itchy and greasy just a day or so after - I prefer something that'll leave my hair cleaner for longer.

Love the scent and the way my hair feels after I use it. Really soft, and silky, and smells amazing. Hasn't weighed my hair down yet, and most conditioners do. Will be repurchasing.

I bought this shampoo from Big Lots for only $2.50. The citrus scent is refreshing and the floral tones smells pretty. I was never a big fan of HE shampoos because in the past they made my hair really oily fast and dirty. This one makes my hair smell pretty and shiny all day. Also, I find that my hair doesn't fall out that much when using with the HE citrus conditioner. That's what I like the most. As for extra body, I don't think it gives the poof you want, but that doesn't bother me much since I tend to wear my hair wavy or straight anyway. I would definitely repurchase.

This is the best shampoo. I have long wavy blonde hair and this gives me shiny gorgeous waves. I get soooo many compliments on my hair, everyone wants to know what I use. And I will never tell them!! (They probably think its some mega expensive shampoo) But no, its just Citrus Lift from herbal essences. This just makes my hair so bouncy and soft!! I cant believe I never used it before.

Ewww... I bought the Citrus Lift Shampoo and Conditioner hoping it would give my fine hair some volume... I was dead wrong! This stuff made my hair feel greasy and dirty... no volume whatsoever and I hated the smell. I accidently left it in my (now ex) boyfriends car and I am GLAD I will never see it again!

My favorite shampoo!! Smells so juicy and amazing and wakes me up during my morning shower! This shampoo (with the conditioner) makes my hair so smooth and shiny...can't believe it's such a steal.

I tried this in the formulation for dry hair, and it's awesome, the best shampoo I've used in a long time. I have fine hair that is dry and frizzy on a good day. This shampoo smells amazing, it left my hair feeling so clean and untangled. I followed up with the matching conditioner and mousse and my hair is so shiny!! Highly recomend!!!UPDATE!! After using this shampoo only two more times, it made a mess of my hair! It weighed it down and made it feel plastic-y! I learned my lesson to try a product for a bit before reviewing it!

This shampoo smells amazing. The product was effective (soft, shiny, bouncy hair) on the first and second uses however after that it seemed to build up on my hair. My hair became oily very quickly (yet felt like straw) and looked limp. I started developing zits on my scalp! I stopped using it on my hair and now use it as a body wash - much better. I would never use it again as a shampoo.

This is a review for Citrus Lift Fine Hair, there's only this review for Normal Hair, so I decided to stick it here for convenience... :) I haven't had much luck with any of Herbal Essences's volumizing products, so when I saw this new shampoo, I thought I was just gonna use it once, be disappointed, and throw it away again... Well!!!... I'm here to tell you that I love it! It's such a saving grace for my dry-ends, oily scalp flat looking hair! It really does make my hair look more bouncy and volumized... it's relatively more drying than some of the other shampoos, but I love that too because of my oily scalp... and of course as with any volumizing shampoos, they tend to be a little on the dry side... good to find a volumizing shampoo that actually volumizes from Herbal Essences!

this shampoo smells wonderful, but needs a ton of conditioner to work! immediately after shampooing and rinsing, my hair feels knotted, tangled, and extremely dry -- not healthy or "bodified" at all! its only when i massage a lot of conditioner into my hair that it softens. to be fair, once my hair is dry, it is very smooth, silky and shiny, but my hair has never had this kind of reaction to any shampoo (except when i used suave)! because of this, i will not be buying this again.

I love the way this shampoo smells but unfortunately it makes my scalp really itchy and it left my hair feeling rather dry.It's a shame tho because the scent is just intoxicating.Unfortunately I will not be repurchasing.

I know that I've commented on this already...but i just had to comment again, but i didn't want to edit my other review. This stuff is so wow!! My hair looks so wow!! First of all I have naturally straight hair that tends to lie flat sometimes. Well I heard about this, and a friend recommended this to me so I decided to go ahead and give it a try. I went get my hair that comes about four to five inches from my shoulder layered at my salon and then went out and bought this. I tried it and wow!! It really emphasized my layers and made them flip and gave my hair way more body and volume and shine than I've ever had before!! And it smells just so good!! I really like this stuff and I give kudos to Clairol for coming up with such a brilliant product! I reccomend this to anyone and everyone!!

Herbal Essences has got to be one of the most awesome shampoos on the market. I used to use herbal essences about 3 years ago and i loved it...but i wanted to try new things so i did...and i ended up coming back! and when i found about the new citrus lift products i was so excited....so i went straight to my usual hair care line retailer and bought a bottle of this, the conditioner, the detangler, and the root tips conditioner...and i am so pleased!! i LOVE this stuff and i will definently continue to purchase!! did i mention the delightful scent of this heaven-made hair care line? well...it is out of this world!! it smells just so good!! i will definently be rebuying!!

I'm very impressed with this shampoo.Actually, I bought the kind for Fine Hair because my hair is very fine texture. It smells fanatstic! Like very citrusy and fruity..Its wonderful. It is also great for fine, limp locks. It made my hair very full and body ful with no frizzies or anything...And its pretty cheap. The conditioner works great with it..I'm wanting to try the other citrus lift products too.

Seen this in a Target TV advert.Decided to try the shampoo & conditioner.The shampoo lathers into a rich foam.The conditioner is very thick.I found that you really have to use the conditioner with the shampoo.It lives up to the bodifying claim & leaves a light tangeriney scent behind.Only drawback in my case is that the shampoo after rinsing it leaves my hair very rough feeling and full of tangles.

This review is actually for the Citrus Lift Uplifting Shampoo and Conditioner for FINE hair: First of all, this smells grrrrreat!!!!!! And I would continue to buy it just for the fruity, long-lasting smell. My hair is quite shiny and silky, but there's not much body/volume, especially after using the conditioner. Also, the color of the conditioner was a little shocking b/c it's a bright, raspberry-sorbet color (and I was expecting a peachy-pale-pink color). Overall, there's not much 'lift' to my hair, but I love the smell, and my hair is quite silky, so I'll definitely repurchase.

This is a very pleasant new variation on one of my favorite drugstore shampoo brands. I usually steer away from bodifying shampoos, because most work by piling on the buildup. But I was compelled by the claim that this "uncovers natural volume and shine" and I felt that the presence of citrusy elements such as tangerine and lemongrass would help do that. And it does, quite nicely, while the vitamin E conditions. I feel like you get more natural body than the heavy body that some bodifying shampoos give. And like most Herbal Essences products, this smells heavenly. My husband is an Herbal Essences addict and I have to say I'm usually pretty pleased myself. :)
