This is my signature lip gloss, I've been using it for years! But not only that the color is perfect for me (color is very individual and shouldn't be subject to reviewing), I also love its texture (perfect thickness and it's not too sticky), taste and smell, both mild and pleasant.

Lovely glossimer (as they all are) in terms of staying power for a gloss, creamy texture, and cachet :) This color, unfortunately for some discontinued, does not work for me for several reasons. 1) Gold shimmer is very OTT for me - almost a frost. 2) Warm-toned to the point of making me look sallow, even if I pair with other gently-warm products that work for me. fyi, I have cool skin (NW20), pale blue-grey eyes and medium brown hair.

Please click continued for a swatch. The lip gloss in the background of the pic was Volage.
I wish I can give this a 4.5 for this isn't the very best shade on me. I'm a PPP with freckles fyi.
This is a warm pink with some peach tone loaded with gorgeous gold shimmer. Not OTT and not gritty. This is a very typical glossimer and by this, I'm refering to its gel-like texture, no scent, shiny and opaque (in terms of a lip gloss) properties. When applied for a sheerer results, it provides me with a light pink tint and the peachy tone basically disappeared, lol. But when applied with a heavier hand, it gives a luxurious metallic sheen.

love it. this is the non-sticky version of MAC prrr that i've been looking for. although i'm fairly cool toned, this peachy golden pink makes my face light up. looks good just in tee shirt and jeans or more dressed up. this is my third glossimer (the others are astral (cellophane pink with blue, gold and pink glitter) & wild rose (plummy mauve pink with silver glitter), which, lucky for me, are NOT LE in canada).
have to be careful to put a thin layer or like all metallic glosses, will crease. i love glossimers for their non-sticky texture, and their TRUE flavorlessness. they are not plasticky tasting like NARS glosses nor do they taste of sunscreen like clinique glosses. i am a convert :)
i gave 2 for the packaging quality because as others have noted, these tubes can start to look a bit banged up and cheap after a while. nonetheless, the gloss doesn't spoil, and the doefoot applicator is great, so i love my glossimers. these are my go-to glosses for glassy shine, while dior's creme de gloss is my go-to for a softer, buttery sheen. both are HG for their non sticky texture, pretty colors and inoffensive taste.

This is a medium light yellow-pink metallic gloss with golden shine. To me, this is the perfect pink shade. It doesn't wash me out at all. The color in the bottle is the color it will look on your lips.
It is not sheer at all--it is a metallic finish. I like that this lipgloss shows the color much more than MAC Dazzleglass, which tends to be sheer. However, unlike Dazzleglass, there are no shiny reflect particles in this gloss, only metallic shine.
It is thicker than most other lip glosses but still not sticky.

This is a very lovely ligh pink gloss that goes great with some powerful eye makeup. One of the best lipglosses I've tried - it is prett long-lasting for a lipgloss and had decent pigmentation (so you have some colour, not just the wet look, as it happens with almost all light lipglosses in my case). However it is expensive and I'm surprised that after a year of use the packaging looks bad and cheap - some cheaper products have better and more expensive looking packaging that preserves better). Anyway, this is one of the very few lipglosses that I have almost finished (I'm getting bored very fast) and I actually consider re-buying... If I can't find something similar from MAC (actually Isadora has a pretty similar lipgloss, much cheaper).

Wasn't impressed with this colour. Washed me out! Very pale pink with gold sparkles. Waste of money for me.

The color is really cute in the package.
On my lips though its way to metallic and gold shimmery.
Disappointed I didn't try this before I bought!
Really nice texture though, and moisturizing without being sticky.

I love this gloss, the color is stunning. I bought it in the Duty Free shop in Japan, I couldn't help it. The color literally stopped me in my tracks!! I wouldn't buy it again, though, just because I'm on this budget kick, and I won't spend that much money on a gloss. I would if I could!! Highly recommended!!

This is "the gloss of my life". It is just way too perfect. The texture is impressive, the color really rocks. It is a medium pink that makes your lips fuller and veeeery kissable. :-)

The colour is a frosty yellow pink with lots of golden shimmer. I bought it in wintertime when I was about NC20 and it just did not look right on me: too pink and frosty. Now that I am slightly tanner ( around NC25/30), I rediscoverd it and I can say that it suits me better, but it is still not my favorite, as it gives me this "Barbie look" which is definitely not my style. Besides the colour, the quality of this gloss is very good, as it is not sticky ( in fact, it is surprisingly smooth) and it stays for a relatively long time ( for a lipgloss). If glossimers were cheaper, I would try other colours, but fot this ridiculous price, I do not think that I will.

Chanel glossimers are my favourite lipglosses by far, though £15 (approx $30) in the UK which is just a bit expensive! This is the perfect pink and is quite pigmented for a gloss. Others have reported a gold shimmer, I don't see the gold though it just looks sheen-y on me. It makes me feel like a Barbie doll and I love it! The texture is fairly thick so you only need a small amount and somehow the formula is so it isn't sticky, yet stays on longer than so many other glosses (including sticky ones). The packaging on the glossimers is great, always looks classy and stays looking lovely. I think I will be buying it again when I've ran out!

I wish we could rate things with a 0.5 scale. I'd give this gloss a 3.5. The quality of Chanel glosses are great in my opinion but this color just didn't work for me. For reference I am MAC NC25, Shiseido I20, Biotherm 420. Volage is a light pinky color with gold sheen. The color applies quite opaque and frosty, which shows up nicely pigmented on my medium pigmented lips. Maybe I am not used to wearing color & i'm not bold enough but when I wear Volage I feel like it's too pink and frosty. It makes me feel like a Barbie doll (and not a pretty one).

This was my first Chanel makeup purchase, and it was a good introduction to the line. Volage is that rare light pink with gold shimmer that doesn't look frosty or too pale. This works well layered or on its own, and isn't too sticky or goopy. I'm not crazy about the smell and the packaging isn't great as a lot of gloss gets pushed out of the tube and mucks up the top of the tube, but overall it's a winner. Apparently it's been discontinued, so I'll have to look for a close match whenever I run out.

This used to be my HG. Of course, ot got discontinued, but I tracked it down through a swap. Unfortunately, the drawbacks to the old school glossimers (dries out quickly) had already taken effect on the tube that I got, which kind of sucked. It's a lovely light pinky-peach color with gold pearl - quite pigmented (unlike the new glossimers). RIP!

I love this gloss. It is one of my stables in my makeup bag. It looks good with all my lipsticks coral or pink or over a gold color lipstick in the summer. Love it.

This is my first Glossimer, which I bought because of the descriptions of the gloss texture - I see that other reviewers have indicated that this has been DC'd, but I just bought it in Europe. Can't say I'm disappointed at all by the texture, frost level and very pretty peachy-pink color. It almost reminded me of a pinker version of Nars Orgasm lipgloss, which I also have. Anyway, I love this gloss texture (I like thicker glosses) - it stays put longer than normal for a gloss, and you get slightly opaque coverage with a decent amount of shimmer that is not at all over the top for daywear. Very pretty, fresh-looking peachy pink that will probably look good on a lot of people. A real winner. I said I wouldn't repurchase this one only because I am very fickle about lippies, and like to try new things - this one just isn't unique enough to motivate me to buy this particular shade again.
