I find this blush to be over average. It is very soft and works well with a variation of foundations. I bought this in the color Ginger (a muted apricot with shimmer) which is a soft and toned down color. It adds warmth and a bit of highlight to the cheeks.

I have taken away 1 point as while the packaging is beautiful, the silver color of the plastic case tends to chip off quite easily. This has happened to my powder and highlighter case.

But all the said, I will definately buy this blush again.

I bought this color in Voodoo, which is a gorgeous sheer blackberry color that gives my cheeks that healthy just-in-from-the-cold look. It is also a great lip color that stays put without sinking into the fine lines.

The only problem is that it is a very, very small tube for $20. If I were to apply this to my lips and cheeks every day, I would be out of the tube in a week. Therefore, I am saving it for those emergency, need a quick, portable makeup routine days.

Colorscope blushes are Prescriptives newest blushes. They actually include the highlighters under the blush category. The pans retails for $17.50 and come in a plastic clamshell. if you want a case for these, they have two sizes. The medium which holds 4 shadows or two blushes or one blush and two shadow retails for $6 and is a pretty silver and white. There is also a large available. The majority of the new highlighters are nice. Cool dark highlighter is in the blue/red family. a shimmery mauvey pink shade. Goes nicely with my nc30 light olive complexion. Not too cool. Super pretty over their blush to highlight the cheekbones and add color.

This is a beautiful highlighter or, if used alone, a really pretty blush.
It has been difficult to find a blusher that looks natural. Most of them end up looking painted on and too solid in color. I bought the Colorscope Cheek Color Highlighter in Cool Light as I have blue/red tones. It is a very light, rosy/peach looking shade in the pan with a hint of shimmer. When it is applied, it looks natural and soft on my skin and gives a subtle, natural appearance of "blushing' as opposed to "painted on." It comes in a rectangular pan. Since the store was out of compacts, I have to hold my breath and hope I don't drop and break this pretty blush/highlighter.
