The only reason I would buy this product again is because my husband initially bought it for me and enjoys it. Typical fruity floral and not really complex. Does not dethrone Pink Sugar Sensual as my all time favorite scent. That said, it's a keeper.

I tried it the other day at Guess outlet-this is very pleasant fresh floral. I am pretty picky when it comes to floral fragrances and this one is very pretty and young. Peony, magnolia, jasmine-these are all my favorite flowers especially peony and this scent smells mostly of peony and magnolia with musk drydown. In my opinion it has much better lasting power than lot of other floral fragrances out there(Love Unlimited, I am talking to you!). If you are a fresh floral lover, I highly recommend it. Picture walking in the garden in the early morning, as sun rises and warms up the flowers around and you will smell their heady freshness. This is what I picture when I smell this scent. Btw, I layered it with Cherry Blossom lotion from BBW, its blends quite well together

I bought this at big lots today for $24.99 after deciding to get this over Britney Spears's "fantasy" and I now wish that I bought fantasy instead. This scent lasts not even 30 mins on me and its way too light for my liking! Not impressed :(

I love this perfume on me. for some reason, i find that guys tend to like this scent on girls.. i have got so many comments from guys when i wear this one especially! But one thing i feel it that, you have to use it sparingly. its a very strong floral- fruity scent and if you spray it multiple times, it can cause you nausea! So use it sparingly and it lasts forever, like no joke! Its a defo repurchase for me! xx

The original Guess for women is a crisp and fruity floral. More so a day time perfume then evening, though I dislike labelling perfumes that way. Its quite strong and I found it to be long lasting.. I am not in love with it anymore, same with my Guess Gold perfume.
It opens in accords of berries along with apricot, blueberry, nectarine and a juicy peach. The base notes are vanilla and musk though I don't notice those too much personally. The bottle design is simple yet cute. Also you can now purchase this for very cheap at Walmart compared to when it launched in 2003.
Overall I wouldn't repurchase solely because I feel like I have out grown this but I would still recommend it more so to people my age and below.

Like other reviewers, I find this perfume very average. I put 3s all around in fact. It's a crisp floral that lasts about 6 hours. Tangerine, Green Apple, Freesia, Pink Peony, Muguet, Peach, Red Fruit, Cedar Wood, Amber, and Skin-Musk are listed as the notes. I guess the peony and freesia, I smell, but not as individuals, just as a mix of florals. Not even a touch of musk or fruit. I can see teenagers my age considering this perfume to be heavenly because it's not prominent in any sort of way. Way too boring for me. Lid gets kind of annoying to open, too.

This perfume is a textbook example of a 3/5. It's good but not great. The best word to describe it would definitely be unremarkable. As many other reviewers have mentioned, it smells pretty much like every other generic fruity floral out there. Still, with all that said, I think it smells nice and unoffensive but it certainly isnt the most unique perfume on the market especially because pretty much everyone and their mother has it. I got ithe 75mL eau de parfum spray on sale for $20 so I'm not too miffed about the price but I definitely wouldn't have bought it if it were for its regular price simply because it's not worth it.

It smells really good on me :) Packaging is very elegant in pink thou it's quite pricey (as sold locally). My hubby loves it on me! would definitely repurchase.

I received this perfume as a gift from my husband. To me and on me, it smells very floral with a hint of fruitiness. It's a scent I would have never bought for myself. I generally like soft, sweet scents, but sweet in a vanilla way, not a floral way. I find this a little too strong for my liking so I use it sparingly ( I wear it for my husband 'cause he thinks it smells great on me. Lol). I think someone who enjoys girly, floral/fruity scents would really like this. It's also good for Spring or Summer nights.

Love leads us to strange paths sometimes, and in my case, my love for all things Maurice Roucel led me to the Guess counter, a destination I guess I would otherwise not arrive. I had high hopes, and I was assured by the notes: I would be greeted by some good citrus and greens going hand in hand with his famous and sumptuous magnolia. Some dancing berries and an easy-going musk. I got none of this or anything coherent, for that matter. Instead, I was hit, strangely, by a synthetic and tough cherry- praline- cough syrup note, something like stale chocolate with a plastic cherry garnish. This olfactory attack subsided and gave way to some light, inoffensive but kind of chirpy florals. I didn't smell any apricot or peach - I wish I could. The drydown was miles away from the strong opening and pretty clean. On the right person, this could be an everyday fragrance I suppose; whereas on me, it was unimpressive and cacophonic.

I absolutely hate the bottle, but the 'Guess' fragrance is surprisingly very romantic if worn sparingly. It's floral notes give it a bite that suits the season of spring perfectly. I also find it brings a catty factor to your attitude. This might just be me though.

I liked it in the store, but when I actually put it on it smelled like Windex. Everyone's body chemistry, but I can't recommend it.

NEVER will I buy this product EVER again! I repeat w/ definite certainty. First of all, I had this perfume for about 4-5 years, don't even think I've used 25% of it. I used to like it and I liked the fact that it's strong and long lasting. But also stopped using it because I realized it was just too strong for people w/ sensitive noses, ex. my dad cannot stop sneezing even though he's driving while I'm at the back on the opposite side. Moving on, recently I decided to give it another try and the scent was different. It turned to this very nasty and stale smell, just un-wearable so I had to wash it off immediately.

Not exactly sure why... but I think this scent just smells okay and like many other perfumes. I really don't have much of an opinion on it... I know there are better ones.

Guess by Marciano (2008) has the following notes: Cardamom, Curacao Orange, Star Fruit, Grapefruit, Pink Honeysuckle, Peony, Crystle Jasmine, Musk, Vanilla, Dulce de Leche, Blonde Wood.
I love this fragrance! Very soft, no bitter notes, very pretty. Would definitely purchase this one again. I believe it's only carried at Macy's right now, but I got a great deal on a tester on eBay.
I'm not great at deciphering or describing specific notes, but I definitely detect soft fruity and floral notes at first, and the vanilla and woody notes at dry-down. It may also help to know that I also love Lolita Lempicka, Angel, Frapin 1270, Botrytis, Celine Dion Belong (I think most of these are considered spicy orientals), as well as vanilla-y scents like Lavanila Vanilla Grapefruit.

Although I do agree that this smells very similar to so many other perfumes out there (I think it smells so similar to Maybe Baby by Benefit), I really do like it. It's a bit stronger than Maybe Baby, IMO. When first sprayed, immediately it is quite sharp, but it softens very shortly after. I guess I would describe it as a fruity-floral. I find the lasting power to be pretty good, too. It's a pleasant scent, and although it's pretty, it's also forgettable. I wouldn't buy it again simply because it's not HG material for a scent, at least not for me, and by the time I'm close to finishing my bottle of it, I'll probably be tired of it and ready to try something else.
