What a gorgeous color! Perfect peachy-salmony-rosey hue for my NW15 skin and deep auburn hair! I may buy 2 more to have one everywhere. As with all the Revlon S/L lipsticks, I love the texture, lack of taste, lack of smell, wish the packaging were more elegant. I have yet to pay more than $5 for one. Even if a color is a "miss" (Fire & Ice, Sandalwood: I'm talking about you), I don't regret buying because I'm not out too much money.

My HG lippie! have almost finished my second tube. Got the first one in a GWP and just fell in love with the shade. Its creamy, velvety, highly pigmented and such a warm neutral shade that is universally flattering. Not many dupes out there either. My only peeve is that the lids of Revlon lipsticks tend to come off and have more than once smeared the inside of my purse of cosmetic bag.

I've just reached the nub of this lipstick. 'Ginger Rose' is a medium dusty pink with brown tones and has a creme finish. It's a gorgeous MLBB (My lips but better shade) on my medium skin-tone. Formula is very creamy and moisturizing and glides on smoothly without accentuating dry patches or seeping into cracks/lines. Lasting power is average for me (about 3 hours). Revlon makes some of my favourite lip products, so yes, I think I will make a repurchase!

The moment that the cosmetic girl applied this onto my lips, I just got blown away by how it looks pretty on me. The color just suits my olive skin and my lip shape. Im glad I found this.

Ginger Rose is a practically perfect peachy pink shade. It has some luminous glow to it, but isn't a pearle or frost. It says it's a cream... and it glides on very nicely. The pigment is good too. Revlon Super Lustrous is a dependable line for me. I almost never hate one of their lipsticks. It's smooth, creamy, and goes on evenly. As you can see by the pics, it's not too light or too dark. If you are very tan then of course it's going to be stark looking on you, but you won't look like a corpse as someone suggested.

I'm eurasian with light to medium skintone, NC30-35, and this color is EXACTLY the color of my lips. In fact whenever I have this on, somebody ought to comment on "natural" rosiness of my lips (hehhehe they didn't know... :). This shade is meant to enhance, and I usually pair it up with strong eyes. I like the new packaging better than older ones (the one with slanted cap) and it stays shut just fine. (Big deal for me when it comes to drugstore lipsticks, *hello Maybelline...!!!). It has a very, very faint scent that I quite like too, but no taste and quite moisturizing. So five stars from me.....!!

I love this, so much.
On me it's a MLBB with a dash of coral, I guess that's the ginger? I wear it to work when I'm not feeling a rose lipcolor--maybe I wore brown that day and want to mix things up.
It's a dewy color that lasts, my lips don't dry out and I don't have to reapply.

I fell in love with this color the moment I saw it on my lips. This color can be described as a nude pink with warm undertones (at least on my lips). The creme forumla applies easily and is quite moisturizing. I don't find myself reaching for lipbalm between touchups or any drying effects such as Revlon's Matte lipsticks.
A lippie off for the oldschool cheap packaging; compared to the Colorburst, these tubes look like they were made back in the 80's. Price paid was $3.99 CDN, regular price ranges from $8.99 - 10.99 CDN at various drugstores.

This is such a versatile nude lipstick that I absolutely have become addicted to! The colour appears to be a soft & feminine peachy-rose-brown that compliments my fair complexion and diverse makeup looks. My two fave quick daytime looks to pair this lipstick with are:
1. Peachy-pink blush with a soft neutral eye. Usually MAC's Arena on the lid, Wedge in the crease, and Jest on the brow bone.
2. Pink blush with a smoky brown and pink eye. Usually MAC's Gleam (or All that Glitters or Naked Lunch) with Cork in the crease and Charcoal Brown in the V.
This lipstick's formula is creamy and has a smooth texture. Wears well throughout the day and doesn't dry out my lips. A staple in my collection.

Love this perfect rose (on the side of the scale being warm/terracotta toned perfect with peachy/rose/coral toned makeup schemes). This and Smokey Rose by revlon are fantastic. Slightly creamier texture this one though, only thing is I find it clings to my teeth for some reason but still love it.

One of the best pink nude lipsticks! This one works on me, a warm fair to fair medium girl, and it works well for my cool olive medium to dark medium friend! Texture is quite good, not too soft but creamy enough. It's like a slighty lighter version of Mac Cosmo on me but a fraction of the price - how can you go wrong with that?

This is my least favorite Revlon lipstick, and I own about 10 of them. Let me tell you why I dislike it. When you peer down into the window, the lipstick bullet suggests that you are going to get a gingery rosy nude bordering on MLBB lipstick color. Looks soft and feminine, and perfect for the warm weather months. What you actually get is the color that morticians use on the deceased when they are preparing them for their final viewing. You know, that color that the mourners are seeing when they are whispering to each other..."but she just looks so natural, it's amazing", all the while thinking "good gracious, she looks so plastic and DEAD!" Anyhoo, I don't know what is the deal with this particular s/l lipstick, because while I usually really like the formula , this one goes on absolutely awful! It's not right....it's kind of like a lipstick tinted concealor...very heavy and cheap looking and it pulls grey on me! I'm giving it a 2, only because I can blot it and put a pinky gloss on it and actually wear it out of the house, but I don't like to HAVE to tweak my lipsticks in this manner....I much prefer to just swipe and go. I would have returned this, but I bought it at Kmart, and Kmart hasn't evolved to the point of letting the consumer return makeup mistakes, even if you offer to exchange it :(

When I purchased this, I kind of wanted to be able to test it and see if it would look good on my skin tone but I was also happy that it was wrapped because I knew that it was not tested on. This does not have any chemical smell at all. My lips also feel moisturized. The only thing that made me sad is that it's not quite my color. It is a nice nude with a slight pink in it. Great for everyday and a smokey eye look.

Really is a peachy rosy nude. Not HG, but a nice everyday color that goes well with just about anything. I love the Revlon SL formula. Very comfortable to wear.

Very nice color, a muted rose that works well with my very pale coloring. It applies pretty well, lasts pretty well, and doesn't break off in the tube. However, my one complaint is that it's a little too thick and creamy in a way that sits on top of the surface of your lips unless you blot heavily. Not my HG but pretty close for everyday wear.

I'm sorry to be the dissenter on this product, but I really feel that it's inferior, even for the price.
Although the color is very nice, a slightly rosier-than-nude hue, the texture and finish is horrible. It really looks like a cheap lipstick. I can't put my finger on what it is. Maybe it's not creamy enough to really penetrate and meld with the lips, so it just bums around on top of them in a far-from-appealing way.
Most of my lipstick experience has been with Clinique's, all from their GWP's. I can say without hesitation that their lipsticks look much, much, better, even if the color is completely off. And I'm sure there are many, many other brands of lipsticks out there that, for their performance, are worth the money. Even with a BOGO free, this wasn't worth it.

I LOVE this lipstick and this colour. Here is why:
The Colour: It is a perfect warm toned peachy nude with a rose undertone. My other HG colour is Blushing Nude, which is another creme in this line. I use Ginger Rose for a pale nude, and Blushing Nude for a darker nude and alternate depending on my outfit or how much self tanner I slapped on lately.
I have a very light redhead skin (pale ivory, with freckles, golden undertone) andI have dark auburn hair. My lips have a fair amount of colour naturally.
I think this colour would suit a lot of golden skin tones and would suit everyone from pale to darker mid tones.
There is no scent or flavour that I can detect! What a relief!
This is a decently moisturizing lipstick, something my 50 plus lips require! I have trouble with dry flaky lips but this lipstick is plenty moisturizing.
It doesn't bleed! For those with lip lines, you know what I mean. Too much moisture usually equals bleeding, but this one doesn't and it still isn't dry, and keeps my lips soft and smooth.
I have a general complaint about round lipstick cases though, THEY ROLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everywhere! Off the counter onto the bathroom floor or worse, launching themselves into the toilet. (and from there they get demoted to the trash).
So Revlon if you are listening, go square please! But not with that dratted little nub and slot that L'Oreal has.
But on the plus side, it is easy to see into the lipstick case before buying, as it has a clear top.

ohmigosh, what a lovely pink-rosy-neutral shade! Goes with all my smokey eye looks. Walgreens is having a BOGOF revlon lippy sale, so I picked up the new matte shades, liptint, and this classic SL lipcolour. I'm not kidding, the color selection, packaging, and texture of Revlon SL lipsticks is so comparable to the very HE brands like dior and lancome, w/o the fragrance. Yay!
