I got this at Meijers in their clearance bin, so it is probably soon to be discontinued. I like the color, and it goes on nicely, but you definitely have to moisturize your lips first or afterwards because alone, it dries them out. It's a brownish dark red, maybe a little too red for me, but it was cheap as hell ($1.75) so I bought it, hoping it would work for me. It has an old stale smell to it, though so I put some Burt's Bees lip shimmer in nutmeg over it so it's minty. I'm trying to finish up the nutmeg, so I'm using that. Any nice smelling gloss would do. It does look nice on my light golden olive complexion, and it does leave a stain so you don't have to reapply, just put gloss over it if you don't like matte lips.

I have this in Chocolate (310) and Sepia (295). The texture of this lipstick is light and silky and it wears beautifully. I love that I can apply it and not have to constantly check myself in the mirror....it just always looks good. It's not that highly pigmented, but it still seems to leave a bit of a stain on your lips after eating/drinking. I adore the Chocolate color, a soft brown-red. Sepia is almost identical, but with a little more coral, which I don't like as much.

I really wish Max Factor would update the packaging. I love that I've found a high-quality product at a drugstore price...but the clunky, metallic-gray plastic case is hideous and about 3 times the size of a normal lipstick case. It's like a throwback to the 1980s!

I bought shade 225, Citrine, which is a great rose-y pink with a hint of coral. It's smooth, lightweight, has staying power and the colour is very flattering to my skin. Bravo!
My only complaint is the tube itself, it seems like Max Factor is chintzing out on the manufacturing. One of the things I loved about Lasting Colour (RIP) was the nice, heavy feel of the lipstick tube itself. My HG lipstick is Lasting Colour in Sepia - I bought 6 tubes on Ebay when I found out they discontinued it.

Wow, I just love this! I'm not a huge fan of Max Factor products (I think their mascaras stink, despite high Productville ratings) but I am definitely stocking up on these lipsticks. First, I like the formula: smooth, lightweight, creamy but not greasy-feeling and with a slightly glossy finish. There's no taste and only a faint "lipstick" scent that I don't notice after application. "Chocolate" is a beautiful, earthy berry-rose with strong brown tones. I apply it lightly and my lips look ripe and sexy :) Looks great with my PPP-MMM/AAB complexion (yellow undertones), especially now that it's winter and I'm rather pale. Max Factor was 50% off at my local Rite Aid (I think MF is repackaging to make everything match the new Lash Perfection packaging) so the price was great. *Fingers crossed* that they don't discontinue this shade.

The Colour Perfection lipsticks continue to impress. I have Peony and Posey, and I love both colors, and love the formula as well. (I never loved Max Factor lip products, but they really have a winner with this one.) Now, on the recommendation of you MUAers, I have Chocolate, which is a color I never would have tried otherwise! I have been thinking about buying a brown lipstick for a while to complete my minimalist collection, but I have been wary of buying a lipstick that turns to Death Brown on my lips (you fairer-skinned ladies know what I'm talking about!). This is PERFECT - it's barely a stain, just a slightly glossy redwood-ish color on my lips. Gorgeous!

I'm so glad I read the reviews and tried this! The texture of the lipstick is so smooth and weightless--it also leaves a beautiful stain and doesn't leave my lips parched or pale. I have two shades, Chocolate and Sepia. Chocolate looks dark in the tube but when applied, it's a YLBB shade that lasts for HOURS. It fades nicely and doesn't require frequent reapplication. Sepia is slightly redder and darker than Chocolate, in my opinion. I love both shades.

I usually avoid lipsticks because I find them too drying..but with this I have no problems. I like to "tap" this on my lips-which gives it a beautiful berry stained look. The staying power of this product is impressive. I have no idea why this is called Chocolate because with my skin (Stila IPF 60 watts/MAC NC40) it looks like a medium berry with a semi-gloss finish.

I have this in Chocolate-- number 310(?) It's a warm brownish/mauvy red which goes so well w/my olivy MMM skin. It stays on when i eat/drink and doesn't get patchy. instead, it wears down layer by layer evenly across the lips until you are left with just a slight stain of color. looks very soft and natural. feels moisturising. i never have to reapply unless im going out in the evening. i can't believe how much i like this shade and the gel formula. i reach for this almost every day. definitely feels like a high-end lippie. my only gripe is that the tube is a bit unwieldy.

I have this in Chocolate but the color number is 310. It's a lovely warm reddish brown which is works well on my olive skin. It lasts well through a light meal and even at the end of dinner there's a bit of a stain of color still on the lips. It's not as long lasting as the Lipfinity but it's a little softer looking and more moisturising. The Lipfinity Everlites are a good improvement on texture from the old formula but the certainly don't add any moisture. I have to be religious about moisturizing at night while using those. These are more like a lipstick. Reapplication is easier, too. Topping it with a clear gloss makes for a great dramatic look, too. I like the new Colour Perfection gloss. Not sticky at all.

This is no Lipfinity but it lasts very well, I just had a bowl of cereal and I still had a respectable amount of even colour after. It's also very lightweight and comfortable, has really nothing to envy of high-end lipsticks. The colour is nothing like chocolate, but a rosy brown. It's more matte than anything but with a very soft sheen. I think it can take you from day to night if need be as it's not in your face but not too light either. I would buy more of these if I weren't addicted to Lipfinity at the moment. The packaging is my only complaint: although sturdy and therefore adequate, is clunky, too long and the cap needs some 'persuasion' to close completely.
