Bought this few months ago and just try for a couple of days then set it aside aside because I just get a slightly matte skin after application it didn't do much for my skin.
But, recently while fixing and sorting out my beautifying stuffs I chance upon this again and was reading the instruction written n the bottle and that it claims that after 2 weeks of regular use it will deliver a soft skin... so I thought I did not allow the product to work for 2 weeks or so... SO, I decided to try it again and have been using it religiously already on my 5th day now and I can say it is good! my skin is glowing and starting to refine so far I am satisfied and will finish the bottle.
Will repurchase.

The only good thing I can say is the nice packaging. At least for me, this lotion is junk. After all its hype, it does not absorb well and leaves a tacky feeling. After 2 months of usage, I also see no visible improvements at all.

The price wasn't at all cheap to me and also a waste of my money. I've seen NO improvements to my skin and pores after weeks of usage that I've totally discarded the bottle to the very corner of my dressing table.
But I have to agree that it does gives a matte look to the skin upon application,feels very light and sinks into my skin very fast. Scent wise I like it and am comfortable with it too.

I have oily skin and large pores. My oily skin was saved from my HG Loreal anti-regreaser moisturizer, which completely wiped out all the oil for a full 12 hours.
And then I decided to work on my pores.
I bought and applied this skin refiner on my skin and my skin immediately felt smooth and matt. The pores do get minimized and my complexion has become better after only 2 applications of the skin refiner.
The skin refiner is best used in conjunction with the loreal pure zone anti-regreaser moisturizer.
This is a great product!
As regarding the comment that we have to take this for life, all beauty products have to be taken for life. If you skip your SK-II, your skin will go back to the same old self.
That's life!
Great job Loreal. Coz you rarely came out with a really good one and this is the one.

I went thru two tubes cos I find that it does makes my pores look smaller although temporarily.
It's quite harsh and drying and it's supposed to be used with moisturizer.
I eventually stopped as I find it very troublesome to do so many steps. Plus I find that the effects are really temporary which means I have to use it for life?

Try the Skin Refiner Toner. I was skeptical at first as well but did see visible improvement. Best to use after cleansing milk (doesn't have to be L'Oreal!!). It does give face the matte look and has a cool feel. It have got to be one of the best and inexpensive tone I've ever used.

Tried a sample of this last night. It promised that you'll notice a difference after just one use. I'm usually very sceptical about "You'll notice the difference overnight!" claims, so this really surprised me when it lived up to the claim.
My pores were definitely smaller, and my skin felt smoother and finer - this was after applying it last night. I used it again this morning before makeup.
I'll definitely purchase the full-sized product. It's great for anyone who wants to 'refine' their skin and shrink their pores.
