I have normal scalp and split ends. I hate to condition my hair because i hate how conditioner give that slippery feel on my hands. I do not visit the salon for anything else but a trim or a haircut and which means, i go to the salon like 2 times max a year. So from all that damage i get from sun and heat styling tools, my hair got repaired by just a wash from this shampoo. No more split ends, no more dry damaged hair. Its so good to know you only need shampoo to mantain your hair. I bought this at SGD$14.50 thats like twice the price of a normal shampoo, but worth it. Its sunny and humid here so i shower 2 to 3 times a day and shampoo my hair and scalp. If u have very long hair, about 1.5 pump is more than enough, anything more than that will leave your scalp greasy.

Got sucked into buying this from a salon.Way cheaper shampoos ( cough..Herbal Essence..cough have worked far better with my highlighted hair. Will have to go with a ready script ( ie I have a ton of shampoos at home) when I go into next time to not get "taken" again.I keep forgetting salons mark this stuff up horribly. Gaa.

First time I tried this, I liked it but didn´t love it. As I kept using it, I got tired of it because it didn´t really do much good for my hair, and I got tired of the synthetic smell.

I have a love/hate relationship with this shampoo. I have oily roots and damaged ends from bleaching and using hot tools, and it's difficult for me to find shampoos and conditioners that really clean my hair and still moisturize my ends without weighing my hair down.
First of all, I love the scent of this. It has a fruity/floral scent that isn't overpowering and lingers in your hair for a few hours after washing. The shampoo is creamy and easy to work with and doesn't leave too much residue in my hair or on my scalp. It thoroughly cleans my hair while still making it really soft, shiny, and manageable.
But because this is so moisturizing, I find that I can only use it about once a week. I've tried using this daily, and by Day 3 my hair will be super greasy and limp. It's a shame, because I really like what this does for my hair, but simply due to my hair type, I cannot use it more than once a week.
Also, this stuff is pretty expensive. I got the 250ml bottle, which is pretty small, for about $25. I'm a poor college student and even though I don't use this that often, I still find I run out of it pretty quickly and I can't always afford to repurchase it right away.
If you have extremely dry and damaged hair, you might love this as a daily shampoo. However, if your hair is slightly oily, I wouldn't recommend use of this too often. But I still say give this a shot, because I always have a good hair day when I use this!

This shampoo did wonders to my heavily chemical treated hair. My hair is just chin length. After shampoo, they just piled up and sits on top of my head. I can only finger comb it after applying some leave in conditioner/treatment (despite having used rinse off conditioner).
Until this shampoo came along. I was given a trial pack to use. After a wash, even before I use any rinse off conditioner, my hair no longer stays on top of my head in rough stack. It now hands down from my head! Amazing. I can really feel the difference in my hair texture with this shampoo.
I have since gone on to purchase the half litre bottle and this will stay till if I am given something better to try.
Oh, I now touch my hair throughout the day, feeling how moisturised they are now, compared to how they used to be, dry and rough!

I have used this product for about four years now and have always loved it together with the conditioner. About 8 months to a year ago they suddenly made a change to the ingredients which I didn't notice, unfortunately I had just brought 2 massive bottles! I looked more carefully on the front of the bottle, just underneath the word Absolut Repair Cellular in quite small writing in a box was the word "Lactic Acid ". Ever since they have changed the ingredients I cannot use it as it leaves a really horrible residue on my hair, a bit like feeling greasy and dull. So be aware as for me it's definitely not a change for the better.

This is an amazing shampoo. About 8 months ago I dyed my hair from black to platinum blonde. What a mistake to make! My once super shiny, thick and long black hair transformed to a heap of mess with straggly ends, brittle, and absolutely no shine. YUCK! I re dyed my hair back to black, and got the hairdresser to cut off the rat matt tails. She recommended this to help repair my hair. I have never looked back. In fact my hair looks better now than pre dye (except for the short length.) It is more glossy and soft. I use this in conjunction with the accompanying masque and I love it. Plus, the scent is divine-floral like. It isn’t that expensive either. I have the 500 ml bottle and masque and its lasted for 3 months…Not sure how much is left but that seems pretty good!

I don't like this at all. Btw I do love this conditioner. But the shampoo doesn't clean my hair very well, it leaves behind a residue and my scalp becomes itchy and greasy after one day and it starts to feel grosse And matted. Never buying again.

This shampoo has restored my hair, hair is glossy, feels heavier and very well nourished. Comparing to Kerastase the result is the same, price is much lower. I have a 500ml bottle which comes with a convenient pump. Could not expect better results from this product. The only minus for me is that this shampoo makes my hair greasy quicker than other products (same with Kerastase), so only use it every second wash, which still works great. Will buy again when run out.

This shampoo and conditioner have been a miracle for my hair. I had done severe damage with bleach and heat styling, i ended up having to cut off over 6 inches of hair and i still had damage, a stylist friend recommended this combo and boy does it ever work, my hair's conditon had improved remarkably! as a student the price makes me cry but i cant argue with the results!

With my dry and chemically damaged hair, I've been searching high and low for a product which would soften, detangle and be gentle while cleansing thoroughly. Sunsilk dried my hair out, while other 'moisturising' shampoos just didn't cut it due to the disgusting residue left behind on my hair. I found my answer three years ago when my stylist used this to great effect - this shampoo!
Though this is pretty expensive (S$36 for 1200ml), I think every dollar is worth it. Yes, it doesn't lather much - and in my experience, most salon brands don't. If you're expecting a vertiable cloud of foam, and that thoroughly-stripped-squeaky-clean feeling, jusst save your dollars and go for body soap. While at first I wasn't used to the lack of lather, I overcame it by massaging my hair and wetting it thoroughly with water before massaging the shampoo in. Works like a charm. Of course, if you're less stingy, you can always use a larger amount of product, or shampoo twice. The shampoo girls at salons always use shampoo like it's free, anyway.
I loved the creamy consistency of this shampoo - rich and luxurious! Plus, it softens and detangles my hair. Sometimes I'm tempted to just skip the conditioner. On a sidenote, since I'm a clean freak plagued with a horribly oily scalp, it pleases me greatly that, despite the lack of lather, once you rinse it off you can feel how nice and clean your scalp is!
Best of all was the smell - a wonderfully refreshing fruity-floral scent that will linger long after you've styled your hair! My friends once smelled it when the wind blew in my direction and asked me what perfume I was wearing - was she surprised to know that I hadn't applied any! It is also a smell that doesn't give me a headache - unlike some shampoos with that horrible powdery smell. I've lost sleep over such horrible shampoo smells before (yes I know it's pretty weird) but this stuff just keeps me feeling fresh, confident and perky and comforts me at night in my sleep. Also, since I live in a tropical climate, my hair tends to smell musty after a while. I have found that with this shampoo, my hair smells great down to the next shower!
The aftereffects of shampooing are amazing. My hair feels soft, smooth and is tangle-free! A HG product :)
My only complaint is that the bottle doesn't come with a pump. However, the 600 ml ones does come with a pump, but I'm not too inclined to buy those since the pump tends to fall apart after the second refill.
Overall, it is a shampoo that has served me well for the past couple years. Although it contains sodium chloride, I have decided to stop picking apart the ingredient list and just enjoy the effects. If you are looking for a gentle product that smells great, is conditioning but cleanses well, you should give this a go! It worked for me, it should work for you!

My hairdresser introduced me to this product about two years ago now. I don't even need to use conditioner for this stuff to make my hair soft and the smell, I wish everything I owned smelled like this stuff, it's heavenly. It's pretty expensive but you don't need to use that much and for me is worth it because it keeps my hair healthy and shiny. I have short hair now but when my locks were longer, I didn't need to work them as much as past experiences to get them to look good, I was even able to stop using metal brushes to get the desired look. I will probably never use another shampoo so long as L'Oreal is making this baby.

I have fine, chemically treated hair, oily roots and damaged ends. I also blow dry/straighten my hair almost everyday. I used the whole Absolute Repair line and hated it with a passion. I have never had a worse hair day in my life. My hair was left greasy, puffy, coarse, opaque... And none of the products even smell good. I don't recommend the mask/conditioner/serum and *especially* the shampoo to anyone with fine or oily hair, no matter how damaged you think your hair is. If you're looking for a real repair/reconstruction, go with the Force Vector line instead.

Been using it for a month or 2 now. Overall very impressed by the results.
Pro's:
-It's not thát expensive (paid 12 euro for 500 ml)
-Makes hair feel conditioned
-Very rich and moisturizing. Really works.
Con's:
-It's strength is also it's weakness.. It is very rich. That is why my (fine) hair does get greasy more guickly than when I don't use this and sometimes feels a little 'weighed down'. However it's richness is also the reason it works, I guess< :-).
Edit: I have to say although my hair got less dry after using this, I got sick of having to wash my hair everyday because it got so greasy and weighed down. I think this product isn't suitable for very fine hair. It does moisturize but the thing is it makes my (fine) hair limp and greasy, and that's not a pretty look. So I would not repurchase.

I'm really satisfied with this shampoo! 2 months ago my wavy coloured hair was in a really bad conditon. I was using a tigi shampoo for curly hair which had completely de-hidrated my hair! It was awaful, really dry, split ends... Finally I changed shampoo and decided to buy absolut repair and I'm really happy with the results. Since the begging it helped my hair a lot and now it is still a damaged hair, but not that dry, frizzed, and "dead" hair. Since I saw the results were quite good, I bougth the serum of the same range, and it seems it is controlling split ends a bit. Probably I will try the conditioner too.

This is a great shampoo. I can see how it changed my hair from dry and dull to healthy looking. It is rich so that your hair may tend to be more oily, but they will be smooth, shiny and more healthier. I also like the scent and a big package with a pump!

This is my HG shampoo! Kerastase BS3 is a close second, but this costs half as much and makes my hair shiny, soft and feels incredible. It barely lathers and feels more like a conditioner than a shampoo, but my hair is left clean, not stripped.
Pros: Provides shine, softness and control.
Smells great.
Concentrated.
Cleans without stripping, leaves my hair looking great.
Great for colored hair.
Cons: NONE!

I am an Asian and I dyed my hair brown with carmel highlights and I have to say this works for me since it keeps the colours vibrant. Sometimes people think I have different shades of blond. IT IS THAT GOOD in terms of colour vibrancy!! With regards to moisturizing, I find it is cleansing and enough to moisturize. I usually have a bit of Moroccan Oil before I blow dry and a drop or two after. It keeps my hair vibrate, healthy and shiny.

I ABSOLUTly LOVE THIS SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER!
Recently I bought the Pink Kerastase shampoo and condish, because my stylist always uses them on my hair and it looks awesome.. (of course she uses other styling products) , so in need of S&C i splurged. Ick! Worst ever, it made my hair feel like straw! So I exchanged it and got the L'oreal Professionnel Absolut Repair Shampoo and Conditioner instead. Honestly I probably would have NEVER even looked at this line because it is by L'oreal but Boy am I glad I did, this stuff is amazing!
Pros: Makes Hair Super Soft and shiny, feels moisturized and healthy but not heavy.
Cons: Price , made by L'oreal (not that I have anything against L'oreal, I just dislike L'oreal is also a drugstore brand.. which makes me think less of them as a salon brand)
Ok.. so my pro list isnt very big, and alot of products do the same, but there is something diffrent about this one that I just can't explain. Every time I am using it in the show I think "Wow this stuff is awesome" lol, wierd right?! I guess I have never had a s&c alone make my hair feel so heathy.
Just to give you an idea of the kinds of S&P i have or have recently had are: Alterna Caviar for Blondes, Alterna Hemp Repair (yellow bottle), Redken (the copper colored bottle for super dry hair), Redken Extreem Conditioner only, TiGi Bed Head Some like it Hot (which smells amazing) , Biolage Dry & Damaged.. thats all i can think of now, but this one tops them all.. Honestly. I just hope my husband doesnt start using it think that it is some cheap kind from target since it is Loreal, but then again I can't tell him I just spent that much on hair stuff 2 weeks before Christmas :) opps. I can't wait to go back and try more stuff from this line!
