This fragrance is an example of amber done right! It's a gorgeous powdery, lightly musky amber fragrance with some vanilla and spice mixed in. Very sensual, warm and yummy without really being gourmand. A very classy scent from a store (Bath and Body Works) that doesn't specialize in sophistication. I highly recommend.

They need to bring this one back! I l really like this fragrance because it's a warm, powdery scent but it's not long lasting which is the disapointing part. Really great for fall and winter weather use.

I personally love this scent. Some people I know think it smells like old lady perfume, but I find it very sophisticated and sexy. It's perfect for evenings out on the town.

I would recommend this but I guess it has been discontinued for quite some time now. I wouldn't know since I haven't step foot in a B&BW store for years. I still own the fragrance and have 3/4 of it left, so it really lasts.

BBW's Breathe ROMANCE "Sensuous Amber & Myrrh" combines two of my favorite base notes and the results are not bad at all. Seriously, it's not one of my favorites in the Breathe line, but I've got to say...it's sexy indeed, but not "in your face sexy". No, Breathe Romance is subtle, understated sexiness, and it's quite nice to wear. For those who like spicy but not "loud" spicy, this may be a scent to try. Sadly, though, like the other Breathe Fragrance Mists, they are cologne strength, so the lasting power is fleeting.

I have the Breathe Romance Fragrance roll-on instead of the mist. However, the scent is the same...which is gorgeous! I love this scent. I like to use it when I'm feeling sexy, to me it just fits. I don't think that the staying power lasts long though....wish it did.

Awesome original scent! It's being discontinued so i bought 5 bottles of the mist. I have never smelled anything like it and i get comments all the time. I only wear it during the fall...with the crisp dry air...it's just classic.

At first I fell in love with this fragrance. I got the whole set of the perfume and the matching lotion. After walking around my house, my dad told me I smelled repulsive. Only when I wore the lotion though, so now i threw out the bottle of lotion and just kept the fragrance. It is light and airy, not fruity smelling at all. My ex-boyfriend told me I smelled like a grandma, but that it was a good smell. It's not very young smelling in my opinion, but I don't mind. Not over powering at all. It airs out really quick, but for the price, you can afford to spray it ten times a day.

Almost everytime I wear this someone tells me that I smell nice. It's such a warm, soft fragrance. I wear it year 'round, but it's especially suited for cool, crisp Fall days. I pair it with the scented lotion & it leaves me soft & the scent , while not over powering, lasts me throughout the day.

this is my HG signature scent. i wear this year round & love to layer the fragrance with the body wash, lotion, body mist, & roll on perfume. YUM!

This is my favorite scent! I like that it smells pretty and feminine, but it's not too sickly sweet. It's a classic scent, but it's not old-ladyish.
I bought the spray yesterday, but I think I prefer the roll-on. It could be that I'm not used to it yet.

I really like this sent, i have the lotion. My boyfriend thinks it is too strong. but after it dries it is lighter. i love the warm scent so i wear anyway.

Softly oriental and slightly powdery. At first smell from the bottle I hated it. I guess because I'm Chinese it sort of reminds me of a buddist temple. But once it's on me it becomes less incense-y and sweeter? Will update.



EDIT* to 4 lippies will now definitely repurchase. Very unique and feminine. I like that it stays close to the skin and isn't obnoxious. Makes me want to try out the rest of the Breathe line.

So I've been wearing BBW Breathe Romance for a week, and frankly I want to stock up on it so I never, ever run out. I know it's silly to think a "cheapie" from BBW could be an HG, but it's really starting to feel that way! My best GF said I smelled "really good!" and a male co-worker said I "smelled delicious... no I mean it, absolutely delicious." Just in this short time I've received more compliments on it (even hours after I've applied it, which is better than Dream Angles Heavenly - that disappears almost immediately). Even my mom who is the toughest critic ever said I smelled wonderful. It smells like a quieter, simpler version of Chanel Allure to me (so now I'm completely on the hunt to swap for a bottle of Allure, if anyone wants to contact me!). At first blast it smells divine... then not-so-divine and more like play-doh... but if you hang on for just a few more minutes, the play-doh dissipates and your left with a subtle spicy warm scent that you can smell the entire day. I am in LOVE!!!! And it's so inexpensive! I think I need the body wash next...

When the Breathe line was first introduced I fell in love with the Energy and Delight scents and quickly dismissed the other fragrances. Nothing about this scent made me fall in love with it AT FIRST. I've always felf that Amber was a "old lady" scent and who wants that, right? But after being around my girlfriend all summer, I noticed the had this faint, sweet, cottony, powdery fragrance that smelled great. Nothing old lady about it - she just smelled good. So when I asked her what she was using I was shocked. She had about an inch left of the mist and swears this is the best scent of the line. I was converted and quickly added this to my collection. $16.50 and the bottle last forever! Now if I could only get my hands on the roll-on in the scent I'd be even happier!

I AM IN LOVE! All these good reviews below me are right on track. I had gotten the Vitamin Body Lotion for free with a coupon and was love this scent so much I had to go back and get something else from the line. I decided on the Fragrance Mist. It is very soft and feminane and I just love it. I'm slowly becoming a perfume addict and this is perfect because it's only $16.50! It's pretty light and not very strong but I like that because then it just leaves me wanting more. Breathe Romance is amazing!! I'm so excited I found something I really love.

This was my first Breathe purchase and I LOOOOOVE it. I will buy again if I ever run out but I doubt I will since I have full sets in Romance, Happiness and Comfort. Romance is the perfect title for this one too. Great for an evening out.

i LOVE this scent. i first fell in love with it last summer but decided to buy comfort instead. Every trip to the mall after that I wanted to purchase romance but the BBW by my house was always out of stock!

i finally bought it and i couldn't be happier. it's a lingering scent, but not too strong. whenever i wear it i cant help smelling my wrist every 5 minutes.

what i love most about it is that its an amber scent that isnt too strong, yet it lasts for a long too. the price is well worth it for a casual scent too.

Great soft Oriental scent. Very simple, not cloying. Great for day or evening. I detect mostly amber and myrrh softened with vanilla. lovely!
