This did not work for me cause my skin tends to hate anything with a radiant finish. It's to bad cause it looked so lovely on my friend! I'd recommend this for normal to dry skinned girls. Love the packaging and love how it looks on other people!

I have this in "Warm Beige 145", and it's SUCH a great color match for my tanned skintone. I have very warm undertones, even when I'm my naturally pale self, and most foundations just look too pink on me (especially CG foundations!), but Warm Beige is the perfect yellow based tan shade, that is lighter, and warmer, than the too dark for me "Soft Honey" shade. I would say I'm about an NC30-35 right now, for color reference. When I'm paler, I use either Buff Beige or Classic Ivory...all the other shades are just too pink to look natural. The foundation's texture is different than most, it's almost like a whipped/mousse. It's very lightweight feeling, yet has great coverage, and a little goes a very long way. This makes skin look so smooth and poreless, and I would describe the finish as satin-matte. I always set any foundation/TM/BB cream with powder, because I have a very oily t-zone, but this doesn't break up or disappear in my t-zone area, like so many other foundations do. The pump on this is awesome, it's a vacuum style, so not only do you know when you're about to run out, you also get every last bit of product out! I use a very small amount, because I like my foundation to look very natural. I also love the scent of this, it makes it more enjoyable to use. This is not oil controlling (or I would give it 5 lippies), but it also does not add to the problem, which I find to be the case with every foundation, so that's not a deal-breaker for me. The best part.... the Olay ingredients! This has niacinamide, palmitoyl pentapeptide-3, and Vitamin E, and provides both UVA and UVB protection (although an SPF15 would be better). So you're getting a great makeup product, and some good skincare, all in one!

I did not like this product. I am not a big fan of Cover Girl but after reading all the great reviews for this product, I had to try it. The colors were very pink and none came close to matching my fair, olive skin. This is pretty typical of CV to me. I have never found a shade that came close to matching my skin. The shades lean toward chalky and pink.
The closest was an Ivory shade and it was too pale and gave my skin an ashy looking cast. The formula was thick and went on nicely but set to a dull sheen. It also made my face look bumpy. Perhaps it filled in my pores like Bondo. I don't have any bumps on my face. I am also no a fan of the cloying scent that was a bit lemon with a hint of green tea scent.
The only redeeming features of this product were the pump top and the moderate to full coverage. I would not buy this product as I don't want to look like I am wearing an colored bumpy mask on my face. I also would not recommend this product.

Whoa! Way, way too greasy for me. This looked nice for about an hour & then my face turned into grease city. This might be great for dry skinned peeps but not for me.

My friends and family never know what to get me for christmas so they usually just get me makeup. Just before christmas this year i ran out of foundation so i went down to the shops in search of a cheapy to make do til i got more. I saw this, the price is very reasonable and i was with a friend who said she liked it so i bought it.

When i got it home however i was quite disappointed. It has great coverage you could not see a spot on my face when i had this on and i also managed to match the shade perfectly to my skin tone, however the foundation just sat on top of my skin in a layer and looked very cakey. Then, after only a couple of days of using the product it gave me a massive breakout with huge red pimples all over my face. Usually i get the odd pimple and a few blackheads over my nose. Before this product i had never had a pimple on my cheeks and suddenly my whole face was covered in them.

It is fairly oily so i bought the matching powder also. I wouldn't use this as an everyday foundation or even for short periods regularly, but when i've got nothing left in the house and am going out at night it would do just fine as long as i washed it off as soon as i got home.

I got this foundation on a whim because I found it in the bargain bin at Woolworths for $4.20. Some of my best makeup finds have come out of the same bin but in this case, let me say I can understand why it was in there.

I bought the lightest available colour and while the colour match is good for my skin, I do not rate this product at all! For one, the coverage is quite uneven and wears off after a few hours. However, my biggest complaint is the effect this foundation has had on my skin! I have quite sensitive skin but I've never had such a weird reaction from a foundation - on my chin, the skin has dried out so much it is literally flaking off me! I look like I have chin dandruff. The rest of my face is so greasy it is like an oil slick.

I cannot wait to scrub this nasty stuff off my skin the minute I get home!

Not to mention it smells really weird when you put it on. Quite unpleasant.

I've never really used Cover Girl foundations before and after this experience, I won't bother .

I have never come across a foundation with this great of a consistency! I have been using 110 "classic ivory" for about two years now and it's my everyday foundation. It is so easy to blend and feels like velvet on your skin. As for the packaging, the pump is very convenient and leaves not so much as a drop in the bottle by the time you are done with it, so you get absolutely everything out of it that you pay for. I believe the price is fair for this product and it will last you a good few months because you don't need to over use it for complete coverage!

I really liked this foundation, it goes on smoothly, blends well and has good coverage. I am pale and cannot use this in the winter, only summer months....even with the lightest shade available.

I tried this on the back of my hand in the store. I know most drug store foundations tend to be either very pink or orange on my pale olive skin. The palest shade they carry was a white-pink and the second was very pink. I was disappointed. This felt fantastic on my skin and if only drug stores brands would learn: NOT ALL WOMEN ARE PINK OR ORANGE.

I have tried other foundations, the simply ageless was just too shiny on my face, and I did not like the way it looked on. But, I like this one, it looks good on, nice coverage, oil free. I find myself going bk to this one time and time again.

For this review Im going to focus on talking about just the shades of the foundations. Im a light/medium beige with yellow undertone nc25 & ive tried 3 different shades. Ive wasted enough money on this garbage trying to find the right shade and Ive given up. I tried "buff beige" & "natural beige" then for summer I tried classic tan which I should have know better for that one. The classic tan has a more yellow undertone but was much too dark of course. Buff Beige was really ashy looking & Natural Beige was very orange. So off in color. Total disappointment. Anyway its typical problem of drugstore makeup to have a horrible time finding the right shade. Moving on to something else. I actually bought all 3 of them at Walmart which I wont do again because I found out that if I had bought them at CVS I could return the foundations as many times as I needed to until I found the right shade. Recently I asked a couple of employees at Walmart if I could do that and they had no idea. No help at all. Since thats the case Id rather buy at CVS.

I've been focusing on hydrating my skin overall and avoiding wrinkle formation. I bought this on a whim and immediately liked the smooth texture and finish this gave my skin. It blends well, is never cakey nor flaky and really applies well. The downside is no shade is quite light enough, but with blending it is perfect.

My everyday foundation, I had started purchasing Cover Girl foundations after using Aquasmooth but as my skin is a little drier nowadays, I've given this one a go and m now hooked. First purchased this when it was still in the form of a pot and now as a pump bottle, I need only a little to get good coverage and a give a smooth moisturized finish. Looks a tad oily at the end of a hot day but all I need is to lightly blot. My skin has had no negative reactions to it, and feels moisturized at all times. Definitely good value product!

One of the worst DS foundations ever! I have dry skin so I was hoping this foundation would work. When I first applied the foundation it seemed really moisturizing which was a + for me. However, after wearing for a couple of hours my face was an oil slick which is a rare occurance for me. I tried with and without studio secrets primer and hated it! The only reason I gave it 1 lippie is because of the pump packaging and color match. Maybelline Instant age rewind eraser treatment is not the best but it is much better than this junk if you are looking for a moisturizing foundation. Plus Maybelline has a little more spf.

This review is for the liquid in a pump. This product is a good color match for me. I love the pump--would love a squeezable tube more, but you can't have everything. It is made for a "mature" complexion, with the Olay stuff in it. Don't entertain any notion that it will cooperate with oily skin. It has a fruity/floral fragrance when applied, so be warned before you apply it.

It matches my skin tone, is easy to find in a pinch and has a 10 spf (broad spectrum I think), so it has a few things going for it. I'll update if I need to, but it's not a holy grail for me by any measure.

Edit: Will not purchase again--my face hasn't been this greasy looking and feeling since. . .well never! Not even during adolescence. Within a half hour of applying and setting with powder, I've got my own oil spill to contend with. I have rosacea which is controlled with metrogel, and most foundations at least provide some coverage of the residual redness, but not this, and I have found pimples that are definitely not rosacea related and can only be due to this foundation.

I really like this foundation, it's the best I've used yet. Not too yellow or pink, 135 medium light is perfect for me.
I have used their TruBlend whipped foundation and like it but this is better and the colors are the same.
It's thick and creamy so a little goes a long way; it's never cakey looking. It gives great coverage but yet looks natural. I just apply a little extra on blemishes. Is ok for my oily skin, no breakouts.
It has spf 10 and Olay ingredients, a nice bonus. I think it actually does take off 5 years from the look of skin as it claims. Will buy again when I run out but that will be awhile as I said before a little goes a long way.

It seems like people are commenting on both the liquid (shown in the pic) which comes in a pump bottle, and on the cream version (with the sponge applicator). I've used both, but this review is for the liquid/pump. I'm 45, have fair, dry skin (especially in the Northeast winters), and love this product for everyday. I can apply it quickly in trouble spots with my fingers, or use a makeup brush to get a nicer finish when I have more time. I use 120/creamy natural and 130/classic beige, depending on time of year and whether I've used a sunless tanning product lately. The price is great, it feels clean on my skin and no problems with breakouts.

I have used the other cream/sponge product and don't like it as much. I found the texture to be strangely drying, and the coverage not as good. I noticed many reviewers said they had used the CG Smoothers - I never liked that product either, so to each their own.

I've spent a lot of money on high-end foundations, and don't find they're worth it. I invest in skin care, not makeup. Bottom line, it's worth trying given the price. I have CVS near me, and they're great about letting you returned products you don't care for (with a receipt).
