I am unsure but it might be this product that made my skin terribly flaky. Nothing else in my daily skin routine or eating habits has happened.
It does work as a primer for me though, after fraxel my pores are twice smaller than before but still visible and with this primer they are not visible. It is smooth because of the silicon as well.
I am unsure about repurchasing but probably would, to use on special occasions. But flaky skin is a definite cons to me.

This product is not only ineffective, it is yucky!
It goes on chunky and does nothing to conceal pores. (The pores I am attempting to fill range in size with the largest ones being the size of a pin head). With the foundation I use (Origins) it becomes like tiny clumps of rolled up paper on my skin; does not blend at all.
This was a waste of money and a disappointment! I will go back to "Conceal a Pore" which is a wax-like product that you must apply to each individual pore so it is time consuming but effective.

I brought this for its supposed pore minimizing qualities,as I have very enlarged pores and am currently on a quest to find my ideal pore minimizer (have tried cliniques instant perfector, clarins instant smooth perfecting touch, dr brandts pores refiner, modelco pore minimizer, Napoleon Perdis Auto Pilot Pore Minimizer and Mattifier, becca line and pore corrector, mirenesse Pore Perfect Cover Air Mousse Primer). This did hardy anything in the way of minimising my pores, it felt like I had applied vaseline to my face, and looked like i had applied vaseline to my face (clung to small hairs had to blot with a tissue) and looks like vaseline to with a smidge of makeup mixed in it. I won't be repurchasing this. p.s. also does not look like picture, looks darker and like vaseline mixed with makeup as i've already stated.

Primers I have tried:
NP
Korres Silicone Free
Smashbox
Laura Gellar Spackle
Some Japanese brands

I have extremely oily skin that I blot & touch up every at least 2-3 hours. None of the above mentioned primers have given me the wear that Eraser has. I have only touched up once today and that is a MIRACLE. I only found out about this through MUA and thank god!

I also have noticed that my pores on my cheeks are getting larger with age and this has filled those in nicely for better foundation application. I wear NARS SG and although I love this foundation it does not last as long as I would like it to, but with this it wears super long and no color change at all.

I wish this came in a larger size! I got the 5ml size and it is very small. It was only $8 or so I don't consider it expensive, but I'm going to have to buy 3 at a time. The color of this is a dark peach color that dries sheer and is translucent. I didn't notice any scent or weird texture. It feels very siliconey and velvety. When it sets on the skin, it has a completely different feel, really nice and soft. I can't describe it, but it is a texture that I have never experienced with other primers or face products.

You should try this out. Shipping is very reasonable and it came fast. I use about lima bean size of this and smooth it all over without rubbing, like I'm trying to wipe something off my face. I find that this is the best application for this. So happy I found this, now I'm not always paranoid that I'm an oil slick!

I read the reviews on this product and REALLY wanted to love it as much as the others. I bought the 8 oz size and anxiously awaited for it's arrival, always being on the hunt for the perfect primer. When it came in the mail, it was the size of a Carmex lip balm and didn't look like the above picture at all, more like pink petroleum jelly. All you need is a tiny bit. I have tried smoothing it on skin, stippling on skin, pressing into skin, and I'm not sure what it's supposed to "erase". I'd also prefer it to be in a bottle with a pump. I'm still playing with it so if my opinion changes then I'll update.

I received this in swap and have been using it everyday only for my undereye area before I apply concealer. It helps glide the concealer better and helps last longer. I didn't think of it much until today, I forgot to put the Eraser on and within couple of hours concealer is little gone and my undereye is visible. I immediately went on their site and order a full size jar.

The reason I gave 4 lippi is that i don't think it does anything for my face.

I am always on the hunt for an alternative to the Clinique Pore Minimizer Instant Perfector which I've been using for years. I find that clinique doesn't cover the bigger pores as well and it usually works better when the product is freshly opened. I think this product is a close replica of Clinique, it works as good and i think it is slightly better than Clinique in terms of covering the bigger pores. But I still have a problem with applying this product (or the Clinique one for that matter) after foundation as the foundation tends to get rubbed off. But if I dont apply it after foundation I cant get the 99% poreless look I want.

I LOOOOOVVVEEE this stuff!!! This is the miracle (in a jar) that I've been looking for!!! I have medium sized pore, fine lines, and oily skin and this stuff takes care of all of that!!! I just wish it was sold in larger quanities (a barrel would be nice lol jk). From what I have read, a jar lasts a very long time for some people. Not for me. I apply it over my entire face so I use more than others do I guess. However, I will not hesitate to pay $20 every 1 or 2 months for this "miracle". I purchased the Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting touch today because it has a lot of the same ingredients that the Eraser has. I may or may not like it better. We shall see.

does an excellent job at hiding pores and smoothing out the skin on my face, but broke me out the second day of use. now i use it on my undereye area and it does a very nice job there, the concealer doesn't sink into the fine lines around my eyes

When I first got this product I was at a loss for how to use it. After some experimentation I found the perfect formula for flawless skin even in Southern humidity and pollution. First I apply it all over my face, then using a stippling brush I stipple on my Revlon Colorstay and voila! Flawless skin! It hides my large pores around my nose and chin areas very well and helps with the application of my makeup. I found that it did not work very well under my MMU though, it made no visible difference to me. I would definitely buy again for my liquid foundation.

I had erasers in yellow, green and the transparent one.
The transparent one is the best, although I can't really say that it does something, except priming.
The green one is terrible, it just makes the red spots on my face look muddy.

i live in singapore. n its humid n hot here. having oily n combo skin, i tried on this sample n i lstarted loving it. I've been using Chanel Sheer illuminator Blanc Universel makeup base before.. but now im hooked with this Eraser... it holds my makeup n its really smooth to apply. it doesnt really control oil as well as Chanel Sheer Illuminator but i tink its good enough for me now. gave it 4 lippies because its pretty expensive for this size 10ml only..

I do not know what all the talk is about this. I bought it when I bought some sample eyeshadows, so the price was good. I used up the whole thing (not all at once) and I can honestly say that I didn't see a difference after applying this and then my foundation. Only difference was it felt like my skin couldn't breath....was just weird. I won't buy it again. Waste of money for something that doesn't do what it says its going to.

I don't know what to make of this. I have the kind of large pores in my tzone that literally makes my skin look like an orange peel. As long as I dab a few layers of this stuff on my pores, it really does make them look about 90% better. BUT: 1) the colour makes my asian skin colour look dead and the texture of my skin look pasty 2) If I put cream foundation over this, it makes my foundation sooo cakey, dry and noticeable -- and I don't know what's worse..large pores or cakey looking skin. it also changes the colour of my foundation to look more orangey. 3) If I put this on AFTER my foundation, it doesn't stay put! maybe an hour at the most.
4) if I don't dab at least few layers on, doesn't really make that big of a difference to my pores.
Oh well..guess I will have to live with crater size pores after all.

OK EDIT: I found the best way to use this.....put the cream eraser on, then Use a foundation BRUSH to apply foundation, ...when I use the brush, my skin looks 80% better!! (not poreLESS, but definitely much better, and pores I can live with).

OK LAST EDIT I PROMISE: while I did find that out how to make it work with foundation, it does NOT LAST EVEN WITH FOUNDATION...i'm so sad to say this...b/c i just got the clinique pore minimizer and while that does last much longer, hours longer in fact, it doesn't cover the VERY big pores as well as the eraser....but what's the point in converage unless it lasts for at least a few hours

I use the apricot. LOVE IT> It is worth 10 times more that what the price is. I have dry skin, and this just makes the perfect canvas for MM.

This review goes to Color Correcting Eraser Apricot:

I love this product. I use it before using my MMU Foundation. I tried it with Pure Luxe Foundation's Warm Honey.

It's a silky feeling creme. Really smooth on my fingers, and also in my face. I have no trouble in using it. Just use it all over my face and then use MMU Foundation. And then use the ordinary make up.

I also have sensitive skin. But so far, no problem arise.

Used on the dreaded nose pores, this fills 'em in like spackle (sorry, Laura Geller, this stuff is better). A soft peachy soft balm-like product that makes foundation, or just powder, look air-brushed and leaves your skin porcelain-like. (It is darker IRL than in this Productville pic.) I pat in on my skin in a veryvery thin layer rather than rubbing.

Ingred: cyclopentasiloxane, C30-45 alkyl cetearl, dimethicone, crosspolymer, titanium dioxide, sericite, iron oxide, kaolin, vitamin E, zinc oxide.

So yeah, nothing magic, just silicone to smooth the area and a few added goodies, but the consistency is nice and it works and is relatively inexpensive. Pure_Luxe is a great discovery!

I was skeptical at first coz most pores minimising products doesnt work on mine..but decided to give it a try since its comes in sample size & its cheap too. Surprisingly, this works alright for me.. It of coz does not completely erase all pores but it does minimise their appearance.. I used it mostly on my nose area where my pores are most visible. I patted it on instead of rubbing it in & the pores on my nose seems smoother n less visible. I prefer to use this eraser with powder application rather than with liquid foundation..

I have oily skin with very large pores, and this is the only product I have found that gives me a smooth finish to my foundation. It feels thicker than other primers I have tried and it fills up the pore potholes, and my foundation glides right over it. I have tried Smashbox, Ulta, Revlon, Sally Hansen/Carmindy, Avon etc, etc, and this is the only one that works this well, stays all day and does not break out my acne prone skin. Highly recommended!

Sorry to say that this did not work for me. I have never had a problem with acne (not even as a teen), but I got some huge cystic pimples from this that scarred. The texture was very silky and it did hide my pores. But, I thought it was a bit pricey for the amount that you get. I have also used the Photo Finish from Smashbox and have had the cystic acne with that as well. I have had the best luck with Bare Escentuals bareVitamins 'Prime Time' Foundation Primer. I like the pump packaging, as it keeps it more sanitary. It makes a good foundation for mineral makeup and liquid foundations. I have been using that for over 9 months and have not had an acne problem with it. I think that the Pure Luxe is overrated and will not repurchase.
