Overall rating: This product is described on the Pure Luxe (PL) Web site as "pink/taupe shimmer." Even though PL's eyeshadow quality has increased several-fold in my opinion, this description is a little misleading because the *base" is a pink/taupe, but the shimmer is all gold, whether you apply dry or wet. It's gorgeous, but if you have a hard time wearing golds or warm shades, this may not be the shadow for you. For me, it may well develop into an HG neutral shade. It is very pigmented, albeit a fairly light shade; looks great wet or dry; and very inexpensive for a large-sized sample (I'd guess about 3 g in a 5-g sample pot with screw -top lid). MAC has *nothing* like this shade! PS: This is NOT listed as a shadow/liner on the PL site; it's just a regular shadow.

Beautiful color! In the jar, it looks like a lavender/pink/brown color. On the lids, it's more of a peachy/pink/gold color that looks beautiful against my skin tone. Very subtle and light, great for wearing to work.

GORGEOUS! I wouldn't classify this as a pink at all, it's more of a neutral peachy/gold/bronze kind of shade. It's soooo pretty, has a metallic feel to it, quite pigmented and is as soft as buttah :)

Very pretty colour, but it doesnt really look pink. Rather brownish. Nevertheless, it is still a gorgeous colour. Havent tried it foiled.

I think this is a pretty color, but it is way too shimmery for me to use as a day shadow and the consistency is too powdery and fly-away. I just don't like the feel of this shadow at all. It's not smooth like a MAC pigment or some of the other PL shadows.

This is my favorite shadow so far that I've sampled from Pure Luxe.. and I love most of them.. I have dark brown eyes, and they light up with this color. It's a peachy taupe color, that absolutely just makes your eyes shimmer. I love the color on brown eyes, but I can't imagine how beautiful it would make blue eyes pop!
Definitely a keeper, and something to buy in full size.

This shade is bronze with a strong peachy pink tone to it. Nothing special in my opinion. It is pretty, but when used dry it is *very* sheer. Use this one wet and you get a intence color though.

Love this shade..I foiled this on and it is a lovely cool peachy shade and brightens my eyes beautifully. I always get compliments on my eyes when I wear this shade. Recommend for blue eyes. t is now one of my most used base shades.

This is one of the few lighter-colored Pure Luxe pigments that actually shows up on me as a color when brushed on dry. Dry, it's a beautifully shimmery pale champagne with a slight pinkish taupe sheen. Wet, the duochrome effect is more pronounced and gives this an almost metallic, liquid platinum look. Really lovely and would look great on anyone. Must add that this is much lighter and less peachy than BE "Desire". Pure Luxe ships very quickly, has good customer service and it's really fun to get a lot of different shades at once (only about 1 USD for generous samples).

i did NOT think i was going to like this color on me. it looks kind of peachy/taupe imo. i ordered it as a sample, thought, ummmm maybe NOT...but then got bored one day and dusted it on my lids. woooweeee! perks up my whole complexion, has a lovely sparkle, neutral enough to wear every day, but with enough ooomph to make me feel all warm and girly inside. definite repurchase!

Pureluxecosmetics.com says Elysium "...is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! Pink/taupe shimmer."

Very similar to BE Desire. And a lot cheaper. Definite repurchase if I ever run out. $4.80 for 5g jar.
