I have combination skin with a history of acne. I only get hormonal breakouts around my chin these days and my skin is a little bit on the dry side but gets oily in the day. I expected this moisturizer to hydrate my skin and give it a little sheen but instead it feels uncomfortable on my face, it doesn't seem to really sink into my skin properly but instead leaves a weird rubbery feeling to my skin. I also found that this breaks me out and isn't nearly enough moisturizing for my skin! This also makes my makeup go cakey and ends up "peeling off" my skin. I definitely don't recommend this product.

Ok, d/s moisturiser, nothing special. I like my make up to look slightly glowy and not flat and matte, and thought this would be perfect to use under my laura mercier silk creme foundation. First of all, it looked too pinky frosty on me. Then after applying the LM foundation which is already a little glowy i looked like an oil slick. It was also very hard to apply my foundation it ended up looking cakey and thick, whereas with my usual dior hydraction moisturiser it looks usually very natural. When i used this under mac face and body on a photoshoot, same thing i was suuuuper shiny and oily! would def not re purchase.

This is my HG moisturizer. I've got pretty difficult skin, it's very sensitive to dryness, I have dark under-eye circles and a very uneven complexion . I've tried a whole range of drugstore moisturizers (can't really afford the high-end ones), with and without primers, foundations, concealers, illuminators, the list just goes on and on.
The reason why I like this moisturizer so much is that it does wonders for the condition of my skin, but also makes it look so much better than anything I've ever tried before. The glow is so natural, it seems to even out my skintone, plus, it's got an SPF, it moisturizes very well without breaking me out, and it's a good base for foundation (altough, like other MUA-ers wrote, it needs some time to sink into your skin). I also really like the packaging, wich I think is hygienic and pretty. You can sort of lock the pump, which is a big one since I take this everywhere in my purse without having to worry it's going to leak. Finally, it's cheap, what more could you want? There was a sale on today, so I've gone and bought two. I don't really see how this could be improved.

I used this today along with my mineral makeup and have to say its something I have been looking for a longtime. Its makes a perfect base for makeup, got SPF, moisturising and gives me a nice glow. I have a medium complexion and the light bounces giving me a flattering finish. Its not pinky/or golden a mixture of the two and very subtle, doesnt make you look like a glow stick! LOL! Definitely something i will be using this summer!

I don't hate this product but nor am I particularly impressed by it. I found it sank in nicely and made a nice base for makeup..but the shimmer was just not right for me.
Some reviewers have mentioned the shade is golden but I actually found it more of a pinky toned glow which I found unflattering on my pinky toned skin. It kind of looked like I had rubbed frosted pink lipstick on my face.
I do feel this could be a really good product if the shimmer was right because the actual moisturising properties are great for me.

I have been using this for about 3 weeks and i can say only good things about it. I have combo acne prone skin that reacts really fast to anything that doesnt like. i have no problems with that moisturizer. feel very soft makes my skin really illuminating and it s not oily at all. it has a 15spf which is great for winter and it s an ecxellent primer before make up. the price is very low. So in conclusion i will buy this product for sure as it is my HG moisturizer for winter time.

I was giving this by my sister-in-law as she didn't like it, and I have to say that I too was not impressed. Before I used another olay product and liked it, so thought this would be OK.
Firtsly there is nothing illuminating about this. The lotion just has a slight shine to it (not good for greasy skin). The cream does leave my skin soft but it is too heavy on the skin, you can feel your wearing it. Without makeup this product is OK, but with make up if i touched my face found it 'rubbed off''. It also made me look even more greasy by the end of the day. There are plenty more better products out there.

Mixed feelings on this product. This moisturiser is not glittery, it has a pearly-peachy shimmer to it, which really compliments the skin and gives a nice glow. When I wear just this and no-makeup, it's great. However, I've found when I apply foundation over it, it'll come off in bits which is really disgusting. I've had this problem a few times, which has put me off. I started using this product again when I ran out of my current moisturiser, but this time I gave it a good 10minutes to sink into the skin, this time the foundation melted into my skin and looked great.
Pros:
Gives skin a nice glow.
Moisturising.
SPF15
Not too expensive.
Nice packaging.
Cons:
Needs time to absorb into skin.
Sticky - probably because of the spf.

I find I'm using this most of the time, in preference to other more expensive moisturisers - except in the very cold weather when I need a richer moisturiser. It gives my skin a good glow and is a good base for foundation. Recently I've been mixing it with a bit of Dr Hauschka tinted moisturiser (which I find too deep on its own) and the result is flattering.

I bought this several years ago and used it all up. I reallly like it considering that I don't like to wear a lot of make up. I have fairly dry skin and this keeps me moisturized all day long with SPF protection. It's not too heavy at all, takes time to sink into my skin and also works well as a make up base. What makes it really good for me is actually the illuminating particles that some people here are complaining about. I find that its really good for no mu days and definitely brings a glow to the face. I put a little more on the cheek/brow bones to highlight the areas and suprisingly I get a lot of compliments and questions about my skin routine!
I completely finished the bottle and found out that it was no longer selling in Canada. I spent about two years trying several other "radiance" type moisturizer and found nothing that can compare to it at all. Aveeno Positively Radiant came somewhat close but it didn't smell as nice and the moisturizing/illuminating effects just wasn't the same to Olay's. I ended up having someone from the UK ship this over - this is how desperate I got! So sad and I hope they don't discontinue it at all. I really love it!

I hate shimmer, but I really like this. I slap it on in the morning before I walk the dog instead of my more expensive every day SPF 30 (EmerginC). I also use a drop as a highlighter over my tinted SS on cheeks, brow and nose. I don't get shimmer, but theres definitely a sheen/glow. Took my magnifying mirror into full sun and no shimmer that I can detect. Doesn't make my oily skin look or feel any oilier and doesn't leave the white cast so many ss's do. Love the packaging too. Really perfect for no mu days.

This product made me breakout! This Olay moisturiser has received rave reviews and I thought this might be the product that would save me the guilt I usually feel when buying my high end moisturisers.
I got two huge zits on my forehead AND I didn't find it moisturising enough despite it being slightly greasy (I suspect due to the SPF 15). It didn't make my skin glow either despite having mica in it although maybe my skin tone is not fair enough (I have yellow skin tone) for the radiance to shine through.
This is cheap at £7.49 for 75ml at Boots compared to other moisturisers I have tried for e.g. Dermalogica skin smoothing cream at £22 for 100ml or Lancome Hydra Zen at £35 for 35ml or Shiseido Skin Lucent at £26 for 40ml but after seeing the unsightly, ugly and HUGE pimples I got on my forehead I am never ever going to use cheap moisturisers again.
Just a final note to say that I hardly get breakouts from my skincare products so I think if you have sensitive skin, please give this a miss!

I bought this product in the Summer, thinking it would be nice to have some radiance, and I loved it, I didnt find it made me shimmery like other posters have said, but then it may be slightly different here in Ireland than the one sold in the USA, it gives radiance, but in no way looks shimmery, I was complimented on my skin several times when wearing it under foundation, it makes you look like you have just a hint of a light summer tan, without looking Tangoed! I have Combo skin, with a slight shine on my nose by mid-morning, and i didnt get a shine with this, I'm not sure if its moisturising enough for older skins like mine, but my daughter started using it, she's in her late teens, and she loves it. I alternate it with my Estee Lauder moisturiser every couple of weeks during the winter, but use only Olay during the summer when my skin is a bit more oily. I think its a good price, and the pump is very handy and hygenic, i just unscrew the top when the bottle is coming near the end, and you can get the rest out with a cotton bud. I like this product very much.

A fairly average lotion. But with SPF 15, which I like. Doesn't break me out. The light refelecting quality picks up my skin nicely and helps it look even but not shiney. This really came into its own when mixed with Philosopy Hope and a Prayer. My skin has never lookked so good.

I got this in combo/oily and its very sheer and lightweight but not quite moisturizing enough for my normal/combo skin. Even in the summer parts of my skin will flake after it dries from shower/cleansing. The spf probably isn't enough in this day and age and I'd recommend putting sunscreen over it as well. I probably should've bought this for normal skin and will do so next time. I can see this being good for people with extremely oily skin though. It hasn't clogged my pores even though I've layered it on a bit.
Edit: I'm loving this now. It took me a while to discover that almost every other product I used made my face break out a little except this one. As soon as I cut out everything else, my skin started repairing itself. Yes, its not as moisturizing as it could be, but w/ a jojoba oil undercoat it keeps my skin from drying out. I think I'm gonna try normal skin for winter. Why go for the expensive heavy stuff when Olay works better? It doesn't make me any oilier than I'd be otherwise too. If its not my HG, its pretty close.

This isn't a bad product... I've finally realized that it's a bad product for ME! I have normal skin w/a touch of dryness, but thought "Hey, I could use a little extra radiance," right?
Well, wrong. The greasies just never seemed to go away. I even switched to a foundation for oily skin & used blotting papers like crazy, when finally today (when I'm almost finished w/the Olay) I realized, it's this moisturizer. It also broke out my chin... just my chin... bizarre! But oh well, now I'll just stick to Olay's regular face cream in a jar. It works the best for me and I can go back to my regular foundation now. So, just beware, you could get the greasies w/ this product, unless you're super dry, or live in a less humid climate.

I really really like this product. For my combinated skin type, this is just the right texture: not too greasy. I like the illuminating effect: it gives me a very healthy appearance, even when I dont fel that way :) I think it look svery natural, but I must say, I only use it on the dryer parts of my face, which actually are my cheeks only. This is also the part of my face which gets red and irritated by to much sun exposure, so the SPF 15 is very welcome here! Maybe that's a thing what's causing so many different reactions: maybe I wouldnt like this product either if I'd put it on my entire face, including the oilier parts (chin, forehead). I dont think I'd want those parts to shine more than they naturally already do. Anyway, for me this lotion is the best!

I use this over my regular moisturizer (Wet 'N' Wild Clear Skin Moisturizer with SPF 15). I do this because this stuff doesn't really moisturize that much. It glides on more smoothly on top of my regular moisturizer.
I agree with the reviewer who said that this highlights all of the right places. It has a subtle golden shimmer that brightens up my pale face. I love the pump bottle and price of this. I don't think it smells bad...it actually smells kind of good and non-perfumey. This also had not broken me out. YAY!!!
I will repurchase this and definitely recommend it.
