I purchased after Benefit's She Laq was discontinued, and this worked just as well and was slightly cheaper. I wear MAC pencil liners which tend to smear, and putting this on top of eyeliner seals it for the entire day. The bottle looks small but really lasts forever, I think I need a replacement on these sealers about once a year. I'm finally in the market to buy a backup...and I learn it too has been discontinued! PLEASE bring this product back!

I just now got Weather Everything, but so far, I'm quite impressed.I'd been using Kryolan sealer with my cake eyeliner, and it worked fine for that, but not so well with loose powder eyeliner. After reading raves about Weather Everything, I decided to give it a try, in spite of the fact that it's considerably more expensive than any of the other eyeliner sealers I've bought.
Well, in this case, you really do get what you pay for. A small amount of powder liner + a drop or two of Weather Everything = super intense color that glides right on, and stays put, even on my exceptionally oily lids, without primer. I actually took a shower and my eyeliner stayed on!
My only complaint about Weather Everything is that it's about $20 for a tiny bottle, but since so little is needed for each application, I probably won't need to buy it often. Also, it gives even matte liners a slight sheen that I could live without, but it's not a huge issue.
It's a little early to tell, but I think Weather Everything + mineral powder eyeliner = my HG eyeliner. I'l update if my impression changes.
I'll buy this again, for sure.

My favorite all time eyeliner is MAC's Smolder but this as a kohl and my super slick lids is the worst combination. This line sealer is the best thing that's happenned to my eyeliners! I just dot some Smolder along my lashline and I run the sealer with an angled brush and it creates the blackest, smoothest line (looks like liquid liner) I've ever had. This will NOT budge even if the rest of my shadows fall apart. I have hooded lids so I have to try not to get it on anywhere else but the line so my lids don't stuck for a bit.

Thank God I found this product. I have eyelids as oily as a slick. The last straw came the other night when I returned from a dinner party with relatives I don't see very often. I looked in the mirror and my eyeliner was literally halfway down my face...not a good look. So I did some research and put in an order. As a sealer this stuff is the bomb. I also rub my eyes constantly so it's been a lifesaver in that department too. To remove it, I use baby oil, and it comes off like a dream. I don't wear make-up every day so when I do it ought to look good, not try and scamper off my face halfway through the night. For me this product is worth every cent I paid for it.

Made my eyes run - and where they ran so did the eyeliner so I ended up with a smear at the outer corners which then washed away so i looked like I had 'half a line' drawn on! Sad as I wanted to like this, but I took it back.

The liner on my upper lid always smudges onto my lower lid, even if it's waterproof/"smudgeproof". This product worked pretty well for a while sealing in eyeliner for most of the day--both BE liner and regular liner, though it changed the color of the latter a bit. Sad to say that after a couple of weeks of near-daily use, I got a small sty/whitehead on my eyelid (I guess this seals pores too) and had to stop using it.

I do love this product. It mixes well with BE liners and applies like a dream with a thin liner brush. The colors look fantastic, but I find that they do start to chip after a long day. Also, I had to deduct several lippies for packaging because I've had not one, but TWO of these little droppers break on me. Both times, the dropper part got stuck in the lid when I unscrewed it, which I didn't notice. Then I go to drop this into my liner and most of the liquid came out. :( The good thing is, when I brought the bottle back to the store they exchanged it for a new one no questions asked. Just be careful!

I am a diehard fan of Bobbi Brown's gel eyeliner but I found myself wanting a couple colors that they do not offer. I tried BE shadowliner on its own, but it faded throughout the day. I was ready to return the shadowliner but decided to try it again with Weather Everything. When I get the consistency right I like the product. But sometime too many drops come out or I have to fuss with the shadow to get the right amount into the mixing compartment -- a definite headache.
When it works, WE gives all day staying power without flaking, fading, or bleeding, and lasts until you re ready to take it off. I took one lippie off for the mess and another for the fact that you cannot guarantee that you will get an eyeliner with the same consistency each time. This is not one of my favorites, more like a necessary evil to get the color I am wanting.
ETA:I deducted another lippie because I just cannot get this product to consistently work. Sometimes it fades and it completely not worth the hassle. It doesn't happen to often for me, but I have buyer's remorse on purchasing this one.

I was seduced into trying Bare Escentuals eyeshadow and eyeliner because of their incredible range of shades. However, when I tried to use the powders as dry liner, they wouldn't stay. Even using water or Visine was hopeless; the liner smudged as soon as I touched it (or the minute my allergy-prone eyes started to water). When I found Weather Everything, though, all that changed.
While pricey (a tiny bottle costs $18 USD) Weather Everything is a great investment. Just a drop added to loose powder or pigment will turn any shadow into a waterproof liner that really lasts. Included with the bottle is a palette with three compartments for mixing shades, which is convenient.
I really love WE and use it all the time (even with other brands of loose eyeshadow/pigment). I have noticed that it does tend to darken the color of the shadow slightly, but for me, it's worth it to have waterproof liner. However, once dried, the liner feels just like liquid liner on your lids, which might be a downside to some. Note: be sure to rinse your brush right after applying your liner, or the color will harden and make the brush harder to clean later.

I love this stuff! ALL my shadows - and theres quite alot of them - are now also water-proof, intense eyeliners! It doubles my number of producs in one sweep. Couldnt ask for more! I can see though how it might crack if one piles it on too heavily, but that goes for most gel/liquid liners (except UD ones - I love Lucky) and I can work my way around it. I now have weeks and weeks of new liners every day. Would DEF buy again!

Definitely a great product, but not as great as other reviewers make it out to be.
When I first used it, I used it over my liquid liner on my top lid to seal it, but at the end of the day the liner was still smudged away at the corners of my eyes, the same problem I get without the product since I never really have a problem with overall smudging. I figured the stuff didn't work, so I decided to test it on my hands in different ways.
I noticed that when used as either mixed with a powder or used over the liner or shadow, the makeup becomes smudgeproof despite rigorous rubbing. It also becomes totally waterproof since it didn't budge when I ran water over my hand in the sink. However, when both wet AND rubbed (even slightly), the liner came off really easily. This is probably how I ended up with the smudging in the corners of my eyes, I teared up (which I do frequently throughout the day because of my contacts) and blinked.
So, overall, still a great product that I'll definitely continue to use to help my makeup generally last longer throughout the day, but I will still need to figure out a way to specifically prevent the smudging at the corners of my eyes.

Love it!!! I have tried other products to help make my eyeliner stay put (ie Paula Dorf Eye Transformer, Urban Decay 24/7 eyepencil). This is the best I've tried so far. Usually by the end of the day, I have eyeliner in the crease of my eyes but with this product it did not budge. I'm hooked. The price is okay considering you only need a little, so it will last a long time. I will definitely be purchasing this again in the future. I'm hooked!!! Woohoo!!!

I use this two ways, both work fantastically. One way, I use a brush to put this over my liner. It seals it and my liner looks as good as it did when I put it on at the beginning of the day. Another is to use it with BE glimmers. I mix in a small, tiny drop of this with a little bit of the glimmers and *voila* instant metallic liner. This doesn't irritate my eyes lik BeneFit She-Laq and it doesn't change the color of any liner or shadow I use it with. It dries fairly quickly. I wish the drops that come out of the dispenser were smaller, 'cause a lot goes a long way and the drops are more than enough for one application.

I was really disappointed with this because I read the reviews on MUA and it seemed to be just what I need - something that makes my eyeliner stay put. It's just a bottle of liquid that you use a drop or two at a time to mix with Bare Escentuals mineral eye liner (which is a pot of loose powder) to make it stay put - as opposed to mixing it with water.
Used as instructed above I found it a little disappointing because all it really does is make it like a regular liquid eyeliner. And the trouble I have with those is that they tend to crack rather than smudge - and you still end up looking a mess. I don't do a very heavy wide eyeliner - just a thin line - but the cracking still messes it up. I have tried using more drops and fewers drops to add to the powder and it doesn't seem to make any difference. And, as other reviewers have pointed out, you do need to be reasonably quick or it sets and you're too late to change it. It does also make my brush hard even though I rinse it out straight away after use,
I had also anticipated that I would be able to use this with cake eyeliner (and, indeed, cake eyeshadow) - using the drops instead of water. But it just doesn't work. I don't know why but when you try to mix it up it just doesn't give the right consistency - just a sticky mess.
The only good thing is that I do now use my Bare Escentuals mineral eye liner - when I originally bought it I found I couldn't apply it dry without getting it all over the place and I had bought it to try to get a smokey eye look. Maybe I'll try it now with just water and get a better result!

I bought this to make my BM liner shadows waterproof for summer and WOW it works!! I had always applied my liner shadows wet, and they stay well enough that way, but when I use this....they don't budge, not at the pool, or at the beach or crying my eyes out at a movie. You don't use much so the little bottle lasts forever, just a drop will allow you to line both eyes. I haven't used it as an all over fixative, but I have a feeling that if you were going out dancing and wanted your eyeshadow to be sweat proof thru all your hip shakin' that this would work perfectly for that as well. One side note, if you want to smudge your liner--which I like doing so I don't have a harsh line, then you have to act FAST before this dries. I remove this and my waterproof mascara with safflower oil and that works well for me (and conditions my eyelashes, which is an added bonus!) This is a great product that preforms well. Even though its pricey, its worth it, because you don't need much. I would definately repurchase.

I have very oily lids so I didn't expect much from this but let me tell you when I use this my eyeliner does NOT BUDGE!!! I do use UDPP under it. I normally don't line my lower lids because it just ends up melting off in about an hour, but I thought what the heck I will try using this with it and my liner stayed on all night it didn't go anywhere! Just make sure to rinse your eyeliner brush after using this because it will make it hard as rock if you don't!! I have a feeling I will be going thru a few bottles of this! For you girls that have oily lids try this..you won't be sorry!

I've been wanting this product of over a year now and never really thought I needed it. I was ok just using water to make my mineral eye liner go on, but it would smudge easily when I would rub my eyes. (I tend to do that a lot too) So last week I decide to buy it from work since it was 40% off and thought, if it didn't work out, I could always return it. OMG, this is the best product out there. I can rub and rub my eyes like there's no tomorrow and my eyeliner will still look brand new. Today I've had it on for almost 12 hours and it still looks just as fresh and wet looking as it did this morning.
All you need is one tiny drop and a little bit of any eye color you want to line your eyes with. You need to have a steady hand though, because if you mess up and don't clean it up right away; you'll have a super hard time getting it off. Make sure you rinse our your eyeliner brush really well too, or you'll get a super hard brush (the directions tell you to do so also) The price isn't bad for this either since you don't need much product. I will buy this again whenever I run out of it!

LOVE LOVE LOVE! I've switched over to lining my eyes with BE liner shadows this past year (coming from eye liner pencils, usually i chose the 'long wearing' type). I wear contacts everyday, and b/c of my allergies & allergy meds, i always seem to have dry eyes, thus requiring eye drops and tending to rub my eyes/adjust my contacts, etc. This product has been a lifesaver!!! I first tried using Visine to wet my liner brush...and that worked OK. Although that had decent staying power, i was lured by all the hype on the Weather Everything. And i am so glad i have it now! Seriously, this stuff DOES NOT BUDGE. I didnt receive the mixing wells in my swap, so i just use the lid of whatever shadow i am using. You'll fgure out what technique works best for you, but mine is putting ONE small drop in the lid, picking up a bit of shadow with my dry liner brush, and then mixing the 2 proucts together in the lid til you get the desired consistency you want. It dries pretty quick so if you make a mistake, have a Qtip at hand and you can quickly wipe before it dries. But once its on, its heaven. Seriously does not budge. I have always used Neutrogena's eye makeup remover (in the clear blue bottle) that removes waterproof masacara, and that removes my liner with no problem. Definitely recommend this product 100%

It works really well with bare mineral's liner/shadow. It makes the shadow really waterproof. And the liner could last more than 10 hours, and looks like new.

I have looked absolutely everywhere for an eyeliner that stays put... or a base that ensures my eyeliner isn't going anywhere. While getting a makeover at the BE store, the salesgirl tried this mixed with a dark green eyeshadow... made a small stripe on my hand. This was at 10am. By 9pm that night, it was still there! And yes, I washed my hands regularly. So I had to go back and buy it. I'm so glad I did. I love it and it really keeps my eyeliner in place. I love that I can mix it with any of my loose shadows.
I did try to be "experimental" and tried this mixed with a dark shadow over my entire lower lid. It got all hard and looked odd. But my fault lol.
When I run out, I will definately have a new bottle waiting!
