Good but not great I use this for my lids or to highlight under my brows. Any other brush can do that just as well and it would probably be cheaper. It is soft and when I wash it, it does not shead so it is durable I suppose. Ive had mine for about 3 years.

I use this brush for blending and highlighting under the brow bone. It's not a must have, but I do use it when my 217 is dirty. It's soft and does not shed.

This is just ok- not good, not great. I'm not particularly impressed by this brush. Overall it does a so-so job but I have found it tends to flick eyeshadow dust where I don't want it. 'Tis going on my swap list.

Holy baloney, this brush is the t**ts for a discrete yet fab outer V crease color! I've tried the Sephora angled shadow brush and the Elf one, but one was a wee bit too large, the other a wee bit too small. This is perfect. And, cheapskate that I am, I even got the SE version to save a few bucks. And even this economy version is a great, soft, outer contour brush. Just load it up with a dark shadow and wiggle it, larger, angle side perpendicular up, into your outer eye corner. Instant depth and contour. Especially good for hooded eyes, and I should know, I've got 'em!

This brush is amazing but it gets over looked so much! Honestly, it does everything I want it to. I've discovered its amazing for concealer (even though it does take a teeny bit longer to buff in the concealer, but you get a perfect flawless finish), as well as being great for applying a wash of colour on the lid, blending out harsh lines, applying highlight to the brow bone and colour to the inner tear duct, crease work, depositing colour on the outer-v, and applying powder to the under-eye area. Heck I even use it to apply eye cream when I don't want to use fingers, as its hairs are soft enough and angled so fits right into the corners. Extremely underrated and a fabulous multi-tasker. Definitely in my top 5 brushes, and would immediately repurchase if I ever lost it

I am very sad that this brush is discontinued. I "rediscovered" makeup about 16 months ago, and this brush was recommended by Leesha on YouTube. I must say, boy was she right! No other brush in my collection (and in the last 16 months, I've gotten quite a few) provides the dimensional color depositing that I need. Using it to place the color at the outside of my eye lid, and then using a windshield wiper motion to blend is my application of choice. I ended up buying this from eBay, and I'm not disappointed. I was lucky, I was able to get it for a reasonable price, but I am not looking forward to the day when I'm going to have to replace it! I'm constantly on the look-out for a backup! I can't say enough about the value of this brush. If you see one, BUY IT!!!

I have had this brush for quite some time and never really used it. Recently I have been watching tutorials for "hooded eyes" (I have naturally hooded eyes that have started to grow larger with age) on youtube for makeup tricks and tips to de-emphasize the hood and better define my crease. I have found a few gurus that use this brush especially for that purpose. I have started to follow their tips and tricks and now really appreciate this brush!! The 275 really helps me apply shadow to my crease and de-emphasize my hooded eye. Super happy that I'm finally able to find a good use for this brush.

Lovely soft fibres, looks very chic too. I use this for application, blending, contouring, whatever! Doesn't bother me. Nothing special though, the only thing that stands out above other brands is the soft hairs. However some of mine have started to fall out! Which is very annoying...

I feel like I owe this brush an apology. When I first got it I tried it once or twice but all my attempts failed rather spectacularly, so I left it in my brush bag unused for some time. I eventually pulled it out again and decided to have another go, and I'm so glad I did. I use this mainly as a crease brush, although I'm sure it's great for other uses, too. At the moment I'm going through a phase of using a lot of matt colours, and I'm really liking the look of a strong, defined crease. The bristles on this brush are super soft but firm, and it's perfect for working into the crease (or creating a slightly higher crease, in my case) and blending. My eyes are fairly small and somewhat deep set which I think is why I originally struggled with this brush, and my only suggestion to MAC would be that I would LOVE to see an almost identical brush made by them that is just fractionally smaller. As it is I can definitely work with this brush and I think it would be great for most people, but if you have smaller eyes and not a lot of lid space it takes a bit more practice.
Regardless, I love this brush and intend to purchase a back up. Quality wise it's at the upper end for MAC brushes, I have yet to notice it shed and it is used and washed regularly.

This brush is one of the best yet it is so underrated!!! I use it for everything. The lid, crease, highlighter, blending, you name it!!! It is so soft and I have sensitive lids.
BTW I got the SE version 3 1/2 years ago and this still looks good as new!! Considering that most SE are not the best. I just have to imagine how good the original is!

Poor little unassuming MAC 275. I was frankly surprised at the sheer number of reviews on this brush, since it tends to receive such little attention on most of the online beauty sites that I consult - especially in comparison to MAC stars like the 226, 239, and 219, for example. This was one of my first MAC brushes, and I adore it - in fact, I love it so much that I own two, so that just in case I am doing a more complex eye look I always have an extra clean one just in case to keep the colors unmuddied (crazy, I know - but *so* worth it). This brush is silky, sturdy, and has not shed a hair despite frequent use and washings. I use it to apply eyeshadow anywhere from down right near the lash line up to the brow bone, and it deposits color evenly and effectively (I only use it with powder shadows, however - I would not recommend it for use with emollients). The 275 also works wonderfully with foiled shadows - just a tiny spritz of Avene Thermal Water or MAC Fix+ does the trick, and my shadows are transformed. No, this is not a fancy brush, but it is a workhorse in terms of quality and range of uses. I would definitely repurchase.

LOVE THIS BRUSH! This is one of the most versatile brushes MAC makes.
What I use it for:
-All over lid in windsheild motion, crease work, inner corner, blending, highlight, and applying setting powder to concealer.
Those are all of the different ways I use this brush. Absolutely love love love this brush. Can't get enough!

I love this brush. Its not a very good blending brush but its good for an all over lid application. the pointed tip is good for getting those areas at the corners of your eyes. I have 2 of these brushes cuz Id be too scared to lose one!

I absolutely adore this brush :) I have the Special Edition version of this brush, and I find it works exceedingly well, considering some MAC SE brushes can be duds. I was in need of a new angled brush, I was using one by POSH for the longest time, which was dual sided- but after two years of use, the ferrule was coming loose and I thought I would need something extra in case it came loose one day and does break. A very sweet MUA'er sent this to me as an extra in a swap, and I was so excited to try it. I like using angled brushes for applying my all over highlight color to my eyes, and for adding eyeshadows to my tearduct area- and this brush does this very well. The bristles are very soft, and pick up a nice amount of color and distribute it evenly. Would I purchase a full size? no, because this is working fabulous as is, and I dont feel the need to spend to much $$ on a brush that does the simple job of highlighting. All in all, I adore this and I'm very glad I had the chance to try it.

I LOVE this brush! it's one of the 3 brushes I use on a daily basis (the others are 239 and 224) Like another reviewer said, I guess it ultimately depends on your eye shape how to/ if you can use it. I use it to shade color in the crease up to the middle area of my eyelid. it also works well to the contour the "outer V" area for a smokey eye look.

I don't know how to use this brush so I only use it for highlighting. Reading the reviews, I guess I can try it for blending but since I have small eyelids, I prefer MAC 222, 224 with more pointy ends for blending. Since the bristles are dense, it's great at picking up colors. I should use it more often...
