I absolutely love this stuff!! Thats a first for me, since I am usully not into the smelly shave gels, but this one is just right on the fragrance. This didnt give me the little bumps that most shave gels give me. I will definately repurchase!

Smells so nummy. Veyr light and vanilla not strong and sickening. Gives a close shave and I rarly get cuts.

This is my go-to shave gel. After gagging on the fragrances of the aromatherapy shave gels, the fruit-scented shave gels, and the ones that smell like men's cologne, I like the light scent of this gel. It's not a true vanilla scent, but that doesn't matter much to me - I just want the scent to be light and to disappear after I get out of the shower. The price is low, and the product works well for me. Definitely keep the bottom of the container dry so it does not leave a rust ring on the shower shelf.

This is one of the few shaving gels I repurchased INTENTIONALLY (before I'd just grab whatever they had because I could care less) It a nice creamy vanilla smell ( I dont detect any plastic) and It does its job well - doesn't leave my skin dry or tight.

I bought this awhile ago, and while I am not always fond of the Satin Care line (except for the Orange Swirl fragrance they made a few years ago), I figured I would give this a try because I love vanilla scents. I could hardly detect any vanilla in this product, and it left my skin dry and tight. I would be willing to put up with a little dry skin, if I was shaving with a nice vanilla scent, but this shave gel really does nothing for me scent-wise or performance-wise. I wish they didn't discontinue the Orange Swirl shave gel, I was in love with that!

I am a HUGE fan of vanilla scents, so I was thrilled to find this on my shopping trip to Walmart. However, this stuff disappointed- I found it to be a plasticky vanilla scent when I was expecting something sweet and creamy. Plus, this offered zero protection while shaving- I ended up with little red bumps and razor burn on my legs which never happens to me. (and I was using a new razor too!) Won't rebuy.

I love this shaving gel. I'm a fan of Satin Care itself, so the vanilla scent is a plus. True, the scent is light, but it's still there, and I'm not counting on it to scent my body - just to make the process a little more delightful. Cheap and effective.

This is the best shaving cream out there. Everytime I use this and Im done shaving my legs, it really makes me want to shave again ! lol.. It smells sooo good, Im definitely sticking to this one for good.

I'm not a fan of Satin Care shave products. They encourage nicks and cuts, offer little razor protection (even against the Gillette Venus razor), and the smell isn't strong enough for my tastes. I tried this with hopes of a strong, creamy vanilla aroma and was disappointed by the weak hint of vanilla plastic I smelled.

Have to keep this on hand. I love Vanilla bath products, especially in the winter. I think this has a POWERFUL vanilla scent. I gave off 1 lippie for the packaging, which leaves a rust ring if you leave in the tub - you have to dry it and put it in your medicine cabinet. But, every brand does that, not just gillette.

One of the reviewers is dead-on accurate about this shave gel smelling like Amber Romance by Victoria Secret. Therefore, I like it. It works just as well as any other Gilette shave gel and I have tried them all. Will repurchase...I even have an extra one on hand.

Vanilla is one of my favorite scents so I was happy to find this new product. Gillette shave gel is also one of my favorites so this looked like a match made in heaven. Well, I was very disappointed. The smell, as others have mentioned, isn't quite what I expected. Maybe it's difficult to cover up the soapy chemical scent of the shave gel with a light fragrance such as vanilla. Not one of the best I've tried. I used it up but won't buy this again unless they change the fragrance formula.

I agree with the review below: this is a perfectly okay shave gel, but it doesn't smell like vanilla (or much of anything else). Next time I'll buy a different scent, or if I want something virtually unscented, the Aveeno shave gel for its superior moisturizing properties.

I've been looking for a vanilla shaving cream for a while now, so I was really excited to find this. However, it doesn't smell like vanilla. It smells pretty soapy, and like all Gillette shave gels the cap is too hard to take off with wet hands (it ends up flying accross the room some how). I don't Like it at all!

I was excited to see this in a vanilla scent. I am a vanilla addict. It is actually a light vanilla scent with some amber. It smells a bit like a very light version of Victoria's Secret's Amber Romance. I was hoping for more of a vanilla ice cream scent. The formula is a typical shave gel. Nothing spectacular. I don't plan on repurchasing. There are many other scents to try. I do like the packaging. The cap is soft plastic and so much easier to take on and off than Skintimate Shave Gels cap(which is harder plastic and difficult to replace w/ wet hands). Sounds silly but it makes a difference.
