The base of this brush is very wide and with a somewhat flattened cross-section. The head is rounded/domed, thick and dense, made with soft hairs. This is like a bigger version of the NARS smudge brush. I use this mostly for applying powder eyeshadow as a wash over the entire lid. It is a nice complement to the other traditionally shaped and sized eyeshadow brushes in my collection. I got mine for $16 at Ulta and have been very pleased with my purchase.
