I knew I had to buy a bottle of this; rye bread is hubby’s favorite food. Although many Demeter’s are astonishingly accurate there are also more than a few where it’s a guessing game, and I was expecting that to be the case here. But when I stuck my arm under DH’s nose and said ‘guess!’ he immediately said ‘rye bread!’ It has a caraway note that keeps it from being unleavened dull, it’s slightly sweet, and, I think, could be worn as a whimsical scent.

It smells like rye bread. I was worried that the fennel would be to prominent, but it's very subtle. It's not very wearable, but I don't care. It makes me think of leisurely mornings on days off... and I never get enough of those.
