I do really like this product but I have to say I was expecting it to be far more abrasive. My skin is sensitive to ingredients but not necessarily to exfoliating formulas so I love a good scrub!
I use this every evening after I've removed my makeup and it leaves my skin feeling soft with fewer spots. I'm not sure whether it's my makeup or that I need to up the anti on my makeup remover, but I still have foundation residue after using this that I see on my toner pad - I thought this scrub would have helped to get all of that off seeing as it is 'Ultra'.
Nevertheless, it's good. I think Neutrogena Deep Clean Scrub is better, I only used it once at a friend's house but it was very cooling and had more OOMPH.

I purchased this and didn't read the ingredients. I used it for a long time and kept getting really big red cystic acne bumps and my skin would only stay clear for 1 day I always had pimples...after changing my diet and only drinking water and still get bad cystic acne I decided to look into what I was washing with which was this.....and their it was this has castor oil and other oils in it which me having extremely oily skin that means constant breakouts..needless to say I stop using immediately and my face cleared up and stays clear.

this the worst product ive ever used. ever.
im not kidding.
there are scrubbing microbeads, which DONT break down. they penetrate deep into pores, and do not release medication or do anything beneficial. to make a long, disgusting, story short: the beads clog your pores. and they DON'T break down. stay away from this.

GREAT PRODUCT! All I can say. I used this for one week and my skin was extremely clear. My skin was soo soft and supple, It wasnt drying yet still removed all the oil from my skin. The beads were very fine and gentle which was a plus. This is an amazing product and I will definitely be using again!

I used this in my late teens when I had very very mild acne. It was more toward the side on minor breakouts. I LOVED it. It truly did work for me. In a matter of days my skin was clearing up and eventually was back to being clear. It even kept my skin clear. I used it as my normal cleanser and it was amazing. It never tapered off or irritated my skin, ever.

This is the perfect answer for people with mild breakouts. this is NOT a real acne treatment. This is for the occasional semi-stubborn zit/breakout. As much as I loved this stuff, it will not treat serious acne.
If you have continuous breakouts that won't really go away or increasing/stubborn redness, go talk to a doctor or seek out a treatment made for such.

It really is fantastic for what it is.

LOVE this product! I used it a while ago and it worked great, but I'm the type of person that likes to try different products so I bought something else once I finished this. My skin began to break out so I tried a few more products before I came back to this. It didn't work as well the second time around, so I tried more different products. After AcneFree left my skin dry and broken out, I used this Clearisil Scrub. I've only been using it for a few days and it's already working like it used to! I'm so relieved...love love love this product! :)

I've been using this for about 4 to 5 years now. I occasionally try new scrubs for my face but always end up going back to this one! It even works better than any 3 step system I have tried. I have very oily, acne prone skin, and honestly, this is the only thing that works for me.

After a seriously horrible breakout from clinique's 3-step system, I was willing to try anything. This helped clear my skin after ONE, yes ONE wash. & it is only getting better. It's worth trying, it's about $8, easy to find, a trusted brand, and it WORKS!

First of all, my one true love will always be St. Ives Apricot Scrub (Medicated). Since I really am having a hard time finding it, I resorted to this scrub. I absolutely love it! Every time I use it, my skin is left really smooth and even toned, and what little blemishes I have would vanish by the next day. The beads are a bit gritty but not as rough as St. Ives, and does an absolutely wonderful job of exfoliating. The scent is a bit overpowering, which made me take off a lippie. I wish these companies would stop pumping their face products with so much "perfumy" fragrance because it can irritate for some.

I was having alot of painful breakouts and have been seeking a solution for my oily/acne prone skin for years. I never ever buy the same product twice if it did not work and if it does then it stops working after a while. I bought this scrub and the gel wash for 11$ each canadian at walmart and after about three days of using this scrub after the gel wash twice a day OMG! was my skin looking alot healthier and clearer. Then after that dryness flaking chapping cracking bleeding around my mouth chin and nose omg it was horrid I never have had this problem before. They both work well on acne but be careful. This also will make ur skin very soft and smooth. The packaging is very neat and tidy aswell as pleasant to look at. but wont buy again

I have tried a plethora of scrubs in my day, and many seem to deliver the same results - they work for maybe a few weeks, and then it's as if my skin rejects it, and it no longer works. Before I started using Clearasil Ultra, I was using Biore Pore Un-Clogging scrub, which delivered mediocre results. After awhile, however, I wanted something new to try. I saw this on drugstore.com, and decided to give it a go. I love the coarse beads, which message and relax my face. It seems to control acne, although I think it's mostly the fact that I use the contraceptive pill also. Either way, it deserves a try.

I tried this because the Clearasil Ultra Cream was working well for me. Problem is, I didnt consider the fact that this scrub has the S. Acid, while the cream has B. Peroxide. I have learned that one chemical usually works well on some people and not for others. But not both. S. Acid hasnt been too nice to my skin in the past, so I dont know what posessed me to try this scrub. But I did, and it made me breakout worse. I'm glad it worked for so many other people though. But I wish they would have made a B.Peroxide scrub with this line too...

Although this product was working great for me and people noticed how clear my skin was, I decided to go with a cheaper alternative which was the Apricot Scrub that got many good reviews on here. My skin started to break out a week later and I continued to use the rest of the of the product to not waste it. This made me realize why I stuck to Clearasil and I'm definitely going to start using this again.

Great cleanser! Doesn't dry out my skin, but makes it really clean! I've only had it a short time and it is already preventing new acne and healing existing zits.

I've never been crazy about Clearasil. My skin isn't sensitive, but Clearasil always seems to upset my skin and make it flare up in red. When I ran out of my normal scrub, the only thing I could find was my brother's Clearasil Ultra scrub. I figured I'd use it, as I hate using basic face cleansers, my face never feels all the way clean without a scrub. I really liked how gritty it was. I could tell it would definitely remove my makeup, as well as dead skin. My skin felt really smooth and soft afterwards, and there wasn't that redness I usually have after using Clearasil products. Unfortunetely, after using this for a few days, I noticed I was breaking out more and more, so I stopped and it all went away.

I have tried A LOT of acne products, and this is the only thing that has really really worked for me. I've tried proactive and my face kinda exploded- and I had to use Clearasil to fix the damage that proactive did to me! It works quickly, you can see results, but it is definitely drying. I would not recommend this for people with sensitive skin, as the mircobeads are grainy in texture. This is the only face wash that I've used that actually achieves what it promises, and it's not expensive. If you do have a problem with dry skin, you should only use this once a day, or once every other day.. and DON'T USE A TONER WHEN USING THIS unless you are super intensely oily, because you will be so dry your face would probably peel off like a peel off mask.
