I have come to the conclusion that 'green’ eye shadow is more flattering on me than browns, and Humid is one of the most striking, vivid forest-greens out there! It looks so gorgeous applied all over the lid with a little bit of Greensmoke blended into the crease, this gives it a lot of depth and creates ridiculously easy smokey eye. I also love to apply this to the outer corner when I wear Greensmoke and Sumptuous Olive for a quick flash of green. Definitely one to purchase for brown eyes, the contrast in colours is just mesmerising.

BEST GREEN EVER! I am a NC25 with green eyes and this shade brings them out beautifully! I could not live without this e/s . I use a very neutral shimmery taupe shade on the lid, like UD stray dog or Patina and Humid in the crease and it is just a dream. Humid blends sooooo beautifully, especially considering what a bright color it is. Check out my blog for pics:

I love this colour. It's a nice dark and deep shade of green. I usually use it as an accent colour with patina (crease and lid) and grain (inner 1/3 of lid). Where I use humid in the outer v and as a eyeliner on about 1/3 of the lower as well as upper lashline. Might be a bit more on the upper.

This was the first MAC shadow I ever bought and is still one of my favorites - the color is fantastic for pale skin.

ive been meaning to purchase humid, but when i was lucky enough to find this in cco (its in the green packaging collection w/starfish &seahorse?)..anyways i thought urban decay's mildew was a dupe but im wrong..
humid is a bit deeper and a less goldeny and i love it..its soft, pigmented and a great alternative to a brown smokey eye..one of the ways i like to use it is, apply mac's Mystical all over the lid and a little above the crease, then take humid and pack it on the lid and apply lower lash line...i used macs keep it cool( brun or any dark shadow would suffice) and blended the upper crease out with macs quarry...i know it sounds strange but i got compliments and its not gaudy lookin at all..woohoo for humid

I knew I would be obsessed with this before I even tried it on. This is the perfect forest green I've been looking for-- not too dark, not to light, and not too bright. Humid was MADE for my coloring. I'm fair, cool toned with dark brown eyes and dark brown hair. This makes my eyes pop and I wish I could just wear it every day as a smokey eye but my boyfriend prefers the natural look unfortunately so I compromise and use Humid on my lower lashline. I love wearing it with tempting all over the lid, NARS Mekong in the outer corner, and Humid on my lower lashline and sometimes to smoke out Smolder eye kohl on my upper lashline. And gorgeous gold as a brow and inner corner highlight. ONly complaint is it does fade by the end of the day (with UDPP on! ) but I have crazy oily lids so..that may just be me.

Women with brown, olive, tan, or yellow-based skin: green is NOT your enemy! I'm so surprised at the number of women who are afraid of green eyeshadows...even at the number of women who stay away from green clothing/dresses! Green can be a sultry, sexy, sophisticated shade that brings out the golden tones of your skin. This shadow is typical of MAC's quality, so no surprises there. I would suggest that, even though green is not a daily colour for most, it's worth investing in this one by MAC because lesser quality green eyeshadows may have poor payoff and end up looking muddy or grayed-out. In addition, if you're going to use a rich emerald green, you really want it to blend with other shadows easily, and Humid does that exceedingly well. With this one, you know you're getting the value for money and it will last a long time.
.
Try this with on the outer corner with MAC Woodwinked on the inner corner, or any other similar gold eyeshadow. Try it blended with a brownish or gold green such as MAC Sumptuous Olive or Club. Or, try it all over the lid with UD Smog on the crease and UD Darkhorse on the upper and lower lashlines. Stunning!

This shadow is really pigmented and goes on like butter. The color in the pan is gorgeous. Very versatile with golds and browns.

This is a very pigmented beautiful green, but I don't reach for it often. Wouldn't buy again. There are other greens that go better with my blue eyes.

This is a really pretty colour and I like it, but I find it hard to work with. I've been trying different methods to blend it out. I've been trying it many different ways, but nothing seems to be working. I have hopes that I'll have something worked out by St.Patrick's Day. I'll keep working with it but I probably wouldn't buy it again. Although, I think this one will last me forever (or until it goes bad) because I don't wear it much.

This is very GREEN! LOL. It's pretty just a bit too much for my taste. I always wear it blended with another color. I did want a bright pretty green that showed up well on my skin and Humid is it.

This is one of my staple shadows, it's the perfect mossy/forest green color. I will re-buy this over and over. THe pigmentation is amazing, and it goes with so many shades.

I bought this so I could create a green smoky eye with Lucky Green. It's a deep green that stays true-to-color on my skin, without turning muddy or colorless! To my surprise, it's also light enough that I can wear it on its own and it looks really good with other non-green shadows, too.
It's really soft, blends extremely well, and stays the same color all day long. It has very sparse shimmer that keeps it from looking too dark on my eyelids.

My favorite color is green. In fact, colors that look like Humid are my favorite shades in the green family. Boy do I wish I could wear this color! It looks aweful on me!
It looks dirty and muddy, no matter what I do to brighten the color. I've used the MAC cream base "luna" to lighten, I've cleaned my brushes, tried a lighter shade of concealer and foundation, nothing worked for me.
I had really wanted a smokey green, and everytime I see it at the MAC counter, I wish I wear it, but sadly no. It looks beautiful on other people, but not I.

I use this shadow CONSTANTLY. I find it very easy to blend and use it with a green smoky eye. I also love to use it as an eye liner. I am mixed so it can be hard to find eye shadows that stay true to their color with staying power. $15 for a single eye shadow freaked me out when I first started using MAC but I don't have to use as much product then with other shadows I have tried.

I picked this up at a CCO in some LE packaging (with a seashell on the top of the case) for 10 bucks. I don't really wear green shadows all that often and have more than enough greens to cover those occasions but I knew that Humid was very highly rated here, so I picked it up and I'm glad I did.
Humid is a Frost finish but, as is typical with most MAC frosts, it doesn't have chunky, unmanageable glitter but rather a bright, flattering "sheen". I'm wearing it today, in a "last gasp" of summer, on my outer lid and crease, with Steamy on the inner 2/3 of my lid and Wedge to help blend out the brilliant green into my brow bone. While it's pretty vivid and brighter than anything I'd wear to work, I can see that Humid could be a terrific autumn colour too, worn with some matte browns and neutrals or used as a liner under my lower lashes. It's a great colour for brown eyes and while even MAC's description of it says it's an "intense green", it really can be toned down so that it can be an all seasons and work appropriate look. Certainly a good green to have in your collection and it looks amazing paired with Steamy.

I am a sucker for green eyeshadows and Humid is among my favorites. I love it! You can combine it with bronze, other greens etc. I love the texture, the excellent pigmentation and the fantastic lasting power. This is definitely one of my favorite eyeshadows from MAC. I'd definitely repurchase!
