Gorgeous plummy shade. I tried it today with Shimmertime pigment and they blended really well together. I'm thinking this shade would work great with something like Pink Opal pigment too. The colour of the pot is unique too, so it stands out in my collection with it's little metallic sheen. Veluxe Pearls are easy to work with for me. Yes, I would repurchase.

Love, love, love, this one. It is crazy scary bright in the pot, but applied, couldn't be more pretty. It is very sheer, which is why I love the Veluxe Pearl e/s. I so wish I had a couple more of these.

I LOVE LEISURETIME. It's not as red as Plum Dressing like the previous reviewer said and is has a MUCH better texture. I love Veluxe Pearls- They are smooth and "buttery". I'm often fearful of medium-dark purple shadows, because I look tend to bruised when wearing them. Leisuretime doesn't give that "Just got out of the boxing ring" effect that so many purple shadows have on me. If you like Star Violet you'll LOVE Leisuretime. They are quite similar.

I love me some MAC Veluxe Pearls. Except Plum Dressing really did disappoint me. The color payoff was mediocre and it applied a little bit too chalky for comfort. Thus enters Leisuretime, a limited edition eyeshaodw with the Belle Azure collection. It’s not as red as Plum Dressing, but still has all the beautiful redeeming purple qualities I was seeking in Plum Dressing. I don’t really look too hot in cool tones, so this warmish purple was just what I was looking for. And hello - the divine texture! Leisuretime seems a little bit sheerer than say, Elite (also released with the Belle Azure collection), but it takes well to being layered for increased intensity. I don’t reach for this color much, but it’s beautiful and I like having it around!

This is a pretty e/s and the color descriptions by other reviewers are accurate in my opinion. This looked lovely w/pink freeze and phloof. The only thing I didn't care for is that I found this one to be a little chalky in texture and therefore slightly hard to blend. Overall though, I would recommend.

I love this eye shadow! :o) I only gave four lippies because it's not an entirely unique shade. It's just a straight shimmery purple/plum/burgundy and looks great paired with pinks. It has a wonderful texture and applies and blends quite nicely. Enjoy!

Lesiuretime is a pretty colour. I expected it to be a bit more pigmented, but nonetheless it is beautiful. I LOVE pinks, plums, and purples so I had to get this one. It's gorgeous with some pink opal pigment and the new Resort eye kohl. I would buy again.

BEAUTIFUL burgundy-plum with TONS of shine. Makes my hazel-green eyes just POP. Obnoxious how this is limited edition. Hmm. It's kind of a "special occasion" colour, but it is WELL WORTH owning at least one.

I love this shadow. The texture/consistancy, the color, and even the packaging! The shiny e/s case helps me distinct the belle azure (veluxe pearls) from my other shadows. THe color is what i wished trax was. Trax made me look like i had a bruised eye or something and for me it was hard to apply the true color onto the eyelids. But Leisuretime was true to its pan applied and the consistancy is so smooth. i love it. i would buy this again if it werent LE.

Looks like hepcat swatched on my hand, but leisuretime looks very bruise like on my eyes which hepcat does not. Not the standout shade of Belle Azure. Get Lucky Green from this collection, and pick up hepcat in place of this.

I know there are plenty of color descriptions, some calling it purple and others calling it maroon, so let me elaborate. This is a softly shimmered, medium-dark mauvey plum. I wouldn't call it purple and I wouldn't call it maroon, though someone could accurately describe it as wine-colored. It goes on really smooth and blends well. I'm pale and can still pull it off. I wore it today with Electra on the inner corner and Leisuretime blended to the outer corner and underneath the eye. It looked very polished and the look took me no time at all. I would definitely rebuy!

Although this is slightly different from Hepcat when I apply them on my hand side by side, when applied on my eyes I cannot tell the difference...at all. If you don't already have Hepcat or Plum Dressing (which also is very similar) than I say go for it, but if you have than I say pick up Lucky Green as it's absolutely smashing!!

Leisuretime is a medium-dark metallic plummy purple. I'm really loving the texture and pigment of MAC's veluxe pearls; they are SO pigmented and soft. I agree with the other reviewers who said that Plum Dressing and Hepcat aren't very similar - Leisuretime is the prettiest of the three, IMO.

I LOVE this shadow, simply because it makes my eyes pop and its a very unique shade. On my dark brown eyes and pigmented lids it appears to be a pinky-purple, but definitely more dark pinkish. Its gorgeous and high pigment. I will definitely have to check out other veluxe pearl shadows. These are by far the best e/s formula mac has. I'm a GGG, Armani lsf 8, mac c40-nc42/3

Leisuretime is a limited edition shadow released June 2005 with the Belle Azure collection. This is the veluxe formula so its very smooth and easy to blend. Its has a stunning metallic sheen to it, and its a bright vivid purple with burgandy/red undertones. This is not a dark plum purple but a warmer vivid magenta purple. Very pretty shade. I wear this in the crease it looks great. You can definately tell this is purple. Since its limited edition its only available in a flip top bronze pot and retails for $13. I think its a great shade.

Well, I have to say that I was not expecting Leisuretime eyeshadow to be as nice as it is. I already have Hepcat, so I debated about this shadow. Many have said that it looks just like it.

I have a very defined sense of color and can usually see nuances that many others miss. I have to say that I am thankful for those who told me that this shadow was different from Hepcat. It is very different

First of all the formula is much smoother and easier to apply. Secondly, the family is the same of the color, but the color itself is different.

Hepcat is a deep blue plum color with very little shimmer in it. It is chalky and hard to apply, but nice. Leisuretime is a reddish plum color with a lot more shimmer in it. If you were to cross Hepcat with Ruby pigment, you would come close to Leisuretime. The shimmer is slighly more plum than the shimmer in Ruby, however.

All in all, Leisuretime is a beautiful color and I am glad I got it. I know that I will use it quite a bit as I love brilliant color. Definitely for cool toned skin, but bright warm spring palettes could use it too with certain looks. I will update as I use it more.

Leisuretime released in June 2005 from the Belle Azure Collection is a shimmery metallic plum purple. It is often compared to Hepcat but honestly, I do not think they are alike. I find that I cannot wear very many purples without looking like I got punched in the eye. However with Leisuretime, this was not the case. One of the few purples that actually work for me. I would definitely repurchase if this wasn't LE.

A slightly shimmery berry/maroon colour of great texture. I find this the most interesting (of the 3 bright colours, Lucky Green, Belle Azure & this). Especially pretty on brunettes and asians.

Such a fun purple! I didn't think I would like this one. Also, likely b/c of my green eyes, MAs always put purple on me, and I don't wear it that often. But I think this one will be great for summer evenings (the MA applied it with Deckchair pigment and Saddle for the crease), or applied with a very light hand for more daring days at the office.
