A good all-purpose shampoo for men or women of any hair type.

Nothing but the lovely, mysteriously floral smell makes it stand out from others at this price point (except Pantene, which sucks), but nothing makes me want to stop buying it for a backup shampoo, either.

Love this product! I have super long thick hair with a realtively oily scalp. My ends tend to get dry due to the length, so I was worried this shampoo would dry out my ends in order to take care of the greasy roots. My fears were for naught-- this product balanced my hair perfectly. I've used many other expensive products and this is by far the best for my hair type. I use this with Aussie 3-Minute Miracle and love it!

This did get rid of the oiliness at my roots, but left the rest of my hair a tad parched. When used with the 3-minute miracle it works just fine.

This shampoo does exactly what it says - cleans the oily scalp, is gentle to drier ends. Tasty fragrance, sturdy bottle (snaps down so well that it's hard to open with wet hands, and it doesn't leave my hair in any state of distress. Only deducted a lippy due to the squeakiness at the roots when rinsing.

I used this product when I was younger--before I started dying my hair--and for a while, it did great things for my teenage roots and split ends.

Now, it's too drying for my damaged hair, but I'd still recommend it or pick it up in a pinch. Nice smell, and it really does do a good job of moisturizing the hair shaft while keeping the scalp clean.

I really liked the shampoo at first, it seemed like a great remedy to my oily roots and damaged tips. It worked for a few weeks...then I noticed my hair started falling out. When I switched shampoos, it stopped.

I have curly hair with an oily scalp, so the "dual personality" aspect of this product fits perfectly. I absolutely love the scent (like tropical lime)! It cleans my hair well and doesn't leave my scalp greasy, although some days my roots are a little limp after using this. I guess I'll keep using it until I find my HG shampoo. I also use the conditioner from the same line.

pretty good shampoo if you want to clean your hair without stripping it but it's very similar to suave naturals daily clarifying shampoo for me to re purchase, suave leaves my hair softer.
edit: this shampoo makes my hair clean without stripping moisture or my color, better than suave, perfect for days that i work out, makes my hair super shiny too, a plus.

I LOVE this product. Normally a shampoo wont make my hair stay nice for more than a few weeks, but Ive been using this literally 5 days out of the week (i try to alternate with other shampoos to avoid dandruff) for over a year now. Sometimes its best without the conditioner, sometimes its better with the conditioner. Either way, it smells absolutely wonderful and keeps my hair oil free, soft, smelling good and shiny. One thing tho: I started using it before they "upgraded" a few months later, and I found the Dual Personality in the old, plain bottles to be slightly better than the new ones, and I noticed an ingredient change. Was I just seeing things, or did anyone else notice that? If so, are there any of the old shampoos left to buy?

I hated this shampoo and matching conditioner. My hair looked ok for the first few days, but after that is was greasy on top and dry at the ends. I would not repurchase.

A very affordable product that works to clean greasy roots but leaves the ends moisturized. My hair felt really soft and was less frizzy. Plus the citrusy scent is to die for. Its very uplifting and light.

I think they recently changed the name of the shampoo/conditioner and the packaging. The new version really, really works on my hair! I was shocked. Normally my roots are stringy and g-r-o-s-s and the bottom of my hair is a fluffy, puffy frizzball. This stuff seems to make my hair clean and soft, and it stays clean (for once).

Once upon a time, I had beautiful hair that always looked fantastic and never greasy. Then one day, that all changed. I washed my hair everyday to every other day, but even when I was fresh out of the shower, my hair looked like it hadn't been washed for days. My hair is also fairly damaged (though quiet resilient) from flat-ironing and curling and other miscellaneous travesties. So, I was excited to see this product. It was very cheap (compared to the TIGI products I usually pick up) and smells decent and 1 bottle each of shampoo and conditioner have lasted me about 2 months with everyday showering (though on occasion I use my Control Freak shampoo/conditioner).
It leaves my roots grease free and my hair finally looks like I actually have been washing it. It also gives me a nice amount of shine (not so much as my other shampoos, but then again that very well could be Grease Shine) and my hair is fairly healthy. My hair still feels a little damaged, so I still use conditioning treatments but I am very well pleased with this product, though they have stopped selling it. I recently picked up Cleanse and Mend which I hope will be like this product.
All and all, if you do have problems with oily roots, I would recommend this product. If you don't, then it will probably be too drying for your hair.

It does exactly what it says. I love the product plus it smells pretty good. only complaint is it can be hard to open. lol. way better than Ganier. unfortunatly I contacted the company and they can't garantee it isn't tested on animals, so I won't use again.

For some vexed reason I decided that it's time to explore cheaper shampoo options to help out my wallet. I am a product junkie so I have tried many many drug store's products before but nothing does its damage to my hair as this one this. So much so that I am writing this review to warn others.
I have pretty healthy hair which always bounced back nicely after bleaching, coloring without any problem but after just ONE wash of this shampoo, my hair was SUPER dry!! After my shower and blow dry I was very happy with it as my hair was full of body. However by the end of the night and the next morning, I couldn't feel the normal softness of my hair anymore. Instead it was very "crunchy" and dry ... something I only felt was a frequent hair bleacher years before. So I poured half a bottle of warm almond oil in addition to my normal deep conditioner on my head in order to undo the damage. It is now better but I can still feel the crunchiness of my hair ... Ouch!

I LOVE this shampoo! Along with the dual personality conditioner. It leaves my roots grease and oil free for days. It makes my hair shine and I love the scent. It's a great affordable price too! I'd have to say this is my HG shampoo.

FINALLY! I've found a shampoo that keeps my roots grease free so I can skip washing it for atleast a day if I want to! It smooths my hair, and gives it some body.... I love the smell as well, it reminds me of oranges. Very citrus like. It does what it claims to do! Plus the new packaging is really cute ^_^ Thanks Aussie!

I finally found a product for my colour treated, middle of my back oily scalp and dried ends. This stuff works great. It makes my hair feel very clean and not oily. It doesn't smell that bad but not great either since I had been using Garnier. Stores stopped selling it but I can still find it at Target. I will continue to use it til it ceases to exist like my previous Shampoo.

I have combination hair, so I was pleased to see this. Finally, I thought. It was cheap, so I bought it. It lathers alot and left my hair feeling clean and silky. It even seemed like my hair had grown, since it was so smooth. The next day, my scalp was REALLY itchy and had gone back to its oily state. No other shampoo has done that. I am scared to try it again, so I won't. I have straight, shoulder-length hair. My mom liked it though, so she's keeping it.
