I just read the last review on this product and I couldn't agree more. This is a product that has to have time to work. It is the same case with Alojoba line from Bumble and Bumble. If anyone is experiencing a "tangle like" feeling I would also suggest washing twice, with a silcone free product, before using the conditioner. It's the silicone build up that's causing the tacky feeling. Once you get away from the silicone based products you'll be shocked how much better your hair behaves and feels. I love the Creme de Coco, Alojoba and Seaweed lines. The Tonic and Sunday shampoo is great if you don't have color treated hair. It's a great way to away from the silicone based products. They both do a great job of getting rid of the build up.

If I were to have reviewed this conditioner after only using it a time or two, I would probably have ranted and complained about it, but I wanted to like this stuff so much that I stuck it out and used it for about a month before I developed an opinion...and I'm so glad I did!! I have come to like it very much and it has become my go-to every day use conditioner. More importantly, it stopped the severe breakage from all the bleaching,
The reason I think so many people are initially put off by this product is that it does not contain the silicone or dimethicone that is found in most conditioners claiming to provide softness, detangling, shine, and smoothness. These ingredients coat the hair giving the illusion of soft tangle-free hair, but in the long run, they keep the body's natural oils from coating the hair and ultimately result in drier mane..not a healthier one. B&B Creme do Coco does not have these, therefore does not have that initial "WOW" factor...however, patience is a virtue and given some time and regular use (with a good moisturizing shampoo of course...the corresponding B&B shampoo is wonderful) this conditioner WILL improve the overall health and appearance of hair. (Well, it did mine at least...and mine was BAD). It allows the hair to soak up the natural oils it needs fom the scalp, is super mild, and over time it made my hair just wonderful! I have coarse, naturally curly, thick platinum hait that I flat iron almost every other day...so you can imagine the condition it gets in if I don't baby it a LOT. People are always asking me how I keep my hair so healthy even though it gets pummeled with bleach once a month...I used to "fake it" and use a TON of product to make it look healthy. Since I've made this shampoo and conditioner a part of my regime, I don't need hardly any product except one for heat protection and one to finish (which are both B&B as well), Give it a shot, but remember that even though ya won't have luxuriously transformed hair after just one washing...beauty takes time!

Horrible!!!! I cannot believe all of the hype around this product. I have used dozens of hair products over the years from Suave to L'Oreal professional. This stuff made my hair a tangled, greasy mess. There was no slip whatsoever. When I was combing it thru my hair I couldn't believe it. It was like a thick paste. I left it on & did my other stuff and then went to rinse. I rinsed for what felt like an eternity and my hair still had a residue on it. It left my hair feeling like straw & all tangly. I will not be repurchasing this junk! I've had better luck with Suave.

Yes this smells amazing, but that's about all that is amazing about this conditioner. For the price I was expecting something that would leave my hair soft and healthy, but unfortunately this did not, instead it left my slightly dry colour treated thick hair even drier. After using a few time my hair felt terrible and became very hard to de-tangle, lucky for me I had one of those travel sized bottles because if I had a full size it would have ended up in the bin!

I bought this after hearing about it on YouTube. It was supposed to be for dry hair and to make it softer. I used it once, but then I felt guilty about using it more because of the price. I just found it a week ago and decided to give it another try, but use it differently. I did my normal Saturday Routine (Clarifying shampoo, Paul Mitchell Super Strong Treatment which is my HG treatment, and then normally the Matrix Biolage Conditioning Balm) I decided to use this instead of my Matrix for Moisture. I must say I remember why I lost it. It made my hair a tangled mess and I hate it....
Do NOT BUY!!!

I have been using this for over a week now. I have to be honest and say I was expecting better results for the price it is. The smell is wonderful yes, but my hair feels a little dry since I have been using this. Probably won't be repurchasing, but will still use the Creme de Coco treatment which is fantastic.

This is a very heavy conditioner that works well with my fine hair now that I've moved to a dry climate. Previously when I lived in Seattle I used the Leave-in/Rinse out conditioner and would rinse it out but here in the dry part of our state I find that even leaving it in is not enough so I switched to this product. It leaves my hair silky, shiny and very manageable. Def. a keeper for me.

Great compliment to the creme de coco shampoo. It detangles really well and leavrs hair very soft. It is great for dry or brittle hair. It shouldnt be used on fine or flat hair as it may be too heavy for it.

I think people are misguided by this product. Don't forget that Bumble & Bumble is always providing studio quality products. There isn't anything in the Creme de Coco conditioner that would mask your damaged ends, such as silicones or waxes that many other conditioners use.

I always receive product samples of this particular conditioner after a hair appointment and honestly, people give it away because they want you to come back. This is an awesome product and because of that I use fairly regularly. Starting off with a 2oz bottle would be decent for a few washes. The hinted scent of coconut is isn't bad at all, but it doesn't last very long on me personally.

I was at Target and I saw this product, which is usually a good 20-30 dollars, on sale for 3.12 cents. I jumped on that quick and grabbed the remaining three bottles because it was such a good deal and I figured if it didn't work for me I could pawn it off to my friends. I did think it would be another overpriced product that did nothing a four dollar conditioner wouldn't do, that I'd use half the bottle at one time just to be able to get a comb through my hair. My hair's between shoulder and armpit length when straight but I usually wear it in its super thick afro state, and it sucks up moisture like a vacuum, so when I saw all the negative reviews about it I was reluctant. Especially since there was only like, one from someone whose hair sounded similar to mine, and they hated it.

This is unnecessarily long, so I'll just say that I was pleasantly surprised when I went to use it. I did use three small, semi-palmfuls of conditioner on my hair, but when I examined the bottle later it looked like there was hardly a dent made in how much product there was. The conditioner made detangling A LOT easier (although it could also be because I just did and conditioner wash this time instead of a shampoo one before, which of course dries hair out) and it turned out that I probably didn't even need to use as much as I did. It smells nice and soft, but it fades quickly. That's fine with me since I usually air dry my hair in a bun and other leave-ins I use have a lingering smell. I have to say that I was pleasantly pleased with this product, the ingredients, the packaging and everything about it. I don't have to give away the bottles because I'm keeping them all for myself. Haha.

I put that I'd buy it again, but honestly unless it's on sale or I have a serious surplus of money (a rarity) I probably won't. I just can't justify paying 20+ for an 8 oz bottle of conditioner when I have so many other things to pay for. I won't be above buying a bottle if I need a "treat yourself" day though.

This is quite possibly one of the best conditioner I have ever used. I'm so glad I referred to MUA for this! I was looking for a good conditioner that doesn't contain silicones and my search has ended. This leaves my hair soft, moisturized, shiny, manageble and tames the frizz on my wavy hair. I love the smell. I 100% agree with ontheglam, most people are used to tons of 'cones' and don't realize how over the long run, it actually dries your hair out more. After a good wash with baking soda water forumla (no, I don't use real shampoo anymore, not often anyways) I comb this through and let it sit while I do the rest of my thing in shower. I end up with silky, soft, shiny, less-frizzy hair that smells amazing. I highly recommend. I will continue to switch between this and Aveda Clove conditioner once a week.

The only conditioner I have bought four times. I love it because it gives me incredibly soft, shiny, healthy looking hair that smells WONDERFUL. I've got long fine hair with oily-prone roots and damaged ends, and this (with the Coco shampoo) conditions perfectly without being too heavy. This has never left my hair greasy or itchy. A very little goes a long way too. The coco-duo was the first salon stuff I bought almost 5 years ago and ever since it seems no matter how I stray I always come back to Bumble and bumble.

I can understand why some people don't think this is very moisturizing, but hear me out. Most conditioners contain loooooads of silicones, which is what makes your hair feel "Slippery" or super duper soft in the shower. This conditioner doesn't have any silicones in it, which is what I think people have come to expect from their hair products. However, these silicones are terrible for most people's hair- especially if one's hair is prone to being dry or brittle or breaking. Silicone coats the hair shaft and seals it off from any outside moisture (including your body's natural oils, which the hair needs) and oxygen. Essentially, it gets suffocated. Bad bad, makes the hair dryer over time.
This conditioner has lots of good stuff in it, and over time I'm finding that the condition of my hair has improved noticeably, and I'm usually prone to breakage and dryness. Also, a little goes a loooong way with this stuff. Truly, a quarter-sized dollop will do the trick and I'm used to using like a handful of conditioner on my hair. This conditioner almost seems to lather a bit when you massage it in. Do I like paying $20+ for a small bottle of conditioner? Heck freaking no. I found mine as a 2-pack at Target for $18, so I decided it was worth it to try. It is. So I'm hoping I'll be able to find a sale again when I run out, because I think this stuff is great. Also smells incredible.

Hands down the best conditioner I have ever used. My hair LOVES this conditioner. It is so expensive, but I try not to use too much, and it has done wonders for my hair. It's always super soft when I use it.

Note: My hair is curly, and can get dry. If your hair texture is not leaning toward the dry side, then this may not be for you since it's super rich. It makes my hair really soft and smooth. It's the best!

I'm a huge fan of the shampoo and the conditioner is also great. A little goes a very long way. I have super tangly hair and this does a very good job of smoothing it out.

I love this conditioner; it's one of my HG hair products. I have naturally curly (3a), color-treated hair, so I need moisture but I have issues with products weighing my hair down. This conditioner delivers the perfect amount of moisture for me, plus I love the smell (a very mild coconut scent). It is pricey, but I find that a little goes a long way. I use Creme de Cocoa shampoo, too.

Love Bumble & Bumble's simple packaging.

Not worth the money. This is pretty standard but will majorly weigh down fine or regular hair. I use it every couple of days and its ok enough but not something I will buy again. Hair looks pretty greasy the next day. Smell is ok but doesn't leave me drooling :)

What people need to understand about this is that since its cone free, it won't give you up front results if you have highly damaged hair. I mean there are some cone free conditioners that wow you right away, and those are the five lippie hgs. I used to use this religiously for the smell, I admit. My hair wasn't amazing but it was combating my bleaching and daily washing/blowdrying/straightening. I've found that I do need some cones if I want sleek hair, but after long term use this definitely made my hair much stronger, if nothing else. That being said, its an awesome co wash. Its a chock full of good for your hair plant extracts, has decent slip, and because its cone free any deep treatment you put on top of it will be absorbed better. It also makes a nice leave in, and your hair will smell amazing. This might not be an hg but its a really good solid product that keeps you coming for more. I've been using this (one way or another) for a year now and keep repurchasing. Next time I think I'll definitely get the liter with the pump. As for the shampoo, its a bit drying, has sodium laureth and lauryl sulfate I believe. My hair doesn't mind sodium laureth sulfate at all but us a bit sensitive to lauryl sulfate because its so damaged. However, it makes a great gentle clarifier. Most clarifying shampoos contain ammonium lauryl/laureth sulfate which is not only highly drying but also strips color. My hair is actually naturally dark blonde/light brown so I normally use a high lift blonde but I recently dyed it black and had to get it bleached out so now when my light blonde color fades it gets majorly brassy. When I use the matching shampoo as a clarifier this doesn't happen so overall, the duo is great you just have to figure out how you want to use it. Oh also, I did get a lot of compliments on my hair when using CdC, when I used pantene and even aveda everyone told me my hair looked fried.
