A great brightener and glue for loose pigments!

Price: $7 CAD
Colour: white
Finish: metallic
Texture: creamy, sticky

It really works to brighten/intensify the shadows and an adhesive for the pigments/loose shadows. I love popping this in the inner corner for a quick highlight.

This is a creamy, shimmery white eye pencil. Love the color. Highlights like a dream. I wear it on my lower waterline and it lights up my eyes. Or wear on the inside of your eyes to brighten them. NYX jumbo sticks are the best.

Cottage Cheese is a metallic white that's great as a highlighter on the browbone and tearduct. It's a bit too pigmented and stark on my NC35 skintone for a face highlighter, but I'm sure it'll work on fair[er] skintones.
Its pencil shape is fantastic for touch-ups and on-the-go highlighting! I use this in lieu of Milk as a base if I want my eyeshadows to have a bit more shimmer.
It does crease a bit, but for some reason this creases less than the other shimmery shades. As with all cream products, the more product you build, the more it's going to crease. I find creasing minimizes with Urban Decay Primer Potion and/or MAC Paint Pot or Maybelline Color Tattoo underneath.
But considering it only costs $4.50 each for 5 whole grams of product, it's fantastic enough as it is. As much as I love Urban Decay and Laura Mercier, I'd buy these any day over Urban Decay 24/7 Shadow Pencils, that cost $20 each for 2.8 g, or, even worse, Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks that cost $24 each for only 0.05 g!
Would I repurchase? Yes.

A great pencil for illuminating the tear duct and inner eye area. Gives an angelic sheen. Cheap, too.

I bought this to throw in my purse as an on-the-go highlighter. It's great! I've used this to highlight my brow arches, my inner corners on my eyes, bridge of the nose, and the cupid's bow. It's a great thing to throw in my purse, and I haven't had any issues with it melting when I leave it in my car.

i used to apply this to make some shiny and bright shimmery natural effect for the face..
after apply for the base (primer, foundation, powder) i used to apply it to the inner eye (near tear duck) and under brows and cupid bow..it'll make your face naturally shimmery and glowing..so great !! this is basically my make-up routine..
after this and super thin liner + lipgloss, i'm ready to go !!
i just don't like the fact that it have a small amount heheee ^.^

Claims - True or False?
1) Creamy, easy-to-blend formula: Mostly true
2) Glides on like silk: True
3) Lasts all day: True

Packaging:
Comes on its own without any cardboard packaging, just a tear-off plastic seal over the cap. Clear plastic cap that easily comes off and is on the flimsier/cheap side - mine has not broken but there are a few tiny cracks in it. While this is clearly a design issue, consumers must remember to NOT be forceful with replacing the cap as pushing it down too hard/far will prompt breakage. Ingredients printed on the side and the name of the colour is found on the front of the pencil.

Formula:
A silvery white shimmer/frosty pencil that provides shimmer and pearl once blended out. Very smooth and soft but not overly emollient or waxy or thick. Remains sticky/tacky if applied in large quantities (as eyeshadow) and not powdered over. A bit hard to wash off but nothing serious.

Performance:
This pencil works pretty well as a highlighting product, and as a base it definitely allows shadow to adhere and be built more quickly. I prefer to stick to my UDPP as a base and use wet brushes for trickier powders or for loose shadows, so I cannot attest to its abilities as a shadow base or as a shadow on its own (I am however testing it overnight to see how it fairs for longevity, and will update). As a highlighter it takes a bit of getting used to the finish and to application for best results, and overall while I would prefer an off-white or pinkish shade as a highlight this one does work quite well at bringing light to the eyes and giving the eyes a nice lift and pop. The pencil is very smooth and applies very easily but it is also a bit too smooth and can be over-blended. This results in the colour being a bit too removed and too much shimmer remaining. I find that the best way to use it to prevent this from occurring is to apply a small amount to the area you want to highlight (or to your finger instead) and pat the product instead of sweeping to blend. Then softly sweep over the edges to soften the line or even over the whole application if it looks too heavy. This preserves the colour and pearly finish. Used as a highlight it seems to last all day for me without fading, although it's possible that sometimes the shimmer migrates to other areas sometimes, nothing too serious. It can be hard to remove because of how stubborn the shimmer is, so I usually still have some on my undereye area.

Bang for your Buck:
About $5CAD at London Drugs for 5g of liner. A fairly great price especially if only used as a highlight.

Final Consensus:
A product I will continue to use as a highlighter but I will not turn down other products for trial. I would repurchase and recommend to others but it's definitely not the best highlighter product out there. Definitely a better option than a matte white if you feel that such a shade is too stark for highlighting (I do not like matte white as a highlight for my fair skin).

I was originally going to get this in Milk to use as a base/highlight, but my friend convinced me out of it because she thought a stark white would look too unnatural. I agree with her, but Cottage Cheese is not much better. It's very white, with some shimmer/sparkle (I'm not a fan of shimmer). It just didn't look right on me. Packaging also sucks. The cap is annoying, like others have said. I'm glad I'm giving it away, because I wouldn't know how to sharpen it.

I use this pencil on the inner corners of my eyes and as a highlight on my brow bone. It has a perfect little sheen and hangs on all day. As a bonus, it's super cheap.

Actually decent as a cream highlighter, particularly when you layer a powder highlighter like ELF gotta glow on top.

I love quite a few of the NYX jumbo eyeshadow pencils and I love some and like others. This is a love one! Milk is my go-to for most days but Cottage Cheese is always in the inner corner, I swear. I love this since it's not extremely opaque and adds a lovely shimmer all over.

This is my third favorite behind Milk and Yogurt. I recommend this for a shimmery base. As always, I'm not impressed with the packaging. The lids SUCK! They crack and break and get pushed down into the pencil, squishing the tip all into the lid. Frustrating! Melt and repot these if that's an issue. Easy-peasy!

I bought two eye pencils from NYX, one in this color and one in a violety blue. Both were really disappointing. The pigment is light and not strong at all. It just gives a slightly colored pearly sheen. Honestly, wish I could return these...

I got this for $4, and the quality is pretty good! This is a nice, creamy, metallic white pencil that is fairyly thick. I've dabbed it in my inner corners on occasion to brighten things up, but my favorite use is as a shadow primer(?). Line your top lids with this and layer ANYTHING over it. Fantastic! Beautiful and budge-proof! I wouldn't recommend this alone tho, because it does seem to smear on it's own. I have also used this on my bottom waterline to beautiful effect. Had been debating on this shade or Milk (a non-metallic white) and honestly am glad I got this one. I use it about every day. MUST HAVE!

Love this colour as a brow/inner eye highlight. However, very creasy, even with a primer underneath if worn on the eyelid.

I have both this shade and Milk (among others), but I think I prefer this JEP because it's shimmery. I have to use a primer under all of the NYX JEPs, so if you have oily lids this may be a good idea. (ELF Mineral Primer is only $3 and works like a dream for me.) I love using this pencil under my mineral eyeshadows, it gives them something to hold onto and it makes the colors stand out more.

NOTE: To all you people complaining about it fading/smudging/creasing, etc. For goodness sake... go out and buy an eyeshadow primer. Urban Decay's is worth the $22(CAD). Wear it underneath your NYX Jumbo Eye Shadow Pencil. Then you can stop giving perfectly wonderful products such poor reviews!

I was debating between 'Milk' and 'Cottage Cheese.' I'm glad I went with this one. It's a shimmery/frosty silver-white colour that really draws attention to your eyes. It's fast, easy to work with; even when applying in the inner corners of my eyes. I also apply it on my brow bone and soften it with my finger tips. And like I already said, wearing it over top of primer really helps with the staying power and keeps it smudge-free. I'll definitely be checking out the other eye shadow pencils in the near future. *Requires a 'jumbo' eye pencil sharpener, but I know those aren't hard to come by.

I bought this pencil by accident - i was in a rush at Rexall and the line was long so I grabbed it thinking it was white (milk) when i got home i said 'cottage cheese?'. but i still gave it a try and boy am i happy i did it is amazing it gives any eyeshadow a pearly glow and since i don't really like matte eyeshadows to begin with I LOVE it. one DRAWBACK though is that it doesn't make hard colours like yellow pop because it's not as opaque as milk.
