This is my HG lip stuff, and it's been discontinued! I've been buying them on ebay to stock up. The clear is my favorite, followed by Solar, which is a sheer easy to wear pink.
I'm a lip balm/lip gloss junkie, and this is the best!

OMG I LOVE THIS!!! bought at good old acw for $8 USD (i think) and just received it today, its quite a bright berry/red color on my nc20 skin, the color does stain your lips although it doesnt last long, stays in its place, i like it much better than lipstick as this ones more like a cross between a cream lipstick and a lipbalm, Such great pigmentation, next time i order something from acw im going to order the other two colors on there. Such a good product if you dont want to go through the process of applying lippie!!

This is my HG lip product, this is what I use in place of a chapstick type of material. I find it is moisturizing but not overly so. I use it so much that I keep it with me or one in the car so I can use it whenever I need. I use it as my layer beneath my lip gloss or other lip products.

I love this balm! I wear it underneath my lipstick every day. It gives me an added slip of moisture and shine, which is perfect for these dry winter months! Definitely a must-have in my makeup bag.

Okay, so I was REALLY wanting this to be good...i bought it along with the smashbox lip exfoliator for a whopping 45$ for the set. The exfoliator is nice, but it works 100x better when followed by a plain on Chapstick lip balm or blixtex then the smashbox lip treatment. When i used the treatment, my lips were soon dry and cracking again...useless! I am going to return it today!

okay so here is the deal i love this lip balm i am a lip balm addicte i have tried every high end lip balm their is from the 99cent chapstick to $75 la mer and this is by far the best ever has a delicious honey cent and flavor i think that its well worth the mony , i also love the packaging becuse its extremly classy and is lile a lip stick container !!! my only complaint is that there is not enough in the tube i apply it about 10-15 times a day (no beacuase it makes me dry but because im like i said earlier addicted) and i go through a tube of this stuff in roughly 1-2 weeks!!! but i found it on ebay for 4.50!!!! so always check there first!!!!

BEST lip teatment I ever use! Very nice natural color that I don't need a mirror to apply. Moisturizing. However, it doesn't last that long b/c after all, it's a lip treatment, not . $16 for it is somewhat expensive

This stuff is fantastically underwhelming. For $18-something, it is basically the tube equivalent of the honey flavored cheapy tin lip balms to which I was addicted in grade school, though perhaps less moisturizing. I bought it as an emergency soother/treatment when I stupidly allowed a mint-based face wash to come into contact with my extremely mint-sensitive lips. I needed something very basic to hydrate and pamper my blistered pucker, and this seemed to fit the bill. It goes on very waxy, and my lips feel dry even after applying far too much (I've experimented with all manner of application intensity). When it wears off, my lips feel like they're made of some un-skin-like, possibly plastic, substance so, while it does soothe the discomfort, it actually makes the tightness and dryness worse. I do have to give it a 5 for packaging, though -- very nice white, rubberized tube. If only they would have spent as much time on the product within.

I've never bought a high end lipbalm, but I got this in my Allure Beauty Box and will definitely buy it again when I run out. It's not waxy or sticky and comes in very complimentary colors. Mine is "Beam." My only complaint is the case. I've had it for less than a week and the outside layer of the lipstick tube is rubbing off, like a clear rubber paint coating that is coming off.

This is pretty damn good. The packaging is very sleek looking - a white lipstick case with "smashbox" written on the side. The balm itself screams "quality". It's a lipstick style balm, with a white core and peach surrounding - I'm not sure what the difference is, if any. It goes on clear and smells and tastes like honey - yummy! It has SPF 15, which is fabulous. The balm is moisturizing, but not overly so. It also LASTS! I'm definately happy with it and will repurchase.

This product didn't moisturize my lips at all. It goes on thick and lasts for a long time but after the balm is gone, my lips still feel dry.

I've repurchased this and both times I bought the original (colourless). To me, it has a very faint caramel smell (according to sephora's description, it's honey). Definetly tastes sweet. I don't mind either attributes. The balm is moisturising, but with the 2nd tube I feel like I have to 'break it in' so that it glides on without tugging. Other than that it works wonderfully. As with fresh's sugar lip treatment, I don't consider this product to be a treatment but a balm instead. The exterior layer of the tube packaging does peal as the reviewer below mentioned, but it's not a big problem since the whole thing is white anyway. I do prefer fresh, but this is one of the best lip balms I've tried in tube form. 3.4g

Really good product. really moisturizing and spf. it never leaves a filmy white thing on your lips. it lasts really long and leaves your lip soft after it is gone. the only problem is the price, and weird smell that you actually get used to, and after a while the tube sort of peels. other than that i have to say it is the best lip product that is put on my lips. better than vaseline, caudalie, chapstick, softlips, rosebud, EVERYTHING. THIS IS THE BEST

Alright, I’ve got a favorite new lipstick/lip balm for daytime use! I was actually nearly finished with my tube of Lamas Lip Enhancer and was pondering whether or not to order another tube when this little wonder from Smashbox wandered in to my life.
I actually received this in an MUA swap (BNIB) and I have to say that it turned out to be the best swap that I have ever negotiated!! :) I got it in “Shine,” which is a bright, almost-fushcia-pink in the tube (think “Fushcia Fix” from MAC TLC in the pot) but which goes any very pale and sheer, although the color is buildable.
These come in a white lipstick tube with the Smashbox logo imprinted on the side and I find this product to be the perfect marriage between tinted lip treatment/balm but with enough pigment that it acts almost like a lipstick – albeit the *best* lipstick I’ve tried in quite some time! They even have a built-in SPF of 15.
There is no discernable scent or taste, and it’s very emollient without being greasy, and it doesn’t bead up into little waxy balls on my lips if I apply another layer without completely wiping away the remnants of the previous application, which is a problem that I’ve had with nearly every other tinted lip balm I have tried * cough, MAC Tinted Lip Conditioners, cough-cough*....The color lasts very well for a tinted lip balm, leaving behind a noticeable bit of stain to my lips even after eating/drinking/smoking!
Let me put it this way: I loved the one that I received as part of that swap so much that I immediately went about trying to obtain the additional colors! I figured I’d be able to get them either from my local Sephora or from www.sephora.com, but it turned out that the only place I could find them online was www.nordstroms.com and www.QVC.com. I ordered mine from the latter, which actually turned out to be a blessing as QVC is selling them as a two-piece kit for $28 (Solar/Sun and Beam/Shine are the combos available) although they sell for $16 a piece separately.
At the moment, in addition to Shine, I’m the proud owner of Solar, a pink-red that is wearable enough for every day without screaming siren-red! And although “Sun” looks like a scary orange/brown in the tube on my barely pigmented lips, it actually turns out to be a perfect nude shade. All of the shades are buildable so you can swipe on a thicker layer for a darker, more dense – but still shiny – result.
My research at the moment has led me to conclude that these lip treatments are either limited edition or else very hard to find – they weren’t even listed in the little Smashbox catalog that accompanied my QVC order, which allegedly contained a complete list of Smashbox products available from www.smashbox.com.
In any case, I love these little tinted lip balms so much that I’ve ordered a 2nd set of both color duos from QVC as I’m terrified that I might not be able to get my greedy little paws on them in the future! I’m thinking of writing to Smashbox – I need to tell them to do something about their current packaging for the BrowTech Duo because you run out of wax before you even make a dent in the brow powder! – and begging them to A) make this product more widely available and B) introduce additional colors (I’d love to see a peachy pink someday!!).
If you are an afficionado of tinted lip balms, or if you find that your current lipstick isn’t moisturizing enough, you seriously owe to yourself to try these out. They put the MAC Tinted Lip Conditioners to shame! If I could remember the name of the swap-member that I received this from, I would send her a dozen roses with my eternal gratitude!!
ETA: For the record, I apply some of my beloved Skinceuticals Antioxidant Lip Repair and wait a couple of minutes for it to absorb then I apply whichever Smashbox Tinted Lip Treatment shade will compliment today’s outfit....

This is a very nice lip treatment for daytime (and even nighttime)! I really like the white lipstick tube packaging. I find this quite similar to Neutrogena's Honey Rescue Balm - except Smashbox is not a pot-form and not as thick a consistency. It has the same sweet honey fragrance as Neutrogena, adds no color, and has a soft sheen when applied.
My lips have been unbelievably chapped lately and this is the best thing I have found to date for both healing and moisture. Prior to purchasing this, I tried: Carmex, Burt's Bees, Aquaphor, Blistex, Chapstick, Laura Mercier Lip Silk, MAC Lip Conditioner, Smith's Rosebud and Strawberry, and Guerlain Divinora Lip Balm. These are all great products (except Guerlain and Smith's - blech!), but for the degree of chapping I had nothing, but Smashbox, helped.
I definitely recommend this one, but Neutrogena's Honey Rescue Balm is a good drugstore alternative. I paid $16USD at Sephora.

At first glance, I was not a huge fan of the Smashbox lip treatment. I originally tried the clear original formula and found it to be ok. Put it in a drawer and then picked it up a few months later to use up. It doesnt seem really moisturizing at first. A little on the dry side. What I realized though is that this makes an excellent lipstick/lipgloss base. Its not too wet or too slick so it makes a great base. My lips dont feel as moisturized, but they really are. After using this, I realized my lips stopped chapping. I no longer get that annoying white line on the inside of my lips! Its an amazing miracle product. I cant actually say that about any other lip balm including Kiehls. I use the Smashbox lip treatment during the day and Clarins heavier lip balm at night and i dont have any chapping problems. When i ran out of my clear tube of smashbox, i immediately noticed my lips started getting that white line on the inner rim again. So i picked up the new tinted lip treatment in Beam. Its a pinky brown YLLB shade. On my brown lips, it just gives them a slightly pinkish tint to them. very natural looking. Still makes a great base and no more chapping. Retails for $16 and i will never be without this product again! i also love the Smashbox lip exfoliant, its moisturizing and exfoliating. This so beats the Benefit Lipscription duo set. This is a must have HG for me!
